I ALWAYS wanted a Ed Reed type player on the Lions. I always wanted a team with an ANGRY defense that plays fast as hell every play and hits hard. Branch is all that and more. Every hit from him you can hear thru the broadcast on TV. Big brain. Plays hard every play like he was shot out of a cannon. They call him BB for Brian Branch but to me he is BULLET BILL! Guy is literally a missile with arms out there. So happy hes on our team.
Kirby and Branch has this friendly rivalry race on who’s going to have the most interceptions. Kirby is probably going to eat next lol gotta love our safety’s
It's cool how this safety unit has creative freedom on the field. The follow the play, but have the ability to do so "loosely" and adjust based on what they see in front of them. Kerb and Branch together are arguably the best safety duo in the league.

@@DillonJayasuriya I agree. He can be. But he's also lazy sometimes. That pick by Branch against Dallas was a perfect example. Reader and Alim are our guys inside. Levi has been a bit of an issue in his career with us. Ever since he was drafted. He's a solid rotational piece. I'm excited to get Broderic Martin in there and now that Pekos on IR we need Levi. He's a solid piece, don't get me wrong. He just shows sluggishness sometimes. Usually when someone on the D gets a pick or fumble recovery and their running and making a play to score, the rest of the defense is running with him and finding someone to block. The whole D gets pumped up, but not Levi. Just stands there right in the line of fire.
