That emotional moment when leaving really hit hard 😭. I lost my dad to cancer in 8th grade. What I'd give to have one more day. We always say my dad lived a 100 years in his 50, he was the best man, I still cry leaving my hometown after visiting my mom.
So sorry for your loss. I never knew my dad. He passed away 2 years ago from cancer. I'm glad I visited him when I was a teenager. I'm 37 now. RIP dad.
My brother too his life a few yrs ago. When I seen your nephew n sister running n excited n I seen u n your dad like that. It made me ball my face off. Things aren't the same but our memorys are so beautiful. That little man reminded me of my brother when he was little. He was a fkr but damn we had good memorys. ❤❤❤
You're a good son, Timmy. My heart broke for you when you left your dad....so hard. Your nephew, Jack, what an awesome kid! Hard worker and so capable! And he loves his Uncle Tim... Thanks for sharing your family with us!
Thank you for sharing the special moment when you left your dad. It’s a very good thing for boys and men to know it’s okay to express your feelings in that way. ❤️
This one got me, buddy. I literally sobbed as I saw you driving up your sister’s driveway. There’s no place like home. I love seeing you at your fathers cabin. This whole thing is just amazing. It explains so much about as good as you are, what you do. You never come across an obstacle you’re not willing to conquer. I’m so impressed with your talents and your abilities and your lifestyle. God bless you and all your wonderful family.
Coming from a moms perspective, I always wonder how family can move away so far away from their families to where they can only see them one or two times a year if that even. 😭 I couldn't imagine. I feel like I need to see my family all the time. And especially my kids! My oldest son moved out at 17 and ventured on his life and path and he would still come around on holidays and visit. Not anymore though. It's been almost 3 years since I've seen my son’s face in person. It's so heartbreaking. Visit your family people! Go see them as often as you can possible. We're only here for a short time. One day we won't be. So get in the memories and the beauty of family while you can.❤
As someone who went into the military and left home to travel the world, I hope my kids do the same. My job as a parent isn’t to covet my kids and their time, it’s to raise them to go and experience the beauty that the world and life has to offer. I hope my kids get to experience even half of what I have, and I’ll be legitimately sad if they decide to settle down in a small town just to be close to us.
I cried with you when you left your father. Having lived away from my family for years, it never gets easier to leave after a visit. Cherish every moment...
There's no one like your own Dad. My Dad died last year & I immediately thought how can I navigate through life without him. Dad's are like an invisible safety net, always there to make us feel safe & loved. Timmy, the time you spent with your nephew will be so treasured by him. He was so proud to show you everything. You can tell that he really looks up to you. Thanks for sharing some of your time with your family.💜
@Oldwise101 thank you for your kind words. I think most of us share the feeling of no matter how old we are when we lose our parents it makes us feel like we are still a little kid & how will we be able to manage without them. Time does help though & slowly the confidence & lessons our parents instilled in us starts to take over. We step into our new place in the world as our parents did before us. Just as everything in life is a learning process, losing family is as well. Thanks again for your well wishes as I also wish the best for you & a life full of joy. 😊
Tim, very nice video, emotional for sure. You can tell your nephew really likes hanging out with you.. ya can see he wants you to be proud of him. I just turned 59, lost my dad in 91 and mom in 2012. Only 25 when lost dad, very hard.. miss them so much. Your dad is a gifted/skilled carpenter, his cabin is gorgeous. Sad him having such bad back.. a lot of hard work in that man. Sure is pretty there where you grew up. Lots of memories, I'm sure. Thanks for sharing Tim. Glad you got your truck squared away.. knowledgeable and kind man that helped you with your truck. Be safe in your travels.. you have a wonderful family.
Heart warming Tim. You’re a good son. Your parents raised you well. Hoping to see your dad visit you in Alaska. Wanna see his expressions of your new home.
We’re never bored with Truck House Life. Never bored with your adventuring or constructing. Leaving loved ones is never easy. Touching moment that you generously shared. Much love and hugs Timmy! ❤🤗
Nothing funnier than hearing a kid with a cool Southern accent tell you this is “sketchy.” Looks like you have a doppelgänger Timmy. The young man with the green button down shirt when all of the family was at the back of your camper looks a lot like you. Your pops is looking real good for just having back surgery!
Tim your nephew is awesome. Love how he just jumps in to cut up branches, taking you fishing, and helping you with the truck. Your dads cabin and area around is absolutely gorgeous. Glad you had a great time with your family.
Dang...this probably is my favorite episode. How special it was. We saw your heart and i think most of us cried along with ya. Ahhh the family waiting for you and waving. How sweet!!! The cute bond with nephew, extra special. We will grow up never forgetting the adventures you did with him. Then you leaving your dads. Priceless. You're a good man Tim. Keep bringing goodness to the world.
Thank you so much for sharing your family. I can't get over how much your niece and nephew have grown! I can't help but wonder if Jack isn't a lot like you when you were young, very smart, independent, and eager to learn. You have a beautiful family, but I do love seeing your Dad's home, home it is like a piece of heaven and comforting hug. Your Dad is such a gifted, talented, and incredibly smart man that has the ability to not only envision something, but also how to make it a reality. The special thing about him is how he uses nature to create beautiful things, whether it's a fireplace, a door, or fountain, nothing goes to waste and it all will last a lifetime. You are so very blessed to have such a loving and supportive family. I actually was shedding tears when you were saying goodbye and leaving your Dad, it is like he is a part of my family too. I have tons of respect for him and all that he is. I am so glad you were able to get the cruise control fixed, that saved a lot of pain and leg cramps during the trip home. You were able to accomplish a lot on this trip, both for your truck, yourself, your family, and still have so much fun making memories with your niece and nephew. It would be so cool if they could come visit you in Alaska and you could take your nephew fishing, I know he would LOVE that! I did it again. This great-grand has a tendency to ramble, I'm sorry. I hope you will have a safe and uneventful journey home. Keep smiling Timmy, you are so very very blessed.
Ok that literally made me cry seeing your mom and sister greeting you on the road and filming. I have an awesome son like you and I can’t imagine living so far away from him like your sweet mother lives from you. Bless her 😢
It’s hard leaving your parents especially when you have no. Idea when you’ll see them again. They are lucky you took the time to help them around the house. You have such a lovely relationship with your family, it made me kind of weepy watching it. Great that you found Tim to help with all your mechanical stuffs I like how he teaches as he works. I think you two have a mutual admiration society going on.
It is okay to show and have feelings for your dad, mom, and the rest of your family. There is a distance between Alaska and Georgia, but you took the time to go and bring us all along. Your dad's place is an awesome place peaceful and quiet, and I can understand why it was so emotional when you left. So, Have a safe trip home, a Happy Thanksgiving, and Blessings.
53:16 I felt that. Leaving home when your an adult hits different than when you were a teenager. My entire family is gone now so that moment choked me up for a minute. Thanks for sharing and taking us along for the ride.
I've watched just about every episode and feel like I'm apart of the family. This by far is my favorite one to date. Spending time with family and loved ones are always special, but when you were leaving your Dad's house hit me like a tons of bricks! The love and reverence you have for him is truly special, and you also realize father time has a date. Thank you for giving us a glimpse of what made you, you. Your Dad is the coolest! Also nephew is so smart and he can learn a lot from you. He need his own youtube. Lol
Leaving is the hardest part of going to visit for sure. Pops looks good! After just having a procedure on his back. The cabin up top there is gorgeous.
One of the hardest things is watching your parents get old . Especially when you remember your dad as being a strong man but the most important thing is to have a good relationship with them and you seem to have a lot of great memories ❤
Hey Timmy, what a great video. It was so heart-warming to see you go home to your family. The journey there was wonderful to watch. It's always great to see the landscapes of our beautiful states. I just love your nephew Jack. He's very wise beyound his years! You do so much for your family. It is easy to see how and why you love them so. When you left your dad, it showed us all just how much you love your dad. True feelings for all of us to see. You are a blessed man, and we are blessed that you share so much of your private life with us. Thank you Tim!
You know this video was so amazing your family was so proud and happy you were there. Your nephew amazing smart little young man. Your pops looks like he’s having fun building. Your mom I know was so happy to see you and have you stay with her.
Another great video Tim. I get you getting emotional when you were leaving your Dad he's a smart man and pretty cool. Ready to see your next adventure.🤘😎
Your Dad seems so sweet & what a beautiful cabin in the mountains he has created. Wow !! Nice seeing you with your family. Great vid Timmy. Thanks for sharing.
Timmy..I love it when you visit your Pops place. It is so beautiful and seren. You both have such a special bond. ❤ I even got emotional watching him walk away...great visit and video. Safe travels home. Love your videos. Keep up the good work.
I don't know what's it's like to have a dad as mine caused 13 years of childhood trauma. Watching Timmy being emotional leaving his Dad made me what wonder what my life would be like with a father like his. It's a nice thing to see. Sorry to be deep 😅
Yehhh never ease living home…..brings back memories that meant a lot to you. Just know they love you and all you got to do is come back and visit… was nice to see we’re you grew up man know I can see why you love the outdoors so much. Those videos were nice and I’m sure if you do some of those we as in your RUclips family won’t bother us it’s refreshing to see some of that too!!!!
Aww man, this whole video had my crying! I love seeing your family. It’s so obvious that you had a wonderful childhood and I see exactly why you are the exceptional person you are! ❤️❤️
one of the things i really enjoy about all your videos is you are super authentic and genuine. this one was especially raw and real. really appreciate and enjoy seeing you with the fam. it's always tough leaving home / family. cherish all your loved ones while you can. so that with parents, once they have passed on you have no regrets about missed time & have good memories to reflect on. thanks for sharing your family with us tim, they are all beautiful & amazing people!
Watching your Dad walking away as you were leaving was one of those moments, I teared up a bit also. I remember back when I first started following your channel and you taking us on a tour through his house. How long ago was that? Your nephew Jack is a riot and obvious he didn't like sharing you! Moments like that somehow remain with us forever. Thank you for sharing those with us. I have several You Tubers that I follow and a common theme is we start watching for a common interest but then we become more involved with the various personalities and it becomes more than off roading or kayaking or building that incredible house. We watch it because of you. Thank you so much for sharing your journey.
Thank you for this Timmy I lost my dad 10 years ago he was my best friend,my hero and the best dad ever.Thank you for showing us your beautiful family and magical place you grew up in.
Lost my dad to cancer so I feel your pain. Glad you got to spend time with your family.camaaybe you can Skype with them when you can't be there in person. Glad you took us along to meet your family. Thank you Tim for this video. Wish you and your family a long life
That was awesome. Your family is great. I love your sister. I cried with you when you said goodbye to your dad. (I lost mine about 8 years ago.) When your nephew gets a little older, I hope he can visit you in Alaska for a few weeks during the summer. I think he would really enjoy that. You are great with him.
Life is a series of moments linked together to create an experience. Your nephew is a special kid. Quick as a whip and not afraid to put his hand to a project. My 1st thought was that he'd be great at operating VERYLARGE equipment.. IE. D12, monster excavators. I betcha stuff like that comes easily to him. I remember the first time you showed THE Cabin... oh man that was a special video. So glad that it's uniqueness hasn't changed. Get that 6.0 trans cooler installed and check your radiator clutch fan for pulling air.. Living in Alaska , you might overlook because of the cooler clime.. but, it's that one time climbing over those passes n CO that will find the weak link in any build.. Fun stuff..
Loved this video of your family and Georgia. I also live in Georgia and it was fun seeing your Dad's house, and your moms house. I hope you get back there often. They all love you to pieces. (I'm in a wheelchair, 83 years old, YOU are my adventurer)
Your Pops reminded me so much of my late husband. Long hair pony always busy, carpentry, creating. I felt your appreciation for the visit. Sister, nephew...you...see where ya'll get it. Taking care of momma too! You are a good man & son. Just sayin' ..
Good job, Tim! I love to watch you building stuff! You have a great Dad! It was rough to watch the goodbye! Every time I visit my parents in Brazil the goodbye just hurt me so bad … I felt your heart! Keep doing what your doing ! You make him proud !
Wow uncle Timmy! That cabin u grew up in is breath taking! Not only the inside but the outside as well with lil streams and wtterflls n all of the details of a Cozy place to live that Dad you have is Amazing and you should Call him DAD! i noticed you ok man when u left him walkin dwn the rd I thought it was the neighbor till i read some comments and did research..at least you told him you LOve him !That is the most important thing..My good buddies when we say goodbye on the phone I tell them I Love them because I do! I Love you Timmy! God Bless yer adventures!!
Best channel on RUclips for sure! As many of the viewers, I teared up as well as you left your dad. I live in Idaho, but grew up in California. Every time I visit family or they come visit and leave, its very hard!
God bless you Tim thank you for all you did for Christian, at 70 something I have a crush on her ha ha. I need a re-build at 70 or so. I was reborn in Charlotte in 68. Keep on truckin......
Always tough when your family is far away, tough leaving and the separation anxiety kicks in. Boy that’s the hardest thing. My dad and lil sis lived far away also and it never gets easier. Thanks for sharing with us as always guy, you are tops like your pops. ❤
I know how hard it must’ve been to leave your father knowing he’s getting older and I’m so glad that you got that time with your family. Your sister looks just like you and Mary Charles was adorable and your nephew is as smart as a whip just like you I know you must be proud all right Timmy will be careful on your way back home. Good luck and can’t wait for the next video. Much love from South Carolina.
Nice upgrades to the cabin. Your Dads place is very nice, love the his decor and great location. That is where you get you inspiration for building. Thanks for sharing. Your close to your Dad. That was emotional for you, your love for your Dad is very special, thats Awesome. Good times. Happy trails to you....
What a nice trip, it's always nice to go home but hard to leave for sure. Beautiful countryside in the small towns and old stomping ground. You make friends wherever you go, your nephew is a corker....how fun!
Your an awesome young man from a geat family Timmy. Im so happy you got to spend time with them. Im a daddy's girl so I know how hard it was for you to leave. Thank you for a great video.
Tim, you have a wonderful family! Sorry you have to leave them again. Happy trails Tim. I watch every episode you put out. Keep on Truck house lifeing.
That emotional moment when leaving really hit hard 😭. I lost my dad to cancer in 8th grade. What I'd give to have one more day. We always say my dad lived a 100 years in his 50, he was the best man, I still cry leaving my hometown after visiting my mom.

Exactly ❤
Yes
Your nephew is way beyond his real age in maturity, very cool guy to hang with.
Hmmm?
This one got me, buddy. I literally sobbed as I saw you driving up your sister’s driveway. There’s no place like home. I love seeing you at your fathers cabin. This whole thing is just amazing. It explains so much about as good as you are, what you do. You never come across an obstacle you’re not willing to conquer. I’m so impressed with your talents and your abilities and your lifestyle. God bless you and all your wonderful family.

I have three sons - my oldest also left at 17, he joined the army. He’s 18 now & lives 2 hours away. I miss him.
As someone who went into the military and left home to travel the world, I hope my kids do the same. Some of us run from abuse. Wonder no more.
@@Sky-gq7ldWhat does that have to do with what she's saying?

LITTLE MAN SAID ITLL BUFF!! HES A FREAKING TRIP AND NEEDS HIS OWN RUclips CHANNEL ASAP!! 😊😮
Feel terrible. At the age of 75 I still remember the day I left home and may Dad looked devastated while I had dreams to follow.
Tim, very nice video, emotional for sure. You can tell your nephew really likes hanging out with you.. ya can see he wants you to be proud of him. I just turned 59, lost my dad in 91 and mom in 2012. I’m never bored with any of your programs.. you are respectful to your nephew which shows integrity..
maybe your best, great family . I can already see jack following your footsteps . Boy loves fishing .
Doesn't really matter what it is, a project with your dad is really cool. Your dad needs to visit what you built in Alaska, he should be so proud!

Your dad loves you he instilled a lot of good qualities in you
Man, we felt it when you left your Dad. My wife and I shed a tear with you. You’re a good son! Thanks for what you do, Timmy.
D&D in South Carolina
We can see where you get your big kind heart from Timmy. Thank you for sharing the tender moments.
Wish you and your family a long life
Walked to school in the snow up hill both ways 😊
both of my parents are gone now..to go to the home town is really different now..your dad’s place is beautiful & so peaceful
I don’t mind watching you build stuff…you demonstrate the tricks and thoughts you use in getting things done. I appreciate that
That was awesome. Your family is great. I love your sister. I cried with you when you said goodbye to your dad. (I lost mine about 8 years ago.) When your nephew gets a little older, I hope he can visit you in Alaska for a few weeks during the summer. I think he would really enjoy that. You are great with him.
Leaving your pops place… felt that. Good to value the family time, I’ve felt that exact emotion!
