omg and 6 also mirrored 2 with their reveal so it’s a nod to the fact that an OG did follow that instruction and for someone who got a call from GF for the first time since 1.
well funny thing is that *69 and caller id were popularized by the scream series with I think Caller ID actually being invented because of the 1st movie so essentially there wasn't even a concept about that until she yelled that at the screen in the movie.
I just realized that sam wasn't on the phone when she was walking behind detective bailey In the Ghostface Costume before she killed him....this means that it was tara on Sam's Phone right Before Sam Stabbed him. that's kinda cool tbh!
I like how this movie kinda calls out all the over aggressive Scream fans who were being a**holes towards Melissa just because they didn't like her character taking on the torch passed on to her by Sydney
They have said that they are trying to recreate the original 3. Like Sidney, Gale and Dewey. This means that these 3 recreations wont die most likely. Sidney is Sam, Gale is Tara and Dewey is Chad. Sam is Sidney because she got betrayed by her boyfriend in her first film. Tara is Gale because she has a love interest being Chad and she was the one who shot and killed the final killer in her first scream movie just like Gale in scream 1. Chad is Dewey because he has barely survived the last 2 screams and he has a love interest being Tara. So that may be a hint that they won't die maybe.

For the gf signature kill, Ethan normally has the gut stabs and we see that throughout the movie (Kirby,anika,Tara) and on the train everyone was alr suspicious of Ethan because he “had Econ” (we all know he killed anika, it was confirmed by the crew and the actor himself) anyways I think on the train (which was Quinn) she was trying to mimick the kill style so that there would be another reason to prove Ethan’s innocence! Anyways I loved this movie SO MUCH and ethan was my fav :)
One of the most interesting things i found is that the Ghostfaces were super brutal and fast, and that 100% matches how Sam is, very much different style than the previous GFs were with Sydney. They made the new villain reflect the viciousness of its new final girl. Loved it.
I feel like it might just be me but I loved Ethan’s reveal. To me, even though it was obvious he was or is one of the killers, I still loved when he took off his masked and see how crazy he looked and how much he resembles Evan Peters making me think Jack Champion (I believe he was 17 when he started the movie?) did a great job a playing a psychotic killer :)
Not gonna lie, kinda disappointed we’re missing out on a genuine first time watch reaction. But it’s Scream and the internet loves to spoil so I understand. You’re honestly not the only RUclips reaction channel admitting you’ve watched Scream VI already before reacting to it. Appreciate the honesty, all things considered. This movie was so frickin' good! I held out and waited for it to drop on streaming. I was hollerin'. This made it to #3 or 4 on my list. I was a person who wasn't a fan of Melissa's performance in 5. She just wasn't very expressive to me, but baby, she came to play in this one. I loved her performance in this one and she looked really amazing too. And if Scream knows how to do one thing, they know how to pick an amazing cast!! Loved this cast.

Dewey didn't have plot armor, he had David Arquette armor. Test audiences loved him so much they kept asking if he survived his first stabbing at the end of the first movie so they changed his fate. This continued to happen every single time!

Rewatching this reaction, I noticed something. They literally gave us a clue on who one of the killers could be in the opening at Jason’s apartment. They mentioned the cameras in the apartment… if they found Sam’s ID there, they would have been able to know if it was planted or if it fell out of something. But, a cop involved, they can hide that evidence away.

Girl this was a massive improvement over 5 even tho I liked 5 it had a lot of stuff that bothered me but scream 6 sm of that was fixed. I screamed sm in theaters especially during Gale’s sequence like bitch I would’ve been considered a scream queen by all the screaming I did😂. I loved all the chase/tense sequences, the core 4 especially Sam were great better performances than it was in 5, the kills were sm better in 6 than 5 cause 6 actually delivered some gory kills, creative opening, loved the New York setting made it feel refreshing cause I’m tired of woodsboro, legacy characters had very good moments, the killers were better than the ones in 5 but still not amazing or great just good/decent, it had such iconic moments in the franchise like the double ghostface on screen for the first time then a double knife swipe made me so happy cause we’ve never seen that before, great ghostface lines, honestly just a great movie an 8.5 cause it was a 9 but plot holes, bunch of moments of disbelief, and some cringey acting held it back.
I remember when I lived in NYC and I was really just going through it and just had a break down on the subway. legit did not give AF about anyone else around me because I forsure knew that everybody on that train has had one of those breakdowns once a month in a public place lol

Ethan had on plaid so i called him quickly. The cop never sat well with my spirit but i did suspect kirby and even mindy (cause of the plaid pants) and the dialogue about not wanting to get hurt again.
Anika's death made me cry so hard. And same Ethan is the one I knew was the killer from the start and I suspected he would be the killer since the scream 6 poster came out.
I also have 1 camera in my ground floor living room in case my outside one doesn't catch an intruder at least my inside one can get additional footage.
The best thing about Scream VI IMO was the characters ! I came in loving Tara, thinking Sam was fine, not really feeing Mindy and just feeling confused as to who Chad was other than the " jock" stereotype. However, by the end of this movie, I love each and every one of the core four !
I'm honestly disappointed at the horrible story someone told on TikTok of homophobic people booing/ yelling out homophobic slurs and being grossed out by Mindy and her girlfriend kissing. But cheered and clapped like sicko's to her gfs death 💔☹️

Core 4! Scream 6 is all I’ll ever talk about now I enjoyed watching this in the theater like I made sure to watch it on premiere day and it was worth it! The ladder and the subway scene stressed me out so much, kills were brutal and the chase scenes were great! THE DOUBLE KNIFE SWIPE SO SATISFYING! The opening is still one of my favorites along with scream and scream 2😌 Also pansexual girl here lol it was a struggle seeing this whole cast because everyone was SO FINE Also may Anika rest in peace because she deserved better I loved her!😭

The best thing about Scream VI IMO was the characters !
I came in loving Tara, thinking Sam was fine, not really feeing Mindy and just feeling confused as to who Chad was other than the " jock" stereotype.
However, by the end of this movie, I love each and every one of the core four !

Core 4! Scream 6 is all I’ll ever talk about now I enjoyed watching this in the theater like I made sure to watch it on premiere day and it was worth it! The ladder and the subway scene stressed me out so much, kills were brutal and the chase scenes were great! THE DOUBLE KNIFE SWIPE SO SATISFYING! The opening is still one of my favorites along with scream and scream 2😌
Also pansexual girl here lol it was a struggle seeing this whole cast because everyone was SO FINE
