Well done Tom 😊 I do miss the variety of flatfish from the UK. Here in NZ, we have Flounder (more round than the UK version), and sole that sort of look like a cross between a UK sole and a Dab. On my next West Coast mission, I'm going to target Sole at slack water (hopefully after catching a few Snapper on the flood).

Lots of action, nail biting tension, a period of undeniable tension but yes Bournemouth are promoted !!
And another inspirational fishing video as well 🥹
As a Southampton guy I was pleased to see Bournemouth get a deserved promotion…now when you can learn to average at least one humiliating defeat per season (0-9 is reasonable 🤦🏻‍♂️) and still stay up you’ve cracked it..

    • @christchurchanglingcentre5428

Was just thinking, “it’s been 10 days since the last vid, pull your finger out, Tom!” 😂

I was also down Southbourne Beach that night rotating between a 2 hook 1 down and a pulley pennel with squid and ragworm, and blanked again, im not having much luck on the south coast lately, think might have to try these Urfe and bar rigs out. Congrats on the fish caught by the way.

Mate don't be down on yourself and blanking at southbourne beach ! If you just go down there and fish ! Without finding the smallest sand bar or gully you could blank time and time again ... I know this ! I did it for years ... to give yourself the best chance try and get down there on a mean spring tide and look from the cliffs above for your marks .. good luck next time and if you cannot don't have the time to go and reccy the beach ! Try near the cafe on the beach !
