Why is there a term V square in the Frictional resistance equation? It should be V because the units of f' are force per unit area per unit velocity. So for F to be a force, f' should be multiplied by Area and Velocity and not by Area and (Velocity) square. Please explain.
Frictional resistance is proportional to V^n where value of n varies from 1.5 to 2.In this video(sry almost in all books) they took the value of n as 2.
i do not understand the horizontal summation of forces i.e. p1A1-p2A2-f1=0 ..because the fluid is not in equilibrium and is flowing in the pipe then how can we equate the equation to zero.
I had the same question in my mind. no one is bothering to tell this. Well, we took 2 sections 1-1 and 2-2, consider both them as walls, since at 1-1, P is acting on the section. The same will be the scenario for 2-2. we always consider pressure as acting on the walls.

Best explanation of this topic thank you sir. You are a legend
❤ From Karnataka
The way of teaching is awesome sir
I luv the way u teaching and thanking by heart for helping all students with thier doubts
why P2 is in opposite direction

If u teach me all subjects I will be the topper of my class😅❤
That's awesome sir
Is friction factor Coefficient & friction factor same??
Best videos 😘
Thanku sir ,u r the legend
When we have 4 upon a 2 y they don't get cancelled and we have a 2 as a nominater??
Thank u sir
Wrong formula 😡😤
Good stuff
the weiting on the board is not so clear
لو اكوا واحد مثلك بالعراق احنا ابخير
why f/ro = f/2? at least give some explanation
Darcy equation
P/A is know as hydraulic mean depth
👍
Hindi bolo sir
