    Плюсы видны.
    Скажу о минусах:

      Exactly, I'm in Croatia and I'm looking for a good lathe to buy. You need space and first of all electricity. This smells not total amateur but the glass fiber job was horrible, and you dont weld like that. Also need a table because of future health problems, knees, back everything. Also this is quite dangerous floater, a wave and your "boat" cracks and the cracks cut your lims. Really? Safety? Not? Lol.

I built an electric car using a 12v battery but the motor was much bigger than shown here and it was only 1/3 hp drawing approx 30 amps. I would love to know where this guy got his motor! Were the drive shaft bushes rubber? Maybe graphite filled ptfe. Well done and bravo young man and your dad.

    Beautifully done. I've owned a boat for fifty of my 78 years. I once owned a Styrofoam sail boat. It was just a "play thing" for use on the nearby lake - fun. Worked well and I often thought about putting fiberglass on it but never got to it. In this case I would shield the pipe, prop and rudder and protect any point where water could get into the electronics. Small gets bigger so I would figure out how to make the wings removable and add more depth. I don't think that would be difficult to do. Not sure how long it runs but the longer the better. I could see these being used competitively on the lake by people everywhere. One becomes many and it doesn't take long for the enhancements to come. Next question, how can I use it to fish out of and troll with? I would have to be able to change the gear ratio of the prop as needed.... Thanks. Nice job!!!!!

    Great job! That thing looks so fun to ride.
    I do wonder if anyone has an idea about why he chose to put those "wings" on his craft (4:00). I can see that they certainly provide extra stability but it seems like on a sharp turn they'd do just the opposite-dig into the water and send the craft spinning and capsizing. I don't think they would do this if they were attached in the opposite direction (pointed parts pointing towards the back).
    I didn't really see any sharp turns made in the video so I don't know if my assumptions are correct.
    I know 0️⃣ about boat design but if anyone has any ideas, I'd love to hear them.

    • @KirelRed
      @KirelRed 2 года назад +3

      If anything, those wings are providing negative force (pushing the craft down) because that design is going to have the craft want to lift out of the water. He could probably add some hydrofoils and that thing would really scream across the water.

      You do know that a full size inboard power boat (even the higher power boats in a lot of race events) don't use bearings on the prop shaft, what they do use is an oil lite bronze composition bushing that uses the surrounding water it's buried in and runs consistently in fully submerged conditions.

    Về mặt thẩm mỹ rất đẹp! Còn chỗ trục động cơ bạn căn chỉnh tí cho đồng tâm chứ hơi rung quá, với lại mấy chỗ dùng dây thít thì khéo chuyển sang dây inox hoặc kẹp cho đẹp với bền hơn :)

    Pretty cool. I'd be tempted to ask you if I could have you build one for me. The only downside is our ocean waters are pretty rough. I wish we could have calm waterways like you have.
