  • One of Australia’s most significant contemporary artists, Shaun Gladwell (b.1972), returns to Sydney for a major project incorporating two exhibitions presented by Sherman Contemporary Art Foundation (SCAF) in association with UNSW Galleries.

    A sequence of unrelated abstracts that can be rationalized subjectively.
    The artist's metaphysical value judgments are without judgment. He says implicitly, 'there are things' 'here are different things'. Additionally 'I am a thing, you are a thing. We are noticing things, and here are some things that I noticed for you to experience to'
    I'm not sure how "a visual artist" identifies very much. I know that an author or poet might be referred to as an artist by means of an artistic expression with words. Also a musician would be a non-visual artist. Aside from that, aren't all artists visual artists?
