All you gotta do is take that item to where you met Dusk of Oolacile (where the golden golem was behind the hydra) and you’ll be able to enter the DLC! I hope this helps!

Priscilla is a nightmare for any completionist with a moral compass. She has both a tail weapon and a boss soul weapon, both are VERY powerful, but even just trying to get the tail weapon will likely aggro her and force you to kill her. All this with the fact that she's not only a genuinely innocent character in all this, she's also a prisoner of the painted world just for the nature of what she is. Side note, if you want to give it a shot, you can get Ornstein's armor. There's now a merchant under the bridge that leads from Firelink into the Undead Burg.
Depriving yourself of a boss fight because you think morals matter in a single player game is some of the dumbest shit I see in these games. Shes not real. 😂
Little tip for whenever you're stuck in tight spaces like a corridor, two-handing your greatsword (like the Claymore) leaves you more vulnerable, yes, but the attack animations become much more vertical, far less likely to hit a wall meaning you don't need to spam the slow one-handed heavy attack of the Claymore, you can use the much faster and safer light attack even when two-handed.
Hell yea W content. To access the DLC you’ve already done mostly everything you had to kill the hydra in dark root basin and then kill the golden golem. Tbh I’m not sure if you need to speak with the girl that got released from the golden golem but once you go to the grand archives you’ll find another golden golem and when you kill him he’ll drop a pendant and once you obtain that you’ll see a portal where you killed the first golden golem and you just interact with it
Davo I also wanted to mention there’s one boss that’s kind of hidden that you might end up missing. If you don’t want to miss it than you should pay attention to an item called the Darkmoon Seance Ring. You haven’t reached the area it’s located in yet, but once you do get there and acquire the ring, make sure you go back to that one bottommost room in anor londo at the bottom of the rotating spire. It’s super easy to miss so just keep that in mind
When you lost your "soft" humanity, you lost it because you died. It drops with your souls, and is recovered or lost with your souls. On the subject of the "boss" of the Painted World, you can fight her if you want. It doesn't feel like theres much point for you - her drops are dex weapons and so don't fit your build well. Her health is also pretty low so I don't imagine you will get much of a fight. She does have sort of a unique mechanic, but I rarely see people get much out of her fight unless they want the scythe that comes from converting a weapon into a boss weapon using her soul. iirc it has the highest bleed buildup in the game, but also bleeds the wielder as it's used. Has a good crit rating I think, so it works well with builds focusing on backstabs and parries?

Actually, almost everyone in dark souls is nice. That's what people do not understand due to personal bias and not understanding the story: you are the bad guy, breaking into their home/place of rest to kill them. Every boss in this game except Seath is just minding its own business.

Good job sparing Priscilla. 🙏 When you placed the Lordvessel it opened up Duke's Archives (from Anor Londo), Tomb of the Giants (from Catacombs/Firelink Graveyard), and Lost Izalith (from Demon Ruins). You can head any of those ways. Btw, feel free to use those Boss Souls to get some free souls. Maybe look up what weapons you can make from them first to ensure you don't miss any you might be interested in using, but you've already got your Black Knight sword and Claymore/Zwei so you're probably fine.
I feel how you react to Lucille reveals your nature. There's another choice later to keep something or give it away that I feel instantly shows if you're compassionate or selfish. Of course... It's just a game right 😅 Dark Souls wants to keep you forever
Great episode! I will say Priscilla is honestly worth fighting. Not necessary by any means, but you get a really cool weapon from her soul (plus the tail weapon) and she's a pretty good boss overall. Also gives you some context for when you play ds3. It does feel really bad to attack her though, since she's completely innocent and a pacifist

There’s a secret boss at the bonfire at 5:15. But the catch is, to be able to fight him, you have to kill Gwynevere… which then triggers a secret cutscene and a lore bomb
There’s an item behind «iji» and also look at the chandelier in room with all the throwikg knives guys, the one you walk past when your on the beams at the top, there’s a way to get that item, but I won’t tell you how tho 😄
I figured I’d comment here instead of the last one. if you go back to the merchant by the sun light altar bonfire you can kill him and get a weapon that you can use to get a boss weapon
Tip: the trader you find in depths near gaping dragon boss fight named domhnall of zena, he is now under the bridge near your fire place in fire link shrine and is selling good armors so go and check them
In general, Souls games are indifferent about whether you spare non-hostile NPCs or just kill everything that moves. If you're going for platinum you'll have to kill Priscilla at some point for her trophy, her boss weapon, and her tail weapon, but if you're doing a "heroic" or canon run you should leave her be. She's strictly optional, and there are parts of DS3 in particular that will make the most sense if you left her and the other obviously-optional boss alone, assuming you give a toss about narrative continuity.
Priscilla is cool fight but her rewards are based on dexterity. Also you used her doll to enter the painting. Priscilla is basically the abandoned child of an Anor Londo god.

Warning I wish I got: This game automatically starts new game plus when you defeat the final boss. I'd wait til you have the final boss unlocked and then start the DLC. Then do final boss. Otherwise you'll have to do it all again to get to the Dlc

In general, Souls games are indifferent about whether you spare non-hostile NPCs or just kill everything that moves. If you're going for platinum you'll have to kill Priscilla at some point for her trophy, her boss weapon, and her tail weapon, but if you're doing a "heroic" or canon run you should leave her be.
She's strictly optional, and there are parts of DS3 in particular that will make the most sense if you left her and the other obviously-optional boss alone, assuming you give a toss about narrative continuity.
If you go back to the painted world i recommend going to fight king jermiah again ( q tip boy )
Really hope that in your free time you'll eventually revisit DS1

I'd wait til you have the final boss unlocked and then start the DLC. Then do final boss. Otherwise you'll have to do it all again to get to the Dlc
