I played this for the first time this past Thanksgiving. It was a little bigger than a basketball, took the maker almost 3 hours to make (she was being helped by a 6 yo though) and went around the table of 10 adults and 3 kids for almost 45 minutes. So much fun. I will definitely be making one of these for the next holiday party I go to
I wrap each new item added to the ball twice and then start a new piece of saran wrap. Also, we wear oven mitts. And the dice is passed around the table until someone rolls doubles then that person get the saran ball. Meanwhile the dice continue to be passed each person getting a chance to roll doubles. Anyway, it was fun watching how your family plays the game.
We tried the oven mitts this year and did not enjoy it. Stopped it after a couple rounds. But I do like the passing the dice around idea... that could be interesting... not sure how that works with a big group though.
I love your gift choices. I would also do nice gifts instead of cheap candies I’ve seen on other videos. I like the idea of small food items like raisins.
Thanks! I can’t wait to do another one this year. I spend about $100 total. It’s what I budgeted for the fam. That includes a 20 gift card in the center. It’s sometimes hard to get to $100. I have several $5 and lots of lottery tickets so it can totally be done for a lot cheaper. But still good candy!
I was hoping this would have been like the cellophane football challenge instead which is kind of similar but you use your feet to unravel the ball & get as many candies out before doubles is rolled.

We always did it with oven gloves to make it harder. 😀

Im loving this video...love all the fun they having! Thnx for the upload
You are so kind
I'm making one this year but will using different sized sheets of plastic wrap instead of just rolling it around.
I cut the saran wrap as i went along so it would take longer to unwrap. They would have to find the edge very often
I've never seen this before. How fun. Thanks for sharing

Thank you! I liked the gift ideas 💡
I'm in charge of making the ball this year, and I'm feeling a tad anxious about doing it right... this is a good how-to vid, thanks for sharing it!
kejihagu you got this!! Just don’t make the Saran pieces very big! Have fun.
you forgot the oven mitts. it makes unwrapping the ball more difficult and fun.
certainly a good variation.... we will be doing that way this year!
awesome ball. thanks for sharing!!
The first few people claim prizes while end ppl just watches best if play with like 3 people
i think you usually unroll it with oven mitts
Yes that is a variation.
🎉looks like fun I love ga 0:00 mes
I 💕watching this interactive game
Im not understanding how the dice work u keep rolling the dice until what number?
Until you get doubles
doubles
Doubles
Do you have to roll the dice and get a double or how does that work before the next person grabs it?
Yup. The person ahead of the ball has the dice. And when they get a double, they grab the ball.
What do you have to get on the dice so next person gets ball ?
Doubles
How do you wrap the $$$ without tearing it?
You could put $$$ in a snack size ziplock or gift card money envelopes
When the ball gets unwrapped, it just unravels. No ripping allowed so it’s not an issue. We have a no ripping rule.
