Finally, Dark Souls 2! I can’t wait for this series-it’s going to be amazing! A few tips to help you out: Torches are very important in some areas because it gets super dark. They work differently in this game compared to Dark Souls 1. You don’t need to equip them-everytime you get a torch it increases the time on it. Illusory walls are also different. Instead of hitting or dodging near them, you need to interact with them. You can power stance in this game! To do so, you’ll need two weapons of the same type and sufficient stats. Hold Y (Xbox) or Triangle (PlayStation) to enter power stance. Use Human Effigies to reverse hollowing and regain all your health. Every time you die, your max health decreases. If you burn a Human Effigy at a bonfire, it will stop people from invading you. Bonfire Ascetics are a great tool for farming since they respawn enemies and bosses, though they make the area much harder. You’ll level up a lot in this game because you’ll gain plenty of souls throughout your journey. As long as you’re under 70% equip load, you won’t heavy roll. Get Adaptability (ADP) to level 20 early on-it increases agility and makes dodging much smoother. After that, you can focus on other stats for a while. Looking forward to seeing how you handle Dark Souls 2
Just a few tips for this game: Hidden walls are revealed by pressing the Interact button in this game Power stancing is possible if you have 2 weapons of the same class and have 1.5x the required stats and then hold two-hand button. your equip load is good as long as it's below 70%, you can see it in the menu. ADP isn't THAT important as people freak out, trust. I didn't level it up for years, you can just get better at timing and spacing your dodges. but it does make things easier, of course. 25 ADP is good, but if your dodge game is ass - no amount of s is gonna help you anyways. if you invest into black dude's business by buying a bunch of items, he will get more items in stock.
Not true! Scholar of the First Sin adds a lot of unnecessary enemies, artificially inflating difficulty over the original. That’s why it gets more hate
@bradencosier80 not really, Scholar mostly moves enemies around. The reason it appears to have more enemies is because in the original many enemies were placed aimlessly without a real purpose.
Tell that to the extra petrified statues and the red drake in Heides Tower of Flame (and the keys required for the DLC). Those additions didn't improve the experience imo.
@@fafniroth Fair point - and I didn't mean them to be enemies, just one of the alterations made for SOTFS. I personally claim I dislike the enemy (re-)location but I recently saw a video kinda disproving the idea that SOTFS has more enemies than vanilla. Still, I'm not a fan of stuff like the red drake in Heides Tower of Flame -the re-location of the Heide Knight (yes, now they're in Heide's Tower of Flame, but they felt like the "Black Knight" or "Crucible Knight" of DS2 in Valinna. That is, stronger singular enemies scattered around the world) -those DLC keys -and at least the petrified statue in Lost Bastille (since it's "technically" a mandatory path it blocks). I'll have to properly replay both vanilla and SOTFS close to one another soon to properly analyse what was actually changed - but my SOTFS experience was less enjoyable than my vanilla experience.
little tip for ADP just so you don't waste too many lvls, 15 - 20 is a good sweet spot to aim for and you can usually base iFrames off your AGL. e.g. 96 AGL = 11 iFrames (DS1 mid-roll) 105 AGL = 13iFrames (DS1 light-roll)
And as further elaboration: 20 ADP gives you 96 Agility = 11 iFrames 24 ADP gives you 99 Agility = 12 iFrames 32 ADP gives you 105 Agility = 13 iFrames So either 4 levels from 20 to 24 or 8 levels from 24 to 32 for the 1 extra iFrame. *I suggest capping at 20 or 24 ADP.*
Good tip... AGL also depends on your ATT's level (it won't concern the davo's playthrough but a mage at 30-40 ATT won't need as much ADP to aim the same AGL)
You’re in for a great game brotha, dark souls 2 will definitely feel different from dark souls 1, 3, and Elden ring but once you get used to it you’ll really like it. I hated it when I first played but after a while I appreciated it and to this day I still enjoy it. All I gotta say is you better be ready for the enemy placement and those boss run backs because they will definitely have you raging haha, cheers brotha it’s great seeing you start another game in the souls trilogy
I used to dislike DS2 but I’ve grown into loving it. The game has a lot of flaws but it’s still such a great game. Also, Majula is the best hub area ever.
Quick tip: the more souls you spend on clothes at that one guy's shop the more drip he has its worth to check his questline as hes completely souls spending based EDIT: silver cat ring is easily top 5 rings in the souls trilogy, its very useful and can save you from some falls in ds2
*ADP: I suggest getting it to 24 at most - which gives you 99 Agility (AGL) and therefore 12 s. In DS1, fast rolls gave 13 iFrames. But that requires 32 ADP, so you'd have to level ADP from 24 to 32 just for that 1 extra iFrame. *In Majula, give the well a hit with your weapon. It'll knock down a rock on top, and another Estus Shard comes up (+1 healing flask). *Forest of the Giants (27:36) look to the left of the bonfire in Majula right here - that is the path Saulden talks about. I suggest going there before you progress deeper into No Man's Wharf :) *Regarding your HP reduction upon death, the Ring of Binding you got caps this at 75% HP instead of 50%. Unless human, I suggest keeping it on. *iFrames when opening chests, doors, and backstabbing - you CANNOT just enter a fog gate or open a chest in DS2, as experienced here (47:21). You're better off being meticulous and patient with DS2 - I also suggest buying more lifegems when available, so you can heal off after combat. *Stamina: dunno if this is factual, but I personally feel like DS2 also feels heavier because stamina is drained more per attack or roll - strategy matters more than panic rolling and spamming, unlike ER, DS3 and BB.
This game is gonna have Davo tilting. People can lie all they want, DS2 is the worst souls game. This game was made by people who didn't understand what made DS1 so beloved.
Stat tips here : *11 ADP is enough as it gives you 89 AGL in your substats and that's pretty much anything you need out of it for most of the game, if you level it up more you most likely won't gain much *You can equip heavy stuff as long as it stays below 70% of your carry weight capacity (it shows it on the side of the equip menu) carrying more than 70% will result in fat rolling *Weapon durability can be a hassle for a few special weapons because they give a magic projectile when two handing them that consumes 10 durability every time you use it
Honestly my favorite souls game purely based on aesthetics. Most the bosses are kinda mid though. Especially since it seems like they went for more of a quantity over quality approach than the other dark souls games. Also, davo vid on my birthday? Must be my birthday or something
been waiting for this, can't wait to see the whole playthrough. btw I'm pretty sure you need 32 adp to get the equivalent of a normal roll from ds1, if I'm not mistaken
Normally I'd say the title was uncalled for. Not in this case tho. Dark Souls II definitely has its qualities but it also deserve every bit of hate it ever got, for good reasons too.
Davo going with the "I'll blind the enemy with my hair" build. Also, no doubt you'll be told but hidden walls in ds2 are different, you need to click a button on the controller to activate them, only some doors that won't open can be hit, some doors hitting them will make an enemy inside open it to come out.
Just a heads up for the secret walls in this game, you have to hit your A button on the wall to activate them, you can't hit secret walls in this game !
PEAAAAAAK!!!! There is a lot you missed already before the old ladies lmao. Also, you gotta go with Miracles/Warrior build bro, trust me healing spells and lightning spells from the girl in the tower can make this game SOOOOOOO much easier for you. You will struggle with getting more flasks for some time and healing spells are damn great and usefull. :D PS. You went the wrong way... Forest of the Giants is the first place you should go to bro, it is the easiest location for the start and have some cool items like a fire sword etc.
My understanding of why people hate scholar of the first sin, is that ds2 was already kind of obnoxious and annoying with enemy placement and mobs, and Scholar made it even worse. Adding an extra 15 dudes to a tiny room that already had 8 on original version. I could be totally off here, I haven't played ds2 yet, but that's what I've come to understand
As a massive hater of this game, i think most of us agree that the lore is fine, and there are plenty of beautiful areas, but otherwise its everything else.
Dark Souls 2 is the game that introduced powerstancing (DS3 dropped it). However to powerstance in this game I believe you need to have 150% of the stat requirements to wield both weapons. You then hold the two hand button and it’ll activate powerstancing. From there, left handed attacks swing both weapons. I also suggest exploring other exits from Majula before continuing down your current path. There is an intended direction that will unlock multiple useful vendors at Majula after a short distance
Yee just remember If the enemy has a shield, try to strafe/roll shield side. Most enemies have a perfect blind spot early game prior to reaching iron keep
30:09 The Tree with Stone Slap Covenant, Makes you the game Really Hard. Majula is your Hub Area. The Emerald Herald is your Hub Host. Basically People, Tell you, that you Need to Get 4 Giant Souls, so You can have a Chanse against, a Certain BOSS (There are Actually 5 Giant Souls. I Think). Those Giant Souls, are Souls of Bosses you Need to Kill. 35:37 These are the Pigs, that are the Only Enemies in this Hub. Some People, Don't Like for Ruining the Picture, and Others Don't Mind them. Here's a Thing. If you Kill them some number of times You'll Have a Surprise. 37:25 That Enemy is Hide's Knight. These Enemies are Like... Kinda Like the Equivalent of the Black Knights. So... Don't Face them IF You are not READY. And When you Have Confidance, It Needs a Back-up. Or a Mess up is Coming up. The Black Tower in the Distance is Drangleic Castle. 50:40 Fun Fact. If you want, you Can Either Kill More of thise Big Nights, and Spawn More Levers, for More Platforms, in the BOSS Arena, OR Option 2. YOU! My Dear, Can Make The Dragonrider FALL OFF The Arena. By Just Dodging an Attack, and Make him Fall in the Abyss. By the way, IF ya want, you can Tackle the Cathedral of Blue towards the Dragon, or you can Actually GO For The Forrest of the Fallen Giants, Which is Usually Basically the FIRST Path to Journey. Basically The Fort you See From Majula. Like On the way to the Tutorial, BUT on Different Direction. Also The Bosses with Giant Souls, You'll Fight MUCH Later. Probably Midgame or Later. Also After the Noman's Warf... There's another area with a Giant Soul (Main BOSS Of the Area). So Now... Before that area. Yould Finish The HIDE'S Tower of Flamy, By Visiting the Catherdral of Blue, OR GO For the Forest of Fallen Giants, and Start Exploring THAT Area.
People just call it the “worst souls game” just cuz of the hitboxes and how the camera works, imo i think its amazing i used to trash on it at first but after returning on it i loved it
And playing Dark Souls again for that whole Return to Lordran event really puts into perspective how brittle the stone-throwers' houses are. If you've beaten Dark Souls 1, I don't see too many difficulties in the future barring some exceptions.
To explain you losing max HP on death, every Souls game besides Dark Souls 1 has this mechanic in some way. Demon's Souls has you lose 50% on every death, 2 makes you lose 2.5%(?) on death stacking up to 50% total, 3 has you lose 25%(?) on every death. In all of them, your HP can be recovered back to its real maximum by using a specific item, in 2's case the Human Effigy. Even Elden Ring arguably has it with its Great Rune system, cuz the only one worth a damn is Godrick's. The Ring of Binding you picked up halves the HP loss on death and total HP you can lose from it. As for leveling ADP, the specific reason you're doing it is to raise your AGI. At 96 AGI, your dodge roll has the same 11 iFrames as in Dark Souls 1. At 105, it's the same 13 as Elden Ring, and past that it can be better up to 120 AGI giving 17 iFrames. Also, DS2 doesn't just have Light/Medium/Heavy rolling; the lower your equip load, the longer your roll distance.
Let me give you one piece of advice. Estus and consumables consuming speed, throwing speed of something like throwing knives and s are tied to the stat Adaptability wich levels Agility. Basically it goes like this: A slow roll in DS1 has 9 s, a medium roll has 11 and a fast roll has 13. In DS2 at 90 Agility you have 9 s, at 100 you have 12 and at 105 you have 13. You will need around 33 ADP to have a fast roll. Also you only get s at the beginning of your roll.
I really hate this game, no I really do. But the thing is the more I hate it, the more I love it :))) If someone asks me if DS2 is really as bad as everyone says, I will answer no, it's not that bad, it's even worse... but that's what makes me love it 😂
To power stance you need x1.5 the dex/strength requirments of the weapon (be sure to hold "y" to intiate power stancing, you'll see your weapons raise slightly up)
Just some fun mechanics in the game, you can dual wield weapons by holding two weapons of the same type, like 2 straight swords, or katanas in the right and the left hand, you can only dual wield some type of weapons, after you have the swords in your hands, hold the double hand button and you will see your character change stances, now you are powerstancing, also, dw there are no trapped chests in the game
This game is secretly running circles around the overrated DS1. DS3 might be better but I come back to DS2 the most and was hyped to have power stancing back in ER. Glad you are enjoying
@@sambonbon755no it's not objectively better, it's just your opinion it is. On metacritic dark souls 2 sotfs scores 87 overall and dark souls remastered is 84. So if anything, it's the other way around. And before you whine metacritic is wrong it's the same across every review platform. This game gets so much hate because an elevator in a windmill goes up into the sky into nowhere and changes the entire landscape and surrounding area I to a lava lake and mountains that 10,000% makes zero sense. Where did the the lava in the sky come from?!?!
That makes sense with regards to the themes of the game though... where time and space aren't making sense. It's literally spelt out for you. And yet even if it wasn't connected to the themes of the game, it wouldn't be a legit reason to "hate" the game.
Tip: if you hit the corpse on the side of the well in Majula you’ll get another Estus charge. Also, you should burn sublime bone dust at the bonfire in Majula, you’ll find out why when you do. Well done Davo, you actually went the hard route! I’m sure someone will tell you about the Forest.
My pro tips for this game are just patience and relaxation, live like a monk. Additionally and paradoxically, out troll and bully the enemies this game is like the devs saw ds1 and said let's troll harder. Once i realized this game is trolly and learned zen i loved it, but also this is largely where the hate comes from, and the game is clunkier than ds1. edit: okay so i never played this in online mode, but i'm seeing the players are mad mean. i knew they all died before majula to mess with newbies but it feels like they die before every door lmfao
Whether you linked the fire or let it die in DS1 doesn't really matter of course. Because if you let it die, the flames would eventually flicker again and if you kept it alive, it would only be pushing back its inevitable death. Until it starts again. It's a neverending cycle of eras of fire and eras of dark. Neverending until DS3 of course ;)
41:06 Yes, the first death has to be by gravity... it is the law xD I still have not finsihed my DS1 lvl1 playthrough, but my first two deaths were same, and I was focusin so hard -_-
20 adp gives you roughly the same s as the other games Everytime you die you loose a little max hp up to half, it resets when you use an effigy Estus is slower, but free and heals alot while lifegems are faster snd heal over time. This make lifegems better for in the heat of combat since you’re more mobile (they also stack if you use multiple) and estus is good in between fights or when you have a large opening. You can also use lifegems before taking damage and they’ll heal any incoming damage. In general you have more movement options in this game when locked on and you can redirect attacks to an extent while locked on, so be mindful of left stick when attacking. Seen alot of ppl not realize this and wonder why their attacks are slightly off. On the topic of bonfire ascetics this game has actual unique enemies and items only available in new game +. Bonfire ascetics allow you to push individual areas into new game + so you can get these items and farm bosses for souls (it’ll also reload items so you can farm them as well)
People hate this game but it really does have a certain charm to it that I've never had with the other fromsoft games, hopefully you enjoy it as well

OH MY GOD THANK YOU AGAIN DAVO. last time you helped me when I was having a bad time with personal things, so this time you upload when Im not having a good time in a game and Im pissed off rn, so I hope its a great vid and its hour long😄
I'm so hyped for this series I've been waiting so long for this! 😈Absolute banger to start!
I don't think bro read a single comment on the last video lmao. Literally every other comment was telling him about the health mechanic and he was still confused near the end of the video on why his health was lowering
he's probably trying to go in as blind as possible....
@@tjr930 I don't think knowing some basic game mechanics prevents you from having a "blind" playthrough but to each their own
@@tjr930 or too many comments I guess
@@mayhem502I'm happy that he learnt about the health mechanic from the game. I've had the same reaction when I noticed it
@@mayhem502no but to learn about that he has to read them and he has no clue who’s trying to tell him a mechanic or is about to spoil the game so best to avoid and just learn like everyone else. By being confused at first
Bro got one of the best items in the game and then complains that fighting the soldier wasn't worth it. Classic davo, I can't wait for more
ahh majula. i have great memories of really struggling in rough sections of this game, beating a boss, then teleporting back to majula. the music and the sunlight just hits different after that.
I am so excited to get back from work so I can watch this
24:48 "no, do you wanna break that down for me further" lol
When you said “why is my HP getting lower” I got so happy n was like YES FEEL THE PAIN N CONFUSION AS I DID🤣🤣🤣
Darksouls 2 was my first Darksouls and i was so shocked when nothing happened to my hp in other fromsoft titles
The ring for hearing voices from the cat is very useful to talk to some NPCs who may not talk to you at first
Finally, Dark Souls 2!
Just a few tips for this game:
Hidden walls are revealed by pressing the Interact button in this game
Power stancing is possible if you have 2 weapons of the same class and have 1.5x the required stats and then hold two-hand button.
your equip load is good as long as it's below 70%, you can see it in the menu.
Dude, SO looking forward to this series 🔥🔥
bonfire ascetic is one of the coolest things in this game when you figure out the other effect it has
A lot of the hate for the scholar of the first sin version is because it's not the same version as their first time playing it
@@Metalton95 Hard disagree, I think the statues specifically made pathing much more interesting (also, I wasn't really counting those as enemies).
@@fafniroth Fair point - and I didn't mean them to be enemies, just one of the alterations made for SOTFS.
I personally claim I dislike the enemy (re-)location but I recently saw a video kinda disproving the idea that SOTFS has more enemies than vanilla.
Still, I'm not a fan of stuff like the red drake in Heides Tower of Flame
-the re-location of the Heide Knight (yes, now they're in Heide's Tower of Flame, but they felt like the "Black Knight" or "Crucible Knight" of DS2 in Valinna. That is, stronger singular enemies scattered around the world)
-those DLC keys
-and at least the petrified statue in Lost Bastille (since it's "technically" a mandatory path it blocks).
I'll have to properly replay both vanilla and SOTFS close to one another soon to properly analyse what was actually changed - but my SOTFS experience was less enjoyable than my vanilla experience.
little tip for ADP just so you don't waste too many lvls, 15 - 20 is a good sweet spot to aim for and you can usually base iFrames off your AGL.
e.g.
96 AGL = 11 iFrames (DS1 mid-roll)
105 AGL = 13iFrames (DS1 light-roll)
And as further elaboration:
20 ADP gives you 96 Agility = 11 iFrames
24 ADP gives you 99 Agility = 12 iFrames
32 ADP gives you 105 Agility = 13 iFrames
So either 4 levels from 20 to 24 or 8 levels from 24 to 32 for the 1 extra iFrame.
*I suggest capping at 20 or 24 ADP.*
Good tip... AGL also depends on your ATT's level (it won't concern the davo's playthrough but a mage at 30-40 ATT won't need as much ADP to aim the same AGL)
cant wait till next ep
A tip: Illusory walls work differently in DS2. You have to press the interact button (A on xbox, X on PS) next to them
Very good tip; I wish I knew that during my very first playthru
I suggest going there before you progress deeper into No Man's Wharf :)
*Regarding your HP reduction upon death, the Ring of Binding you got caps this at 75% HP instead of 50%.
45:39 "Dude what's going on with my hair?!" This shit killed me. 🤣
This game is gonna have Davo tilting. People can lie all they want, DS2 is the worst souls game. This game was made by people who didn't understand what made DS1 so beloved.
Stat tips here :
*11 ADP is enough as it gives you 89 AGL in your substats and that's pretty much anything you need out of it for most of the game, if you level it up more you most likely won't gain much
*You can equip heavy stuff as long as it stays below 70% of your carry weight capacity (it shows it on the side of the equip menu) carrying more than 70% will result in fat rolling
*Weapon durability can be a hassle for a few special weapons because they give a magic projectile when two handing them that consumes 10 durability every time you use it
Honestly my favorite souls game purely based on aesthetics. Most the bosses are kinda mid though. Especially since it seems like they went for more of a quantity over quality approach than the other dark souls games.
Also, davo vid on my birthday? Must be my birthday or something
been waiting for this, can't wait to see the whole playthrough. btw I'm pretty sure you need 32 adp to get the equivalent of a normal roll from ds1, if I'm not mistaken
mistaken
mistaken
Normally I'd say the title was uncalled for.
Not in this case tho.
Dark Souls II definitely has its qualities but it also deserve every bit of hate it ever got, for good reasons too.
I recommend going to the forest of the giants before no man's wharf, the latter is much more annoying
DS2 is peak, you will come to learn
WE MAKIN IT OUT DA DISCORD WITH THIS ONE 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
This man built different. I'm so happy he's not gonna skip this game hell yeah!!!!!
Yee just remember If the enemy has a shield, try to strafe/roll shield side. Most enemies have a perfect blind spot early game prior to reaching iron keep
DS2 has a soft spot for me. When I have soulsborne dreams, it’s DS2 dreams. It’s genuinely scarier than Bloodborne for me.
30:09 The Tree with Stone Slap Covenant, Makes you the game Really Hard.
Majula is your Hub Area. The Emerald Herald is your Hub Host.
Basically People, Tell you, that you Need to Get 4 Giant Souls, so
You can have a Chanse against, a Certain BOSS (There are Actually 5 Giant Souls.
Kinda Like the
Equivalent of the Black Knights. So... Don't Face them IF You are not READY.
And When you Have Confidance, It Needs a Back-up. Or a Mess up is Coming up.
The Black Tower in the Distance is Drangleic Castle.
50:40 Fun Fact.
If you want, you Can Either Kill More of thise Big Nights, and Spawn More Levers, for More Platforms, in the
BOSS Arena, OR
Option 2. YOU! My Dear, Can Make The Dragonrider FALL OFF The Arena. By Just Dodging an Attack, and
Make him Fall in the Abyss.
By the way, IF ya want, you can Tackle the Cathedral of Blue towards the Dragon, or
you can Actually GO For The Forrest of the Fallen Giants, Which is Usually Basically the FIRST Path to Journey.
Basically The Fort you See From Majula. Like On the way to the Tutorial, BUT on
Different Direction.
Also The Bosses with Giant Souls, You'll Fight MUCH Later. Probably Midgame or Later.
Also After the Noman's Warf... There's another area with a Giant Soul (Main BOSS Of the Area).
So Now... Before that area. Yould Finish The HIDE'S Tower of Flamy, By
Visiting the Catherdral of Blue, OR
GO For the Forest of Fallen Giants, and Start Exploring THAT Area.
I haven’t even played this one yet I just heard getting through fog gates is a pain
It begins.
Hahaha the awe of Majula has ensnared another. :))
Basically it goes like this:
A slow roll in DS1 has 9 s, a medium roll has 11 and a fast roll has 13.
In DS2 at 90 Agility you have 9 s, at 100 you have 12 and at 105 you have 13.
You will need around 33 ADP to have a fast roll. Also you only get s at the beginning of your roll.
Hit the well in Majula. Trust me on this bro.
I really hate this game, no I really do. But the thing is the more I hate it, the more I love it :))) If someone asks me if DS2 is really as bad as everyone says, I will answer no, it's not that bad, it's even worse... but that's what makes me love it 😂
To power stance you need x1.5 the dex/strength requirments of the weapon (be sure to hold "y" to intiate power stancing, you'll see your weapons raise slightly up)
Congratulations on surpassing Afrosenju
Just some fun mechanics in the game, you can dual wield weapons by holding two weapons of the same type, like 2 straight swords, or katanas in the right and the left hand, you can only dual wield some type of weapons, after you have the swords in your hands, hold the double hand button and you will see your character change stances, now you are powerstancing, also, dw there are no trapped chests in the game
Maybe explore the area around Majula a little more before getting too far into tougher areas!
Im really looking forward to this one 🙂
Yippee 🎉 im ready. This game got me into souls like games.
Massive tip for the whole game, don't run past enemies. Killing as much as possible makes your life so much easier.
Sublime bone dust is to upgrade estus flask at the majula bonfire
There also is a well in majula
Hit the rock on it for a upgrade to estus
This game is secretly running circles around the overrated DS1. DS3 might be better but I come back to DS2 the most and was hyped to have power stancing back in ER. Glad you are enjoying
Yeah no, ds2 can be a good game but ds1 is better objectively.
The only thing DS1 did that was better is the interconnecting level design, everything else is worse.

@@tjr930this is pure cope. The devs themselves have said that that elevator was a mistake LOL it's just a poor design choice, and that's okay.
So in DS1 you let the fire face, but canonically speaking Solaire went and linked it anyways.
someone tell him that chests can break and destroy the item inside
Each enemy respond only 18 times so if you kill them 18 times they are dead dead to the next play throw
Once i realized this game is trolly and learned zen i loved it, but also this is largely where the hate comes from, and the game is clunkier than ds1.
edit: okay so i never played this in online mode, but i'm seeing the players are mad mean. i knew they all died before majula to mess with newbies but it feels like they die before every door lmfao
no man's wharf 💀
Title change *
The best souls game
My Man never listen to the ds2 haters
(Yeah ik it's click bait title)
Whether you linked the fire or let it die in DS1 doesn't really matter of course. Because if you let it die, the flames would eventually flicker again and if you kept it alive, it would only be pushing back its inevitable death. Until it starts again. It's a neverending cycle of eras of fire and eras of dark.
Neverending until DS3 of course ;)
41:06 Yes, the first death has to be by gravity... it is the law xD
I still have not finsihed my DS1 lvl1 playthrough, but my first two deaths were same, and I was focusin so hard -_-
20 adp gives you roughly the same s as the other games
Everytime you die you loose a little max hp up to half, it resets when you use an effigy
Estus is slower, but free and heals alot while lifegems are faster snd heal over time.
Bonfire ascetics allow you to push individual areas into new game + so you can get these items and farm bosses for souls (it’ll also reload items so you can farm them as well)
Fun fact you can dual wield weapons in this game
Completely skipped the first area 😂😂😂
Yeah he went straight for the harder ones
My man starting a new game a day....
Ds 2 has a completely difrent story than the other 2 but it’s beautiful
If you kill enemies enough times in a area they’ll stop spawning so it is worth killing them aside from item drops and souls .
There are some quests that you have to summon npc's for bosses to do them so please if a npc wanted to help you use their help
we're so back
Oh boy, here we go with people ruining his balance at the beginning by telling him to dump everything into ADP....
Bearer....Seek....Seek....Lest....
Don't explore no mans wharf currently
Explore forest o the fallen giants
It's your choice in the end
Only level adp to 23-24 and focus on that at the start then you won’t have to worry about it
you don't need to focus on that at the start, nothing in the first area requires i-frames
Thank you, @Ghorda9 people are scaring him in wasting levels early
Bearer, seek, seek, lest
U should install the lighting engine mod
I’m so excited bro
Try to find a well in Majula. Wink
You should download the DS2 lighting engine mod along with it's textures. It will straight up make the game look Better than Elden Ring
