My big chop was in November. Went big stop coloring 3 years ago. So I had a grandma bush (that’s what my 9 year old granddaughter called it). Now I got curl and I can twist it. Only 2 things that I have since the beginning is Eco and Wetline gel. My gray and black curls are popping
I bought all of the products used in this tutorial and followed the video and my hair came out pretty cute I must say. Big chop early April and im excited for my growth so far. I think my hair will look better like how Meshia's came out with more practice but overall I'm impressed and grateful for this video.
I’m currently going through postpartum hair loss. My baby is 4 months old now and literally when the third month came, hair shedding to the max. Anyway, my hair was about 4 inches passed my shoulders. I did a big chop a few days ago at the length that you have your hair cut. I nurse exclusively for my baby as well.

I chopped mine but I have quite a few problems with my hair due to lupus and medications. Also as a result it’s very thin in the the front, like it creates bald spots at times. But the top/middle and back are thick and curly, so I love watching you create your curls and watching you I have been able to create my curly hairstyle believe it or not! Thanks!!

Yes I bought that sponge thing and it did the same to my hair. It looked like a pack of broken in hair oodles n noodles 🤣 but your definition was more accurate. It was like I had 10 dreads in my head so weird. So I just do the brush method use it like a curling iron and keep it pushing. I’m trying perm rods today for the first time.

My hair is shorter than yours in this video and thinning, especially at the crown. just wanted to address some ladies in this thread wondering if this will work for them: I have watched a gazillion videos but haven’t seen anyone with hair like mine. Products respond differently to different hair types. Although, as you stated, yours is 4c and low porosity, it looks to be more of a silky/medium texture rather than a course texture. So, someone with 4c course hair would not get the same results as you. Although I’m still learning, and unfortunately at a late stage, knowledge is still power. It’s important for us to know our hair type in order to understand why a process may not work for them. Good luck all!

Hello ladies and gentlemen, protein treatments help you hair strands to become stronger , deep conditioning gives moisture, so if you’re 4c type and you’ve done many things to get beautiful curls and nothing really works that should tell you you don’t have protein or moisture balanced , you’re missing one or the other.
Here because I just chopped off my hair (didn’t even plan for it, just happened) and I’m not feeling it yet 😫. So, maybe this styling would make it feel better. I’m gonna try it.
