Well done Tom 😊 I do miss the variety of flatfish from the UK. Here in NZ, we have Flounder (more round than the UK version), and sole that sort of look like a cross between a UK sole and a Dab. On my next West Coast mission, I'm going to target Sole at slack water (hopefully after catching a few Snapper on the flood).
Lots of action, nail biting tension, a period of undeniable tension but yes Bournemouth are promoted !! And another inspirational fishing video as well 🥹 As a Southampton guy I was pleased to see Bournemouth get a deserved promotion…now when you can learn to average at least one humiliating defeat per season (0-9 is reasonable 🤦🏻♂️) and still stay up you’ve cracked it..
Was just thinking, “it’s been 10 days since the last vid, pull your finger out, Tom!” 😂 Great video, looks lovely down there. I genuinely believe we have some of the best sea fishing in the country, here in Dorset 😊
Ha ha! Sorry! I'll consider myself told off! Sometimes life gets a little busy and fishing gets put on hold! I'll try not to let it happen again! Totally agree with you there, Dorset has just about everything you could ever want in some of the most glorious settings you will find!
I was also down Southbourne Beach that night rotating between a 2 hook 1 down and a pulley pennel with squid and ragworm, and blanked again, im not having much luck on the south coast lately, think might have to try these Urfe and bar rigs out. Congrats on the fish caught by the way.
Mate don't be down on yourself and blanking at southbourne beach ! If you just go down there and fish ! Without finding the smallest sand bar or gully you could blank time and time again ... I know this ! I did it for years ... to give yourself the best chance try and get down there on a mean spring tide and look from the cliffs above for your marks .. good luck next time and if you cannot don't have the time to go and reccy the beach ! Try near the cafe on the beach !
great video just what I needed after finishing work 👌 must admit that one of the hardest things with sea fishing for me is when to strike or reel in etc do I leave it or hit it's anuf to drive a man mad 😅
My money 💰 is safe. That was just a pleasure to watch. From the beautiful location, action, knowledge shared, wildlife, to the way it was put together. Thanks mate, I wish I could like it twice 👍🏻👍🏻
So enjoyable watching and learning more
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it.
Very enjoyable watch cheers Tom
Thanks again. You're definitely binge watching my back catalogue aren't you. 🤣
Seriously though, appreciate the comments. 😀

Ha ha!!! Brilliant! I'd settle with a whole host of humiliating defeats if it means we can stay up!
@@christchurchanglingcentre5428 believe me one a season is plenty enough! Looking forward to the cherries at st Mary’s
Nice presented video…😎🎣
Thanks mate

Sorry to hear you blanked mate. Always next time.

@@rickphillips5098 Will have a look about and thanks for the tips, only get out every couple of weeks but still hopeful on next time lol.
Omg, the person who vets your guests seriously needs a talking too!!, enjoyable flick again thankyou Tom
🤣🤣🤣 I'd pay good money to fish with Nev on a regular basis.
He is good company, even though he's a blue!!
Daylight soul, ambient R&B?
Do you catch many hounds of friers cliff around like August time
Mostly small ones unfortunately, better off going further along to Barton, Hordle or Milford (tide depending) for the better hounds.
Cracking watch 👍👍
Thanks mate

I very very rarely ever strike bites.
@@christchurchanglingcentre5428 ohhh nice don't suppose you could do a video on when you would reel in then on a bites etc
@@01devilboy I'll try and make sure I talk about it a bit in my next video.
Did the video on salted mackerel ever get made in the end ?
🫢 nope! Completely forgot about that one! I really must write these things down rather than rely on my terrible memory!
What are the parking charges like , I could do with a change so maybe this could do it for me.
There's plenty of free on road parking in the evenings around Southbourne.
@@christchurchanglingcentre5428 brilliant thanks for that
Can you show me how to catch sandeels? I've dug them before but I'd like to have a go with a rod. Will they take those tiny sabikis?
Great vid Bud wat verets where ya using this Time
One was an Eclisseo 4.4, the other was actually not a Veret but a prototype of something new I've been working on.
@@christchurchanglingcentre5428 oh sounds interesting wat brand is the prototype or is all new brand unknown one
Great vid as usual. Shame about the Welsh Troll towards the end 🤣
He was the star of the show. Everyone keeps asking about him in the shop. 🌟
Another enjoyable watch Tom, your picture quality is excellent. How'd you get Barry White to do voiceover :)
Ha ha! Hello Pete, hope you're well. Just found this comment that I'd missed somehow! I sound a little more normal now!
Probably should call it a bits and pieces tray
Pop up rigs?
I will cover these in detail in a video later in the year, but basically using floating beads on your snood to lift the bait to mid/top water species.
Where can I buy those bait stands?
christchurchanglingcentre.co.uk/accessories/bait_stations/
This one is the Stonfo Bait Station in conjunction with a Preston Pro Tripod and Korum QR Adaptor.
Liked it before I even watch it. Pretty sure my money is safe on this one 👍🏻
Oh, no pressure then 🤣🤣
