That is why, when I play a Dolby Vision video on my Dolby Vision enabled TV I just get a HDR message popping out on the top right corner of my TV screen.

Finally, a video with enough bits to create a decent 1080p image.
In about 15 years we'll have the 32K option that will give us a flawless 8K image.
What do you mean? If an image doesn't look good in a certain resolution is because it needs more focus and less noise as you look into more detail, adding more resolution will not solve the problem, getting better illumination, sharper lenses, better autofocus, better denoising technology and so on, is what will help, otherwise you would have more pixels but no more details, ending with a 32k image that look equally as bad at 8k.
@@Jose-sk6oe The bitrate of RUclips videos at their given resolution is crappy and doesn't do the resolution any justice, so if you want high quality 1080p video on RUclips, then you're best watching the video set at a higher resolution like 4K.
The production quality is incredible. The way the music was synced with the chameleon's eye movement at 0:40 is next level!!!

@@Certified_souls_player why? that is not how you demonstrate what a monitor is capable of. showing them a regular chrome google search tab for example is going to be absolutely useless at demonstrating just about anything. showing colourful and vibrant imagery at a native resolution is the best way to do things.

using a tcl r635 and it looks pretty good , this is actually triggering dynamic contrast to change where i notice it vs local contrast being on, very interesting. I do have the tv color calibrated

doesnt matter what monitor or tv u use, this is gonna look good no matter if is a 4k or not, so is not much about the display you used but about how this video was recorded, all the video editing behind and of course all the colour correction .

@@miro5031 Wrong. RTings has done burn in testing on LG CXs and there’s such an incredibly smaaaaall chance of getting burn in as long as you vary your content, don’t watch Fox News or CNN all day everyday (bad for your mental health anyway) and use the built in features to prevent burn in.

Amazing on the MacBook Pro 2021 (M1 pro) mini-led 16 inches. It's amazing what apple has done with this display. I've owned an iPad Pro 12,9 M1 with a mini-led until a few weeks ago, but I could definitely see the blooming and it really was disturbing. Now they completely corrected it. I don't know what magic they did. If you look on their website, it's supposed to be the same screen. Same contrast range, same number of mini-led and dimming zone etc. But no. They definitely did something, it's not the same screen at all. Maybe they put more dimming zones, maybe they added a kind of filter layer, maybe it's because of an improvement in the software (but in that case they should generalize it to every mini-led screen they did!). But they definitely did something that they hide for some reason. You can still see just a very little bit of blooming, but you have to reaaaaaaally be looking for it. Now we can truly say that the quality of their mini-led matches the best OLEDs, and even better because it can get brighter in lighted areas (up to 1600 nit). Congratulation Apple for bringing the best display on a laptop without the disadvantages of OLED (poor durability, burn in etc...). Again, I don't know what they really did, but after two generation of try and fail because of the blooming effect (Pro display XDR, and iPad Pro M1 12,9), now they got it right.They finally nailed it. Congrats Apple and thank you. For that amazing screen + the super great performances + the amazing battery life, I don't regret a single Euros I spent on the laptop! :)

using the DCI P3 color profile by Apple Inc. actually makes a surprisingly profound difference in the color and gradient quality even on an 8-bit color monitor.
Watching this on my new-to-me, 23", $25, 1080p monitor. It looks amazing on here, so I can only imagine the clarity provided by a state-of-the-art 80" OLED display running at 60fps. This monitor is supposed to do 60 fps, but it doesn't want to. I'll get a better one someday.
