Ha ha ha, yup, I’ve had some awesome bites out of the corner of my eye, then dead as a dodo when I actually watch and study it 🤷🏻♂️ Great venue, commentary and entertainment. Cheers Tom
Another great video tom & you and Wayne are like the chuckle brothers when your out fishing but on RUclips its bloody brilliant and well done on your ray 🎣👍
There's a wild old coastline, as you say far removed from the relative calmness of Southbourne. I'm beavering away trying to find an opportunity to get to Southbourne, it's about an hour for me, so not too bad. Just depends what time of day I travel. Another enjoyable watch, you two bounce off each other delightfully. More please!!
As usual a very engaging video. Although now Highcliffe based I am originally from Ilfracombe on theBristol Channel so it felt like a little bit of home with the huge tides and chocolate water. Having enjoyed the video I’m now tempted to make a day trip from the Solent down to Somerset. Anyone local fancy sharing petrol costs for the day and some company let me know, I’m retired so weekdays are fine.
Thanks David. Glad you enjoyed the video. Fishing around here is definitely easier than the channel, but like you I'm looking forward to going back at some point.
Enjoyable to hear your initial comments regarding your first trip to the channel, well done on your first ray, still waiting for mine from the channel ! Nice to see you fishing a different location, East Devon beaches next ! ! Will see you there Keep the vids coming, as really watchable & enjoyable Go Steady
@@FishyTom Branscombe, varied species caught, rocky both ends - ideal for HUSS ! Will loose tackle, rotten bottom etc, caught my PB there, 8.5 lbs, varied species in between, have caught rays, smoothhounds and a lot of other species, including your favourite Dogfisjh, gets busy like any other beach during day time in the summer If you go, be careful of the car park, camera operated, will not get a minute grace, believe they have now altered this year to pay on leaving ! ! Look forward to your coming video ! Regards Derek
@christchurchanglingcentre5428 best way to be buddy and makes for a awesome videos from you lol 😆 take care hopefully see you soon with stewy and Trevor bud
Another great video Tom follow you and Wayne so having you both fishing together makes it even better and watching you both have a good laugh and catching fishing looks and sounds like me and my mates look forward to next video tight lines
Tom if you want to beat your pb's bull huss you will have to get Wayne to meet you at Bossington some big ones have come out recently if you can get around work
Great video. Fantastic Spotty venue had them to just shy of British Record and at one point 4-5lb was common. Great venue chance of double figure bass and cod to boot. Love light NW winds and big tides myself. Very tiring chasing the tide in and out though. Definitely agree that using one rod would be easier
Yes, definitely a venue I look forward to fishing again. I'll be better prepared next time! Would love a big sporty, they've evaded me for a few years now.
Hi Simon. Thanks for watching. We fished the first couple of hours of the flood, but as the tide gets higher you get forced back over the rocks and it becomes increasingly uncomfortable. Tackle losses become more frequent too. At low your fishing on nice hard sand and over far less snags. Hope that makes sense.

I'm not alone then! Glad you enjoyed the video mate.

Thanks mate. I miss fishing with Wayne. I was just speaking to him this week about getting out again. He has the same low brow stupidity as I do! 😆
Well done gentleman!

Just subbed, cracking little video this is. Very informative. Love the bait tray! I'm 6ft and thats ideal! Have you made this yourself?
Thanks mate, glad you enjoyed the video.
No, the bait tray is available to buy. It's probably my favourite bit of kit I own! Links in the description.
Sun's out guns out eh? Winter is over
