I can't believe I found this game again. I randomly had a very brief flash back to the cutscene about the Ceratosaurus. But I couldn't for the life of me remember almost anything else about this game. No idea what it was called or anything. The game had left my mind for years and years and years. Fortunately, through google, I very quickly found a forum where a guy was trying to figure out the same thing as me. Scrolled down, and someone responded saying "Dinosaur Adventure 3D". Quick RUclips search later and here I am. Holy shit... everything about this is flashing me back so hard. The voice, the sounds effects, the intro, cutscenes, the games.
Wow... I remember playing this when I was in preschool. I even remember asking the teacher if I could take it home and play it just for a night. After preschool, I never saw my teacher again and completely forgot the title of the game. Every time the memories of playing this game came back, I always had the same thought: "What the hell was the name of that game? I want to try to find it, buy it and play it again!" So, I tried searching things on google like "video games involving dinosaurs" (because I remember dinosaurs were involved in the game) to hopefully get a list of games with dinosaurs in them and find a title I'd recognize - that, of course, didn't work. Or I'd try reverse image searching and google "2000s video game involving a dinosaur jumping" or "kids video game involving dinosaurs" or "2000s kids video game involving a dinosaur jumping" - because running and jumping was all I remembered from the game along with a couple of cutscenes, namely the one of Rolf (I had completely forgotten that character's name) ducking behind the rock so the T-Rex doesn't see him after he said, "Yep, we've got us a big problem all right!" (I don't remember him saying that line, though) and the one of Rolf sounding his horn at the rising moon across the lake. With every attempt, I hit a dead end. But this evening, I decided to try my luck again. Like the past several times, I tried being specific and describe certain parts of the game I remembered, so I searched "disc video game involving a dinosaur jumping", "kids video game involving a parasaurolophus jumping", "parasaurolophus jumping video game" - on each search, I came up empty-handed like before. Then I found the cover art of the game on Google Images and thought "Something about that seems right. Games back then had that kind of art style for disc cover." So I clicked "Visit" and it took me to an Amazon page. I took a look at the screenshots of the game, and when I saw Rolf, I thought, "Hey! That character looks familiar!" So I decided to look up a video to watch the gameplay to confirm if it actually WAS the game I had forgotten the title of for 11 or 12 years and spent so much time looking for, and this video was the first one I clicked on. When I recognized the "Galloping Gallimimuses" minigame (I couldn't have told you that name, either), the two cutscenes I mentioned earlier and Pterrance the pteranodon (I'd forgotten his name, too), I was so happy because I knew this was it. This was the very first video game I've ever played. I played it when I was 5 or 6, and after 11 or 12 years of not knowing what the title was and a handful of years of trial-and-error searching for it, I finally found it this evening. Sorry about the length of this comment - I am just so happy to see this game again! I think I might buy it and play it again, just for the nostalgia!
Me too. I'm almost 20, and I still have it. A lot of my knowledge about dinosaurs actually came from playing this game. Plus, Triassic Tar Pits was one of my favorite mini games. I always got a good laugh out of watching Rolf jump into the tar. Especially when I made him do it
I always loved to replay this game to see if my favorite dinos would hatch near the places i liked to get hatching crystals at. Some of them were good looking while other were just meh.
It's been so long! I've been retracing trying to find this game! I played it religiously back when I was young. Thank you so much for posting this classic game! I know it's probably meant a lot to so many to see this again after so many years.
Omg yesss thank you. Man I remember thinking that dilophosaurus video was SO COOL. Probably why that’s still one of my favorite dinosaurs EDIT: you're really gonna leave my boy Brak like that??
The dinosaurs in the Dinosaur Adventure 3-D game are Tyrannosaurus Rex,Corythosaurus,Spinosaurus,Triceratops,Diplodocus,Stegosaurus,Allosaurus,Pterosaurs,Carnotaurus,Gallmimus,Ceratosaurus,Velociraptor,Apatosaurus,Plateosaurus,Protosuchus,Terrence the Pteranodon,Mosasaurus,Dilophosaurus,Dimetrodon,Rolf the Parasaurolophus,Syntaris,Protoceratops,Ankylosaurus and T Rex
Ughhh, predator was SUCH a pain in the ass. I'm glad to see you had ass much trouble with it as my 7 year old self 🤣 I was particularly miffed by the fact that there were velociraptors and ankylosaurs in the JURASSIC jungle. Everything about that game was atrocious
This was my favorite game as a little girl, me and my brother used to beg to play it on the computer all the time. I remember this and putt putt saves the zoo were my faves. Oh! And the scooby doo adventure games, my favorite was the one where they went to Egypt
I've probably been looking for this game for a decade now. I could not remember the name of it for the life of me. Probably because it's such a generic game. Regardless, I'm so glad this is here. So many memories came flooding back the second I saw the title screen.
I think that Predator is the creepiest game in this masterpiece, but it pales to what happens when you wait and do nothing long enough in the hub sections.
So, I was thinking about this game recently, but all I could think of was the "egg alert" voice line. Needless to say, it took me a while to find this, but I'm glad I did.
I actually played this one in elementary school in (I believe) fourth grade or so, which was around 2012. All I remember is that the teacher got pissed at me for turning on the subtitles, even though I couldn't hear a thing with everyone in the class talking. And I always had the subtitles on because they would (and still do) help me understand things better.
This brings back so many memories... Also, noticed this while watching, but this game uses the same sound the Dilophosaurus @4:25 makes with the Spinosaurus in Carnivores 2 (or is it the other way around?). The things you pick up when you're older lol
Philip Cohen how the hell does Rolph parasaurolophus have trouble saying his own species's name? Apart, of course, from human children of today being dumbed down.
Does anyone know how to get this game again? I’m trying to find downloads online but they all only work for old versions of Windows and I have windows 10 :( I would love to play this again
@@tractorguyproductions5151 Oh My goodness. It’s hard to believe that the same voice talent actress who voiced in An American Tail 1, 3 & 4 “Including Uncle Elephant” voiced Rolf the protagonist Parasaurolophus from this CD Interactive Game.
You know, I played this at an After School program as a child, the graphics were good (if you have computer screens that only projected Black and White that is), looking at it now, This game did NOT age well.
The credits show that two people did the voice acting: Pat Musick, according to her Wikipedia page, as Rolf, and Jerry Kissel as, as far as I'm guessing, Pterrance and that triceratops from Connect-A-Cave.
Do you know what this game needs? A re-release on GOG.com and Steam
Is Rolf voiced by a man or a woman?
Maybe he's voiced by a woman
Not likely. After all, Matt and Trey can do voices like Rolf's, and furthermore Rolf himself sounds like a blend of Stan and Kyle themselves!
Okay
@@tractorguyproductions5151 Do you not watch South Park?
The sheer excitement of finding a dinosaur egg in this game can’t be explained in words. Childhood right there!
This my was damn childhood. I miss this game so damn much!
Glad you enjoyed it!

Interesting. Thanks for watching!
This post was exactly what I was feeling.
Alec McGrath 21:49 Rolph's noises would freak Pach out unless he were Immortal.
SAME
One of my favorite quotes is: "A herbivore is a plant eater. A herbivore is IN MY WAY."
I spy.... AN EGG NEARBY. Try looking where I tell you
I saw this picture on e621 of Rolph engaging in sexual activity. That's despicable; he's JUST A BABY!
I thought that CGI was the most realistic thing in the world
You did too? I thought that same thing when I was a little lad. Lol

Exactly
Testsubject276 I thought about an Albanian remake.
What's an Albanian remake?
Tractorguy Productions a remake in the Albanian language, duh!
Oh, of course!
I love computer pc games! of course I’ve played almost all of them
sometimes i could exit out and then switch to another game, wow! You’re great at sharing
Cd-rom game I mean
Or… I could um you know party plan and web surf at the same time
Web surfing while party planning?! That’s crazy talk!
Yup. My early childhood. Surprising how much game graphics have improved since the late 90s.
This game did have good graphics back in 1999.
Sooo nostalgic, Rolf was one of my imaginary friends when I was a kid. Thanks for the upload!
Kids will never know the thrill of galloping gallimimuses. 30:00
I know, right? It's funny that a kid's game has music and sound effects to make your blood pumping.

I tried my best.
Also, failing the cartoon style, Rolf's a baby.
The worst parts were, arguably, the randomly sprinkled rapid streams and quicksand pools.
Holy crap, I feel like I’ve forgotten this but this video brought it all back to life. Childhood memories for real.
Sam D why no sabre tooth Tigers? Or are they a Cenozoic animal?
I need this for my future kids, they are gonna know so many dinosaus and be so cool in first grade.
Predator was too difficult for no reason. even today it seems.

Every couple years I get flashbacks of playing this game and I try to look It up and I finally found It
So nostalgic. Been looking for this forever.
im literally going to watch every minute of this
Gotta love how there’s loads of predators on the island, but when a T. rex comes to the island, *then* it’s a problem.

It would have been fun if it was a third person perspective maze like game.
Or even first person, like Dark Deception.

How does the T-rex know you're looking for eggs?
That's another good question.
@@tractorguyproductions5151 Thank you, along with; Does the T-rex even know what you're trying to do?

Maybe he hasn't said for a while....... He did say "PARASAUROLOPHUS!".
I just got smacked in the face with a nostalgia bomb when I pulled this video up. Jesus H. Christ those were good times...
Jesus was a cunt.

There is so little coverage of this game on RUclips.
Well, I'm surprised
Just one egg? Are you sure that's it?
How did you get this running on your PC? I can't even get the setup to run on Windows 10
I normally installed it on my Windows 10 laptop system and it works fine.
Dinosaur adventure telling us that T. rex arms were weak did you know that there arms could lift a ton and were as big as a human arm
Wow, I didn't know that.
Yeah, get it right, KA, you stupid goosea!

Brock McGinnis at a GA private school?
The cartoon animations are pretty alright, but the CGI is pretty awful yeah
Excuse me, this is clearly top of the line. EA is probably jealous.
Who does the voices?
The credits show that two people did the voice acting: Pat Musick, according to her Wikipedia page, as Rolf, and Jerry Kissel as, as far as I'm guessing, Pterrance and that triceratops from Connect-A-Cave.
Did loading times between areas always take this long?
No, it's because my disc has a lot of scratches on it.
Subtitles included.
I turned on the subtitles for the hard of hearing, or impaired
Is Rolf the Cretaceous messiah, or just a very naughty parasaurolophus?
Lol I liked that but I didn't understand English tough but I remembered his voice XD
When this game was released?
1999
Ok, thanks :D!
Ok, how in the hell did you get this game running?!
It would always scare me so badly when the t. Rex would show up
I just installed it on my system, and it didn't cause any problems
does anyone know where to download this very game ?
Bro this was my shit
Well, it's pretty much everyone's favorite game
42:26 "strok skull"
Can you repost without the subtitles?
Why? I turned on the subtitles for the hard of hearing or impaired
Tractorguy Productions it is a little distracting and detracts from the experience
Is there a download link?
Sorry, no.
