Well, if you're like me, you're jumping into the Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer beta and you've had your fair share of some bad games. It happens but how can you do better to improve in this game? Despite being very familiar, it still may have a bit of a learning curve for you so today I wanted to run down some general tips here for the beta and how you can end up improving your game in a handful of simple tips. I love this beta unlike the current cod. Team mate footsteps are way too loud and that what causing us to shoot our own team not the visibility. Love that there's no smoke and limited campers.
The spawns are the only thing that are very bad in the beta. That and the footsteps from your teammates being loud like the enemies is so loud. If they fix those it would be awesome

god I hate how other people have to wait a whole week that shit makes no sense betas back in the day have always dropped for everyone the same day and ends on the same day
They absolutely need to adjust the TTK. It should not take half a clip to kill someone. (Mind you, I had several people on my team in the beta complaining about the same thing)
The guns were......okay. Mostly everyone was running strikers.
It honestly feels like og MW and I love it. Just some adjustments and it’s solid

Imo from someone who’s played since cod 4. I definitely think CoD has expanded a lot. Let’s be honest, I think the whole improvement to movement over the years has been quite nice. It’s great we have red dots back and they should stay, as well as ninja being a perk. (The basics) I think if we went back to MW2 styled gameplay (2009) or cod 4 it’d play way too slow and people just don’t have the attention span for that anymore. I’m looking forward to be playing the beta on PC.
Def looking forward to it on Xbox, I’m excited to experience the of maps reimagined the continuation of the mw3 campaign an never did I think I’d be saying mw zombies that an rebirth island resurgence coming back next year
The deadzone testing feature is actually really cool. Good on them for coming up with that

That game feels like a fast battlefield game. This game feels like a fast old school modern warfare game. I mean this wholeheartedly might be the best cod this side of black ops 2. Been playing cod 17 years. This game has “the formula.”

Is anyone else having a problem winning gunfights? Its almost always the case I get 3-4 shot on target first then the enemy mows me down in a blink of an eye even though I already shots them 3-4 times

What I’m struggling with is in 9/10 games my opponents appear to have a better TTK. It’s like I’m playing core mode and they are hardcore. Any ideas how to get over this? I can usually more than hold my own but it’s really putting me off playing anymore.

Could be your own internet, the game also doesn’t have the greatest hit detection right now, could be multiple issues. It’s not just you tho

Looking at videos of gameplay I can definitely see mw3 is a massive improvement over mw2. But I honestly don’t really think it’s worth full price. Maybe when I get my hands on the beta I’ll think differently. Also why is there like a mix of vanguard and some infinite warfare type sights and stuff? Seems a little weird for a modern warfare game
Umm..B/C its Sledgehammer for 1,...second,did you question there being "Red Dot Sigbts" as a whole in Vanguard?? In all seriousness it's all COD. That said having a wide variety of attachment styles,some seemingly similar to those from the various past COD titles regardless of ERA is a good thing in the grand scheme of things. As stated in a previous video,the "Elo sight" featured in Infinite Warfare was a great sight and I too am excited to have it as an optic choice. And you must remember,we'll also have access to all attachments we had in MW2022 as the weapons will be carrying over.

Best button swap is switching R3 and X. Pressing on the stick makes you jump. No back buttons needed

Played on a friends PlayStation, can’t wait till the 12th to play on Xbox. Love a lot of the game, but visibility and some spawns need to be fixed

Im hyped for this game. The movement,gun sound,visual recoil.... everything feels so fluid.
Step 1 should have been to be on controller as showcased by your very first kill and the heavy aim assist that went away after you got the kill causing you to continue aiming where the enemy was running towards

@@soliderack I get it. But they've been using the same engine. 2019 and MW2 are good examples of how changes can feel when you make a new game. But this? Every aspect of the HUD is the exact same except they changed it to blue

@@AwesomeRandomVids Forget the hud. Been playing call of duty 17 years. This is the best game this side of black ops 2. Last years game felt like a battlefield game. This one feels like an old school modern warfare game. A real cod game. In your hands it feels like the old modern warfare 2 with updated mechanics added on. I have to laugh at some of these comments I’m seeing but I get that a lot of them will be from kids. For people around my age (28) this is one of the most insane things I can ever remember happening in gaming. This game has that old school formula everybody thought was dead and buried. I’m not joking when I say this is one of the best ever call of duty games.
Everything I've been watching or hearing about mw3 sounds pretty good so far. I would be lying if I said I wasn't stoked for the beta

For core modes, the original amount of health was already enough. Plenty for those who weren't good at the game that needed another second to react to being shot at.
This just goes to show that they're babying the casuals, now the experienced players need to work harder. Ridiculous.
150 health literally means the casuals need to hit more shots to win gunfights. Which is literally the opposite of babying casuals lmao
Espresso tip # 17. Don't worry about ever playing the objective. Regular pawns will do that for you.
Depends on my crew I'm playing with, honestly. If I'm solo, I trust my gun skill enough to clear the objective and make way for teammates but often times I can't drag my team across the finish line for a W doing it all myself. If I'm playing with my normal squad, I'll jump on hill and won't focus on kills as much - was averaging 2.5 - 3 minutes in the Hardpoint hills this past weekend playing with them haha
It's nbd, I get it. You need to put up the good footage anyway. Being a sacrificial meat shield sitting on an objective doesn't make for good content. Its a common theme amongst you fancy, high level creators @@eColiEspresso

You seriously saying you can't tell how bullet spongey some of the gunfights are?? I personally think there need to be some tuning to the body multipliers specifically upper torso neck and head. 4 shots to kill when you include a headshot is kinda ridiculous to me.

Better be able to use MW2 ammo types on mw3 guns as far as tracers purchased. They need to expand on the usability of purchased and unlocked tracers, ammo types and attachments.
MW3 has its own ammo types that are very similar to MW2 ammo types just named differently. its quite frustrating

Is it just me or is anyone experiencing an issue where you unlock attachments for weapons and you can’t equip them even after maxing out the weapon level or is there a way around it to fix it
Yep. My sniper attachments are not unlocking as I level it up. Oh, crap. Just realized, from what Espresso was talking about, maybe you've gotta unlock them on another weapon first. If that's the case, it's the opposite of what they've been saying about unlocking them for one unlocks them for all that can use it.

i need help whenever i am at enemies it like the aim assist isn’t even working but when i go to mw2 i almost drop a nuke did they nerd aim assist or is something up with my setting?

Im normally playing on PC, but I also have a ps5, so i can play the beta now, but the controller is handicapping me so hard xD

then take your mouse and keyboard from your PC and plug them both into your PS5 via the USB ports on front and back of your console
all modern CODs (after bo4) work with MnK on console natively

Sometimes I feel like aim assist is too strong and sticky like I’m locking onto kids with barely any effort or skill and then teammates look too much like enemies at times it’s hard to differentiate
I'm enjoying the beta so far. My biggest issue so far is I can't tell who is a friend or foe and cronus zen player are everywhere. I feel like there is a zen player in every lobby. Went against a while team using them today and it was so infuriating.
And you know this for a fact? Some good players can control recoil very well
A lot of people also have mouse and keyboard that works for PlayStation so. If you are playing on controller with the slightly nerfed aim assist it might seem like a bigger aim gap when seeing someone whose good at controlling recoil with a mouse.
im not saying there's no cheaters because i have no idea what thats like in mw3 at the moment but some of them might just be cheeky keyboard and mouse abusers. which will seem even better because there is no Xbox or PC players to play against.
As far as I know the anti cheat system recognizes that Cronus Zen crap.
And also recoil is easy to control in this game.

The gun designs look pretty ugly in my opinion. Why does a multi billion dollar company not buy the rights to use actual real life gun names like they did in the first few cod games?
Same reason why need for speed games doesn’t have doors blowing off of cars anymore. Believe or not car manufacturers don’t like their product being shown getting smashed up. Same sort of premise as gun manufacturers. They don’t want to have to deal with the hassle, when little Jimmy goes and smacks up a school with a MAC10. Yeah you can say but this game has this and that game has that. Those games aren’t call of duty.

I just went from 22/8 kd in one match to 6/19 kd the following match in TDM. Beyond frustrating. It felt like EOMM nerfed me

You red dot people have no chance against me. I don’t even look at the gameplay. I simply chase red dots and fire my trigger. Gameplay screen is not needed.
What about visual recoil compared to shooting seizure in MW2?
pretty much every gun in mw3 is a no recoil laser beam, im here for it.

I hope they remove the multi levelling up weapons to gey attachments its not fun compared to Warzone 1, where you just fully levelled up a weapon and get all attachments
They should remove teammates footsteps, keep thinking my teammates are the enemies. And I can’t see the difference between my teammates and the enemies. And bunny hop need to come back and faster shooting after slide cancel, and mw2019 the reason we slide cancel was to regain the tacksprint, to move faster it need to be change back to how the 2019 was
The refreshing of tac sprint was a big that IW was too lazy to ever correct... bunny hopping is one of the lamest things to become a part of COD gameplay. The fact you rely so heavily on broken mechanics speaks volumes to the type of player you are SMFH. 🤷♂️🤦♂️🤷♂️🤦♂️
