Love the “yes sirs” and how this team is constantly talking about and cheering for and complimenting and fighting for their teammates and how it’s a brotherhood. Zero ego on the squad. We not me.
You have Kerby "Zuper Star" Joseph, and Brian Branch is Meta Knight. 😀 I mean the Lions already have Gibbs and Montgomery as Sonic and Knuckles, why not Kerby and Meta Knight?
I have so much respect for this young man. During the draft in Detroit, he was the only player that stayed for Day 2 to walk across the stage. Drafted by Detroit in Detroit. It was meant to be!
He said he decided to stay the second day in KC to walk across the stage because he knew he'd never get the chance again. Even though he was heated, he swallowed his pride and did it. He also knew how much it meant to his mom to see him do it, and all that combined shows you a little bit of his character. He's a very impressive young man.
Brian Branch just showed the NFL and its viewership what a true professional football player should be in this interview. On the field, a player that is full of skill and heart. Off the field, a man that represents maturity and respect for the Lions organization and its fans.
Amen Brother. William Clay Ford bought the Lions on the week I was born. My whole life has been hope and frustration, yet still love for this team. We are in the group of people that can say we loved the Lions before it was cool. Let’s ride this thing all the way. Peace!
@@EverettWoods-x9zthere is no way to know if he’s as talented as Troy or Ed but you darn sure can’t say he isn’t until his career is over because it IS NOT evident.
Not since Glover Quinn have we had a Safety this good. We are spoiled watching these guys win. Tough road game, but still pulled it out. Respect to the Texans. EDIT: I can't leave Kerby Joseph out of the mix. Him and Branch are equal to Monty and Gibbs, Goff and ARSB. So many more good players, all the way to special teams (JRM is a huge loss, too). The chemistry these guys have with each other and the team is a testament to this team success.
More than flowers tho. Rodney compared Branch to a combination of Micheal Jordan & Lebron James or Ray Lewis & Lawrence Taylor! Rodney called Branch the upcoming GOAT.
Agreed, I remember on draft night, all the guys covering the draft said this was a steal. That he shouldn’t have fallen that far, they were right and we’ll take it
this win is the power of grit. never flinched those lions and they believe in their coach and brothers to get it done. them lions are for real. respect.
As a lifelong fan for 40 years it’s still hard to believe this is real , Xmas is every week , Campbell has brought joy to millions of us and this team is a joy and a problem and we’re going all the way , hard to explain the happiness this team is bringing us
Man, I didn't think it was possible for me to like Brian Branch more than I already did. What a total class act. This guy is not just a great athlete. He's a leader.
Not at all. The only way to be successful in the NFL is utilizing the small cap hit of players on their rookie contracts while balancing big-time money.
Finally, The Lions have people who know how to build an organization. First, you decide what kind of team you want to be, then you go out and get players that fit firmly within that identity.
@tromboneman4517 right but id also consider teams like baltimore and pittsburgh there too. And now perhaps chargers w jim harbaugh roughly speaking....tho id say the ones you listed are on top of the list for sure
@@I_Am_L_3 Organizations and fan bases always want to win now! So they make moves to facilitate that, and most times it doesn’t work. I want to win now, too, but I’m realistic. Branch is amazing. Talent wise is off the chart obviously. But it’s his personality, Holmes drafts people who fit the lions culture perfectly. Tough, hard working, all about the team.

Campbell has built a squad that is really unbelievable. The attitudes and character besides the talent is off the charts. Even on Jamo Campbell knows how to handle him. What a coach! Branch is elite!
I can see why they didn’t bring back Gardner Johnson… his ego was through the roof. Every single player on this team is humble…especially bates! Love these guys so much!!
I saw future greatness in Mr. Branch last season playing where ever they needed him. Right now he may be the best safety in the NFL, for sure All Pro and is a tackling and intercepting machine. Also our defensive line really stepped up this game. Keep bringing it Lions.
Wow, what a cool and respectful guy, all the yes sirs coming in, way to go Lions, great game, got me on the edge but i knew we got this. Next week in town we going to make it hot for Jaguars

When the dust settles. When the Lions emerge as Superbowl Champions. When these men get traded away, playing for different teams well into their careers. They will look back on these years and let it be a reminder at how great they already were. That they can rest easy. Until that time. GO Lions. 😅
Love the “yes sirs” and how this team is constantly talking about and cheering for and complimenting and fighting for their teammates and how it’s a brotherhood. Zero ego on the squad. We not me.
Good observation. Selfless players who cheer for their teammates more than themselves
Legends interviewing also. Much respect
They also hold each other accountable for their mistakes.
Zero after they got rid of CJ
Don't forget the love you guys in the locker room
BB and JKerb are the best safety duo in the league!
No question
You have Kerby "Zuper Star" Joseph, and Brian Branch is Meta Knight. 😀

I call them the Smash brothers
Best safety duo, best rb duo, and arguably the best OT duo. If Hutch was still in we might have the new best DE duo.
Jkerb #1 & BB #2

Less than that to be honest. The only teams that know who they want to be and attain that identity are the Chiefs, Lions, and maybe, MAYBE, the Bills.
