- I am happy to announce that I am officially part of the 2022 SALLY CREW!! And if you've ever been to Sally Beauty... you KNOW they have a HUGE variety of products / brands so I'm excited to branch out and try a lot of the brands many of you have been asking for. Today I am trying some from Soultanicals and The Doux... let's get into it!

I think you definitely made the right choice in joining the Sally crew instead of Sephora squad. Also, Sally Beauty has quit a few brands that Ulta Beauty doesn't carry, like As I Am, Cream of Nature, Mo Knows Hair, and Zotos. Can't wait to see more reviews from you on some of these lesser- known brands!
I’ve been using the doux for about two years and I love it!!!! I use their one love deep conditioner you can use it as a 3 in one product to detangle cleanse or deep condition. I use it every week and it smells like bubble gum! I love it! I also use the mouse deff and big papa!!
I love The Doux and that their products are meant to produce beautiful results with only 1 product 😍

I love Soultanicals. I think the majority of their products are geared more toward thicker and type 4 hair, so I was a little weary of them as a fellow fine-haired curly girl. BUT they definitely have a few products that I LOVE. Pretty much any of their deep conditioners are amazing, but I'm also obsessed with their Slip N Slide Hair Glide as a detangler and leave-in. And since you like some crunch with your gel, I think you'll really like the Fro'zen Drip & Grip Supa Hold Gel. It's like a non-overly-chemicaled version of Wetline. Recommend!
Just the NAME of that gel makes me want to run to the store!!!!
The Fenugreek dc from Souktanicals helps with shedding and great on the scalp. Love the hibiscus hair healer to. Both of those help the scalp
I just bought the Doux mousse can’t wait to try!! I’d love a full Soultanicals wash day , As I am , and the all about curls line is really good! Want a video on that!

The Soultanicals Afrotastic Curl Elastic Deep Conditioning Treatment is a all time favorite for me. I wish they would sell it in a bigger container. Yeah the the Doux gel with the mousse is good combo (but soft hold). Last time I used them I use the gel after the mousse.
Yea I had to get the bigger container when they offer salon sizes 🤩
I found the Doux mouse at target if you can't find it at Sally's. I like the mouse but I did have to add gel because of stubborn fly aways at the top of my head. My trouble spot!

@@lngislgirl Recently our Walmart have been selling Camille Rose and Mielle… At least we have few online beauty supply stores where we can products .. Things are getting slowly better

Congrats on the Sally Beauty collab...Black Curl Magic💗...Cheaaa I started using Mousse Def about a year ago...on the recommendation of my sister in law...LOVE LOVE LOVE it! Most recently I've tried the Doux Crazy Sexy Curl Honey Setting Foam from their "Bee Girl" collection. While it IS thicker & heavier than the regular mousse...it IS DOPE for those of us with chronic dry hair...leaves curls supa dupa defined and SHINY like a brand new penny!!! When I want "big" hair, I use the one reviewed in this video and for "tighter" curls, the Bee Girl one. Run, don't walk....get it!!!

My curly hair stylist recommended the Doux Mousse over two years ago and I been hooked ever since. I pair it with the Dippity-Do gel and have the best results. My hair has great volume and well defined curls.
Do you do the mousse first then the gel.? Or the opposite.?

Ok girl I know your low porosity but I need some deep conditioners and styling products for high porosity! bought the entire The Doux line and had to give it away to my friend with thicker hair and type 4. I'm 3c with fine hair. The doux was way too heavy for my hair. I tried it in so many ways too. Glad it worked for you though I can tell they make quality products.
The “All about curls” line! I’ve only tried a few products from the range but I’ve enjoyed all of them. Next in the list is the mousse 😁
Please please please do more soultanicals reviews. Most girls on RUclips who use the brand have 4a-4c hair so I don't have the best idea of how it will work on my 3b-3c hair. I'd love to see a wash n go with the soultanicals leave ins/ detanglers and a gel.
Other brand you can review include: Mielle, As I Am, KeraCare
I have been using the Doux since 2018 and Absolutely Love. Yes I tried the Soul taxicabs deep conditioner a few years ago and was impressed.

I'm looking forward to trying the mousse. I haven't been able to get one to work well for me except Mielle pomegranate and honey with hold. No other mousse works or holds my high porosity, very fine, 3a,3b hair. I can't wait to see if this can be a quickie for me! I would love a nice slap it in moisturizing mousse and go product for a change. High porosity is no joke, high maintenance.
I’ve been using Soultanicals for years now, and they are second to none when it comes to deep conditioners (especially the ones with the Ayurvedic herbs 🌿). Shipping is a drag, but they are worth the wait! Good 👍🏽 video! Take care 😘
I wear a wash and go daily and Mousse Def has been been one of my top staples for the past 2 years. I can’t go without it!
I tried the mousse with the dippity do gel. (I couldn't find the Doux gel at my store, they only had the curl cream.) It worked well. I have fine 3b curls. It did leave my hair feeling dry, but I'm happy to have definition back in my hair. Right now I'm having a hard time finding balance anyway, because of the fine texture the creams are too heavy and the oils leave me greasy. So I am appreciative for these videos!

I bought the curlsmith in style shower gel & cream after seeing your one video and omg I NEVER HATED a product SO MUCH. It was like putting glue in my hair! My hair did not like it😭😂
I had problems with it too. I had to put a defining cream first and used a little of style gel. It turned out better. I don't used it much but trying to find ways to finish it up.
@@lngislgirl I tried with 2 different creams. It was a horrid experience. My hair felt like glue
@@justjessasmr i wasn't a fan either. I don't like the new curlsmith frizz and humidity spray that just came out. Does nothing for my hair. My son's curls aren't as spirally as mine. I might have him try it. Have you tried the Ouidad advanced and humidity gel. I found it at TJ Max and Ulta. I really like the hold. I made it to day three. It's 90 where I am today so hair is up.
@@lngislgirl and I know people say “ give it a few tries” I tried it twice 2 different ways. It was like glue and my hair was like flash drying. And YES! I am currently using the whole Ouidad humidity control line!!!! That’s what I was using but just decided to give the curlsmith a try. Loving Ouidad lately! The stronger hold gel and cream are great!
I am new to my curly hair journey so I am on curly product overload. I haven’t tried those products yet but definitely looks promising especially since it’s affordable. Thank you for the review! I will be looking forward to trying them. Happy maternity leave! Enjoy 💜

A few months ago I switched to Mousse Def Texture Foam for my wash and go and I love it. I use more mousse than you did and found the hold was great and lasts 5 days. I part my hair in 4 sections and then in half. No more product buildup and costly products.

You have to try the can’t believe it’s knot butta, knot sauce, and the frozen drip and grip from soulltanicals…….. I had consistent amazing results every time
I love that soultanicals deep conditioner. All of their deep conditioners are amazing. I haven’t tried those products from the doux but I’ve tried others and am excited to try these. I’d love to see you try the Kera care gels or some taliah waajid products
I’ve been using Soultanicals for over 2 years thanks to Franchelli. So happy you’re finally posting them. They are amazing ❤❤❤ You should try Fran’s old Soultanicals routine. It has worked wonders for me and the gel hold is amazing 😉 it’s the video & routine that had me addicted, I nearly have all their products!!!
This mousse is so moisturizing that I can use it in place of any conditioner. Which is great because I'm chronically ill and in pain a lot and get physically exhausted easily.
Yes, the curls are indeed poppin!💜 I haven't tried Soultanicals products yet, but I keep saying that I will. The Doux Mousse Def is my favorite one-n-done mousse for my WnG so far. It does give shine and all that it says, but my favorite thing about it is how quickly it drys. It even helps my gel to dry faster when I add just a couple of pumps over the gel. Although it isn't necessarily a negative, I will say that I feel as though I always need to do a double shampoo after using it to be certain it is completely out of my hair. That's so funny that you say it has a light hold. For my hair, it has a medium hold. I like to shake the bottle before using it, because the foam feels a little different and seems to come out better when I do that.

@@pattiphillips155 I applied the mouse first then UFD I sat under the dryer for 30. My hair is thin. It was fully dried. It lasted for a week

I was excited about the doux but some of their stuff has silicones the one thing I bought so I didn’t know if all of the stuff did or not, so I’m hyped your trying it.
I can’t try the brand because they use silicones. I didn’t know they had some without it.

Soultanicals is really good, but most their products are always sold out at the sallys near me. But i like they doux for my daughter, works great.
I have not heard of Doux, but I have heard of Soultanicals. Excited to try them both and the Quidad gel after that review also!
When you do the Soultanical‘s video you have to try the can’t believe it’s not butta, literally life changing!
I just starting using mousse def and it's by far the best product I've ever used. I live in a very humid climate and I'm still sitting here with a day 5 wash and go. I used the mousse alone and it is very moisturizing. I did have a crunch but I simply used oil to break the cast.

I need to try the Doux! I’ve been sticking to curlsmith lately but I did pick up raw sugar leave in conditioner and their hair mask they are silicone paraben and sulfate free try those

For the millionth time, congrats! I'd love for you to review the Raw Sugar line. I love the mango DC, but haven't tried anything else from them... And I might have to retry this mousse again on my healthy hair. Cause before I did my Chop, I tried it and it was so drying, maybe this is better with healthy hair 🤔
