Audie Murphy has been one of my favorites. He had it rough from day one. A real hero in my book. I've enjoyed his westerns for a long time, this is one of the few non westerns. He is great across the board. RIP Audie

Fantastic movie so thanks to the person who uploaded this great classic movie

I haven't seen this movie in a long time, so glad I watched tonight....
Audie plays Tommy a wonderful young boxer who in the end changes his heart towards boxing clean and it pays off,
he wins the fight but will never fight again, he wins back the heart of Dorothy, what a happy ending...
This shows a different side of Audie's exceptional acting skills, he could play anything and this is just a small slice of
his enormous talent, which ever characters he played through out his career there was always a hungry passion right
there on screen, Audie made you believe in his character...
Audie Leon Murphy a real super star, a super legend who just played himself, humbly, America's real life hero of WWll...
Audie's movies are not boring in fact they are fantastic and hook you right from the start to the finish...
This is a great classic movie, one of the best, I have watched Audie all my life and even after all these years my total
admiration, respect, love and honour for this awesome little giant of a man, the little Texan is still strong....
REST IN ETERNAL PEACE AUDIE LEON MURPHY--- YOU ARE DEEPLY MISSED, REMEMBERED AND ALWAYS LOVED !!!

Very over looked Audie Murphy film. I've been a fan of his all of my life. Murphy gives a strong performance and shows that dynamite comes in small packages. I think that he really could box. Anyone who's read his book knows that he was real life badass. Soldier, actor and advocate for veterans. He is still a hero to me and is to anyone with a heart. RIP Major Audie Murphy.

As I'm watching this, I see a few people in the comments pointing out how "unrealistic" it is for Audie Murphy to play a boxer in this film. I'm no expert on the subject, but you do know there are different weight classes for boxers, right? Not every boxer is a heavyweight. I even looked it up, and apparently Audie's character is supposed to be a Welterweight.

This is the first time that I ever seen this movie about audie murphy boxing,it really looks like he may have a little boxing lessons or did some real boxing.i remember when he got killed,it was on Potts Mountain in Craig county Virginia.i use to deer hunt about 45 yards away from where his plane went down and killed him and the other passengers.they were heading for Roanoke airport about 10 miles away in a straight line away, and the fog was so thick that thay crashed into Potts Mountain.and not brushy Mountain either it was Potts Mountain Virginia, why people always call it brushy Mountain beats the heck out of me now.but back then it got so heavy traveled down to his plane crash that the people keep scaring the deer off so I moved to a different part of the mountain to hunt on.now they have a memorial there build to him and well made trail down to where his plane crashed,to me he was a great man in film and in our military.im 61 now and still live close with in 45 minutes here in Virginia.i started hunting up there when I was just 8 with my dads old 30 calber m1 carbine that I still have, just like audie carried in his movie about his life to hell and back, but I never thought that he would have crashed and died just 45 yards away from my then favorite hunting spot go figure right.but from one of your biggest fans mr Murphy sir RIP you will always be America's greatest hero.let it be in your movies or your braveheart and bravery in the ww2 Europe,my father is still living today and this August will be 85 years old.he was in the Normandy invasion and the battle of the bulge,as a Machine gun Sargent.and he told me that when he was over there fighting that he never hurd of audie murphy until he got back home,I just guess my dad is really my hero to because he went to hell and back in ww2 to now 💯🇺🇸🎆🗽👏👍👌‼

Joe P - Actually, Audie Murphy ended up living and boxing in a gym in the Los Angeles area after the war and was boxing when a movie producer saw him and talked to the gym owner about him because he was a good boxer. The producer was surprised to learn that he was Audie Murphy the war hero. That was the start of Audie Murphy's movie career.
