I been running white vinegar through my coffee machine for years. Make sure you do two full pots of hot water afterwards or your coffee will taste like like vinegar.

Plus descaling any coffee machine with a water reservoir regularly is gunna help keep that clean. I used to sell a lot of different types of coffee machines.
