The 2.5T motor gives you some serious acceleration but it also cuts into your top speed compared to a 3.5 or a 5.0. It all depends on what your looking for. It might just be me, but as quick as you are accelerating, I don’t think you’re short on amperage, and the way to higher speeds is higher voltage.

Here are the setting I use on my Stealth Clone Bomber converted into a Cafe Racer E-Moto.
    Sabvoton 72200 Controller Parameter Settings
    Lack Voltage- 58V
    Current- limiting Voltage- 65V
    Over Voltage- 85V
    DC Current- 200 AMPS
Boost Current- 200 AMPS (If Boost is enabled)
    Rated Phase Current- 200 AMPS
    Max Phase Current- 450 AMPS
Protective Phase Current- 500 to 550 AMPS
    Flux Weakening Enabled or Disabled
(If disable ,the max speed will be reduce about 10~15%, and will extend the max mileage greatly.
If enable ,the max speed and max dissipative current will be improved by about 10~15%.)
Flux weaken current- 65 AMPS (works great for me)
When the value is below 50, it will improve the max speed with economic dissipative current , when the value exceed 50 , controller will consume much more current to improve speed ,and the controller temperature will rise very fast.
Value range : no more than 80A , we recommend about 50A.
    Regen ON
    Regen- 40 A
    E-Brake- On
E-Brake Phase Current 35 A (For my stealth Bomber with QS 273 3.5T motor) Heavy Bike!

I wasn't sure how fast it would go but that's pretty good for an e-bike! I have my mountain bike with off road tires and it's NOT ELECTRIC. There are some special days where I have more energy and I actually can reach 80 km/h or 50 mph on a flat road... not for long obviously but I don't have the gears to go faster. The first time that I ever did that, my hips hurt for 3 days. Still, crossing a 4 lane road gets me to 40 km/h even though I have to change gears 1 time without pressure on the chain so I don't break it. Fun speeding up. I do break a lot of chains though, expensive ones, and spokes and sprocket teeth get stripped off and even a couple of bike frames snapped at the bottom bracket. E bike might be fun when i'm older but for now, I just like biking the old fashion way :)

hello, for my part, I asked for a 5t engine instead of the recommended 3.5t, I have sabvoton 150A and the acceleration is really very (too) strong for the road I find, I go at 75 km/h maximum (46mph) maybe more. the difference with yours is that I have to go slowly at 20km/h then I can put all the power and in 2 seconds I am at 70km/h. the engine is really made to run in the dirt. if I start on a climb and the bike needs power the controller displays 10500w for 1-2 seconds and then the power decreases so as not to overheat the battery. I find that with your engine you should go much faster on flat ground like 130km/h I think. otherwise I find the wheel motor great, when I brake with the rear wheel the whole bike crashes very hard on the front wheel, it gives stronger grip than a motorcycle to turn while braking. it's great on the road, but I haven't tried much off-road, I have the turtle slick tyres. did you choose the 2.5t engine yourself? it's strange with all-terrain tires, it's the engine that has the least torque Nm. how many miles can you do at most with 45ah?

    • @VoltedAdventures

@@VoltedAdventures i have a question i can't seem to find anywhere, they say lithium batteries last 3 years or 1000 charges, question number 1, what happends if im charging from 90% to 100%? does that count as if i charged the battery from zero? question 2. What happends after charging it 1000 times? is the battery gonna die completely, or the range will simply decrease?

    • @VoltedAdventures
      @VoltedAdventures  2 года назад

@@TheGamingChad. Theres a video out of a guy who claims his battery is over 3 years old and he didnt notice that much of a difference... now to answer your questions:
      1. No, charging form 90 to 100 does not count as a cycle. a FULL cycle is 0% to 100%. so lets say your battery is at 50% and you charge to 100%, that counts as 1/2 a cycle.
      2. batteries are usually 500 to 1000 cycles, after that the batter performance starts dropping... it doesnt just stop working.
If you practice good battery up keep your battery should last a very long time...

5:45 unless you are overcoming substantial rolling/wind resistance, a higher wattage motor (all else being the same) won’t give you a higher top speed. At 65 miles an hour, 4000 kW - 6000 kW is more than adequate to overcome resistance, so by doubling the wattage of the motor and keeping the Supply voltage the same (I’m assuming 72v), you will get better acceleration/more torque, but the same top speed. That’s “electric motor basics 101”; Voltage determines maximum motor rpm. How are you throwing so much money at these bikes while not knowing the absolute minimum when it comes to how they operate? 😂 🤦🏼‍♂️
Cough up $2k for a 24kw motor, maybe that’ll help lol

there will probably be some current/acceleration limiter or something like that because i have 8kw stealth bomber set to around 9,5 kw , 72v40Ah battery and it has much faster acceleration than this. your acceleration feels kinda lazy . I have probably the same 150A sabvoton controller and my motor is 3,5T and my top speed was 95kph with bridgestone tw201 road tires (19" rims) .. and I LOVE that bike :) I was looking for stealth bomber for something like a year, now it is 3 or 4 weeks since i got it and i have ridden 1100kms so far .. And as you said, it is ok on smaller terrain and easier trails and grass fields, but on the road, it's like at home :)) It's such comfortable and stable ride . .. aand also, your watt counter shown just under 10kw on full throttle .. maybe, it needs bigger battery to provide bigger current surge, harder current source (less internal resistance) to reach 12kW ... happy riding bro!💪🏼

The number of turns indicates how much wire is wrapped inside the motor. A higher turn number means more wire and thus more resistance, resulting in a slower motor. So turns with a lower number means a faster motor. The turn rating is inversely proportional to the power generated by the motor. Put simply, a 4.5T motor is faster than a 21.5T motor.
