My very good friend since kindergarten took part in retaking Kharkiv within Kraken unit. Unfortunately, was the one who died from RPG during assault, he was a veterinarian surgeon in civil life.
I remember him talking about forming this new unit. It didn't come from nowhere. The network was already there and was formed mainly from veterans of Azov, Donbass units and others taking parts in 2014 and on events.
19.01.2024. Within this week, 21 Ukrainian servicemen surrendered to the Russian army. Of these, 14 people are in the South Donetsk section of the front. In total, there are more than 25 thousand Ukrainian POWs in captivity of the Russian Armed Forces (hundreds documentary films of the POWs), and only 400+ Russian military personnel are illegally detained by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. This is the official data of the parties. Didn't you know about that? Of course, you didn't. This is a disturbing piece of information, isn't it?

They are so great. They are literally failing on every single front line. On top of that battalion, Azoff has been completely wiped off the map. This is of that they have right now this is a complete new unit of new recruit. The original Azov members wher real dudes with ideologies, The new group is just pieces of meat, because there is nobody to fight Ukrainian war left

Its surprising how these elite units have been mostly heard of or seen more than Ukrainian regular army itself. I guess the core patriotic values are stronger with the voluntary units. Army must recognize these battle hardened veterans and provide them the requested equipment seeing their valuable experience in the battlefield.
They are the army, Azov is the national guard, the 3rd assault and 5th assault are the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Painter is also the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Davinci Wolves are the 65th brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, now there are no voluntary units as there were at the beginning of 2014. Instead, they are in the security forces,Kraken is MTR.
i dont know about the davinci, but the 3rd are definitly well equipped, and kraken has really good equipment as well

@@sergeyKN115um, afaik they're both part of the army *and still* volunteer-centric (be it welcoming volunteers from outside the armed forces, or ppl already enlisted asking to be transfered there). the 3rd AB's site has a recruitement form wh/ asks "Are you currently a military service member," for instance.
AZOV is a top unit, but they would be even greater if they get new tanks and personal carriers

@@ggromio6703 azov and other mariupol defenders were surrounded in the city that was constantly bombed by ruzzian aviation, fleet and artillery for 86 days with no supplies from mainland part of Ukraine, roughly 3000 defenders in mariupol fought against more than 30k army that has a dominance in absolutely everything. I wish i could see you lot in the same conditions, i bet you would surronder in the first day

What an amazing production. The people in these units are warriors and Generals have long sought of ways to explain the difference and not to the detriment of a soldier who is fighting for his country and is willing to die for his country but they still distinguish between the two. This is just a general description "a soldier follows orders, good or bad, a warrior follows a code. Being a soldier is a job, while being a warrior is a way of life. Even in the Bible there is a distinction made. In Romans 12:2 it states that "he soldier goes through training, whereas a warrior goes through transformation. A transformation of mind renewal as according to Romans 12:2. The warrior learns from the experiences of others as well as their own."
According to many a warrior can be created and the US has done so in the Army, Marines and Navy and the training is designed to break someone down and rebuild them, and we call them SEALS, Special Forces Green Berets, Marine Raiders and the Force RECON units or in general Special Operations. I would have to agree that you can create a warrior but there are people out there who are natural warriors like we are seeing in this video. I hope that United 24 makes this video available to a wider public. These men and women need to be seen and their successes and even losses create inspiration for Ukraine to win this fight and be given what they need to win this fight.

"Shock troops or assault troops are formations created to lead an attack. They are often better trained and equipped than other infantry and expected to take heavy casualties even in successful operations." Super-units (=Special Forces) is a misleading term, militarily speaking. Shocktroops would be more suiting.

Azov was destroyed in Mariupol. It was then reassembled from the remnants and they were defeated again. In Bakhmut. The 3rd brigade was also defeated there. Then the 3rd brigade was defeated in Avdeevka. These are the super units.

93th brigade - all important battles around Kharkiv, along with kraken, and marines - their hold in Krynky is an unimaginable.

THESE are the ones that saved Ukraine untill it got set up a proper army recruits to join and get well trained and equipped military program cuz the aprox 170K professional soldiers that was the size of AFU pre 24th february 2022.
They liquidated the 87% of the force that Putin had sent originally.
Now AFU is the super professional army while russian army is pretty shitty atm ,the gain Russia had since june 6th 2022 is 0.27% ,up from 18% to 18.27% of Ukraine occupied is something that tells you Ukraine will never ever lose this war. Russia gain,lose,try retake and lose tens of thousands of soldiers and 1000s upon 1000s of equipment like tanks,IFV,APC,SPH,planes,choppers and gawd fck knows how much more...And the most impressive is to sink ⅕ of a naval fleet w/o having a funntional navy of themselves!!
20% of the russian Black Sea fleet is also where the newer ships have gone too.
Then we have the FPV kamikaze drones evolving from dropping small grenades to fly 5kg of C4 and/or other explosives m7xed w/ shitgun pellets in all sides.
I saw 4-5 videos in the TG channel to Magyars virus where it was buckets upon buckets with pellets from 1mm to 10mm,plus there were videos of them making the DIY charges...

There's so many of these stories about the history of the Ukrainian defenders and their units,platoons,companies,brigades etc as well the men and women behind the diff call sign who pre feb24th had never held a weapon before,n'or wanted it.
As I've been saying since the full scale war started:It's worse to meet an army of mom and dads who either lose all or become slaves for the Kremlin Gremlin,and these ppl,these units... Saved their country so it could keep their government and country.
They have been under Kremlins rule before and KNOW they rather die in battle for their country than become a puppet state for Kremlin.
These ppl and their units will fight until Ukraine is free of russian soldiers and attempts by Kremlin to wage more war!!
