OK YOU ARE MY HERO! I have a 2011 countryman S all4. I love it but the engine is high miles. It's getting close to time to rebuild. I have been considering the kswap for ages but don't want to give up my awd. I'm watching all the vids now. If you have time i'd like to pick your brain.
@@chloe_n_leo soon as i have more than a plan and $50 lol, but i don't know if i'll do a build vid if the car dies and i have the funds this is my plan now for sure.
I've been planning out my K swap on my r56 for a little over a year now, and ironically 2 weeks ago it decided to blow the rings on cylinder 2 and lose compression as well. Fate is taking us down the same path haha
Driveshaft shop already has made axles for the r56 k24 swap that are rated for 800hp. Let me know if you need the part #, they don't have them publicly listed. They are priced though, around $850 shipped
Thanks! I have spoken with driveshaft shop already and although they have an available set of front axles, they still wanted me to take measurements and verify. They don't have anything for the rear so I waited until I had the rear end done so I can order all four as a set at once, they are pricey though as you said. But hopefully just a one and done deal.
I have an 09 clubman base with a k swap , 35r turbo around 400whp. Love it so much! Next year it will be chopped up into an exo kart. Looking forward to seeing your updates on this
Im currently trying to k24 swap my 08 cooper s and I own a 12 civic si that im pulling the motor from, from what I know it seems pretty straight forward in the fitment but is there any specific parts I would need
Could I do a swap to AWD with the original engine? My moms Cooper S blew the engine (N14) and we bought another N14, but in the future i would like to have an AWD Cooper S having the stock engine
I just got this recommended, I will be observing this thoroughly as I'd love to do the same thing with a r56 clubman.
Such a good swap. AWD is definitely a good idea with your setup! Good luck. Can't wait to see more videos

Did the crv awd trans fit well or did you need to do some clearancing?
Awesome! Which cr-v gearbox have you used? You have the number?

How could I get the photos and information on you mounted the engine
Nice!!
How much HP you think that running gear will handle?
How did you get a 5 lug conversion?
Sooooo my question is will it pass inspection lol
What happened to this project?
Where did you get the engine mounts?
I used unviversal K swap bushings and fabbed the chassis mounts myself. I will cover that soon when I start posting front end videos!
