Her fireplace set up in the back with the log candle holder is too freaking cute
Aw! Thank you!
(4c, really kinky, dry, and lots of breakage) I make a hair spritz for itching and general moisturizing: 1 tsp ACV, 3 drops Tea tree oil, 1 tbsp olive oil and, 1 cup water, 1 tbsp jojoba oil (optional), you can feel it soothing your scalp. And scalp health seemed to be most important for me during the early stages. I started growing my hair during lock down, and that was all I used until it got thick. I was getting a lot of breakage, then I learned about conditioner and my journey officially began; I've been growing it out since. Your video was very informative, I never considered Rogaine for faded areas, I will "do the research".
Thank you for sharing your tips!
Thank you for posting and thank you for the update!!! You have helped me with my decision to shave my head and start over as well. I have no scalp issues (thank God), I just want to start fresh as I feel my hair has thinned out tremendously from going to various stylist that over brushed my 4c hair. I typically wear sew-ins and every time I take it down, I noticed my hair getting thinner and thinner. I want to start fresh and go to a stylist who only specializes in natural hair.
You're welcome Queen! Starting over takes a lot of courage and you got that. Be careful some stylists that claim to specialize in natural hair really don't. Make sure you learn a little about what your hair needs and how to take care of it on your own as well.
I recently started all over again due to scalp issues in my crown. I also get them steroid shots, they help a lot. I will ask her to recommend a foam. Thanks for this video ✨💕✨
You're welcome Queen! I appreciate my journey more because I've already proven I can grow long healthy hair. The goal now is to focus on health.
Great info especially the dermatologist part since I have thinning issues . What made you decide to shave your head?
Thank you! I shaved my head because I was impatient and wanted to witness the growth in my hair as started to grow back. Also, I wanted a new start in general and I wanted to go further then a bigchop. I talk about this more in depth in the actual video on my channel.
I'm a black male with 4c hair. I wanted to know what would you recommend ?
Hi 👋🏽,
I first recommend you try finding a solid and simplistic routine that works for you and your lifestyle. I have a lot of 4c hair content you can reference and use to guide you through your own natural hair experience.
However, I recommend trying out a few tips I give and incorporate them into your routine. See what actually works for you and what makes your life easier and stick with it.
Routine is key, because once you have a wash day + styling routine that day is more predictable and more relaxing in my opinion.
I could get a little more specific, but overtime you'll develop a routine that works for you.
Hope this help!
I suggest talk about no sulfates fast hair growth shampoo.
Ok. Someone else recommended it as well. Maybe I'll look more into that in the future, because my regimen occasionally changes. Thank you!
