Enjoying the game, hit detection seems a little off, my biggest issue is not being able to distinguish between team mates and enemies, when running and gunning
I’m enjoying the beta so far! As someone who played the original maps back then, it was kinda cool being dropped into the maps and then having that “oh yea!” moment and remembering the layouts

SBMM is HEAVY even in the beta. No matter how good the game is it is RUINED by the sweatiest lobbies. You 2-3k/d player? Have fun playing with only 3 kd players. So fun. 😢.
I know it’s an unpopular opinion but I’m excited for the game. I did play MWII a decent amount and had some fun, but this does look to play and feel better, along with being able to play all the OG MW2 maps!

Search and destroy is in the beta because it's becoming a more popular game mode. There is alot of search and destroy content creators now. It was in the MW2 beta too. I am so happy it's going to be in weekend 2! Can't wait to play it!!
Honestly with how Sledgehammers CoDs usually turn out, if they were just a dedicated "year two" studio for CoD where they make a bigass expansion based off the more recent games, that'd be fine with me.
MW3 plays better then MW2, but i have a few points: - The colors are less vibrant than MW2, it almost feels like there is a grey haze over the screen, they should really let those colors pop more. - The grey intro to every match feels weird, i don't like it at all. - It's difficult to distinguish teammates from enemies, and the visibility of enemies is not that great, because there is so much grey everywhere

I was hesitant about this game because I wasn’t big on how vanguard turned out but to be completely honest, sledgehammer has won me over with improved gameplay decisions and more responsive feedback. I was not looking forward to this game but so far I’m pleased and cannot wait for the full release and along with that all the potential the next 6 dlc seasons has to offer. I have a good feeling about this year but we shall see

The textures and the way objects blend together in the ground war map seem super unfinished. Seems like they just plopped a bunch of stock assets down and said good enough
I am happy to play the multiplayer it seems like there doing the same approach as the og mw3 which was basically fixing and balancing mw2 and to be honest yeah it works out well because infinity. Ward is good at making a game look good but sledgehammer makes it play good so well done
No they don't. The og mw3 was a massive step down from mw2 and the lag comp and terrible hit detection destroyed what could have been a great game. OG mw2 is an infinitely better game than mw3.
You can get the cor 45 pistol now. Its the default when you change your vest. I dont know what its called. Swap out the vest that gives you 2 primary weapons

It’s probably because it’s through the exact same engine. Basically is an update/DLC. I think warzone is gonna be the main focus this year round again since they can’t change much due to the engine.
I honestly hate the shoot first and die first bs and having to deal with all these sweats in the beta the movement is great but dam the games I have been playing is like if I’m in a high competition just to earn nothing
Enjoying the beta so far..some maps better than others...good that Rust will be back. I think this is obviously an improvement over current game. Glad some old school mechanics are back as well. We will see the flushed out game soon enough and looking forward to that.
I hate to be that guy but the optics look old rather than modern. Maybe it’s just me but it reminds me of like WWII optics. Plus i have a question, are we finally going to get the Bal-27 or ASM1 as new weapons this year because man have i been wanting some AW throwbacks
Accidentally found a glitch. The gunner vest doesn't say, but it gives you overkill - 2 primaries. If you unequip the vest the pistol slot will default to the not-yet-unlockable COR-45. Try it out, maybe it was a fluke for me. :p

U get some of those weekend two weapons with the vault in week 1 I use the longbow all the time 40 bullet perfection and the shotguns semi automatic and week
Infinity Ward made this engine and are way better devs when it comes to graphics and detail... they should just keep enhancing graphics and engines and let tryarch and sledge lead gameplay design... Incase you forgot, sledgehammer last game sucked.. but they look like they're doing a great job at upgrading infinity wards last game

One day they may sort the issues of players blending into the buildings when stood next to them its annoying along with the fact you cant tellif someones a team mate or the enermy your own players running at you shooting its not that hard to get right when making the game . Maps look great i remember the original mw2 and loved the game and cant wait for the full release . But at the same time the game feels abit clunky on the ps4 and talking to friends with ps5 it seems it doesnt feel much better so next weekend could make or break the game for me its either it plays very well on pc or the order gets cancelled

Some of the optics are directly copy-pasted from Vanguard, like the Slate Reflector and Nydar, so maybe that's why.

MW3 feels so much better. It doesn’t feel like you’re running on sludge. Pistols are pretty weak. That’s my only gripe. Weapons feel like Black Ops 2.
