Same. Back when I was a kid, my imagination had me and the main character as best friends. In my head we were so close that the both of us were inseparable.
I have been thinking about what this game was for years now. Not because I want to play it, but to prove my memories weren't deceiving me. I vaguely remember the house I lived in when I played it, and the family moved when I was only 4 years old. Part of me thought my brain made it up. Strange weight to be lifted for sure, but I feel vindicated.
I received this from another teacher in elementary school. I felt a deep connection between me and the main character. In my imagination we're the best of friends and we were so close, no one could take his place.
Friends, I am now 24 almost 25 and this game takes me way back... to a much simpler time, which if you're reading this, was a much more simple time for all of us. Just words can't really describe how I feel after finding something lost from my childhood like this, I'm sure it's the same for all of you.
I am 24... and for some reason i had a dream of this game. Back when i was only 6 years old. Thankyou for the upload!! I rediscovered my nostalgic childhood!!
A few of those short sequences featuring one particular prehistoric animal used to freak me out as a kid. The _Cynognathus_ one at 19:25 freaked me out the most, to the point where I was most reluctant to click on it.
I got this as a Christmas present when I was 5 and I couldn't use enough hands to count how many times I played this game and complete it. I was so obsessed with this game I played it well throughout high school. And even in college a few times just for the fun of it I played. I honestly don't think I'll ever get tired of this game. It's just so good and I used to be one of the biggest dinosaur fans you'd ever meet.
This was my first real video game. Took me forever to find this game again. Never did get to finish it and I've always wondered how it ended. Now I get to find out!
Had a wild flashback to this game when we started talking about dinos in class. I played this when I was 5ish (2004) when we got a home computer. So great to find your video!
Imagine if this spiritual sequel was revamped as the theme park from the original while having the same aesthetic of the new while moving around Paleo Island with either an arrow keyboard and click on the mini game with the mouse.
I played this game so much as a kid that entering my first name would cause the logo to repeat endlessly, and the egg matching minigame eventually stopped working altogether. I'm unbelievably happy that it runs perfectly on my current pc and that I can once again use my first name without breaking the game. The egg minigame's still broken though, but that's a small price to pay for such a blast from the past. And yes, I will occasionally pick this game up and play it.
oh my god! I've always remembered the island map, it's insane watching this again and seeing how much of this rings a bell, even the little things like the music skipping in the intro then Pterrence is introduced
@@mmgamer9276 that's good to know! I had tried downloading an ISO of the game a couple years ago and couldn't get it to run. Could have just been a bad download. Did you have to do any kinda compatibility settings? Or did it work immediately
I got this game for Christmas when I was probably 10, I'm 26 now. Only got to go through it once before the guy who offered to burn the disk for my mom, stole it.

I remember an old game in which a child was transformed into a dinosaur by a witch, and in the game the child’s true form was restored. Is this the game or not? Does anyone remember this game?
You can tell that this game has out of date info. T-rex is not the biggest carnivore but it definitely was the most dangerous. Biggest belongs to the spinosaurus.
Mmm. I've been wondering about the voice of Rolf the Parasaurolophus for a long time. Plus, I'm just double checking. could it be Pat Musick voicing Rolf? it sure sounds like the same voice talent. Or was it Jeannie Elias who voiced Rolf as she voiced Huey in Quack Pack?
After listening to some clips on BTVA, I’d say Pat Musick is pretty sure. Also, did anyone else get confused on Rolf's gender back when they first played this?
Yes it is possible emulate the game But you can put the game in install from Windows 7,8.1, or 10 on 7 it will Give odd color with 32 bit or 64 bit for 7

Also, Rolf, the host of the adventure, speaks very eloquently for...a baby.
That intro too nostalgic
Rolph faltering with his own species name too funny!
