Really nice job here, thanks for this subtle twist on the song. This whole sequence of events is probably some of the most memorable stuff you'll find in JRPGs, or even just gaming in general. Lightning pretty much gave up here(maybe in English its different but in Japanese she admits defeat.) I don't think you often see characters just call it quits, but she was fed up with drifting and no end in sight. There's just too many emotional things happening during this sequence, amazing game.
I was sad fang didn't get the depth she needed. The whole development of 13 was truly hellish from looking at interviews and changes between console generations
Yo me too! I imagine someone fighting a losing battle, beaten but swinging a sword slipping out of his grasp by his own blood. Some times hes trying to get to his love, other times he's buying time for the friends he'll never see again.

this song alongside the cutscene of Hope and snow is one of the highlights of the game....the feels man...
