WOW!!
Great design brother . Would make a perfect fishing boat

It's not everyday that you'll see someone with a personal metal lathe in their home in Vietnam. Imagine what he can build if he has access to higher end tools! I love the choice of water cooled electric motor with planetary gearing, custom lathe work and practicality of the bike frame/seat. The rider balance is perfect as well. Incredibly good work on the foam, fiberglassing and wing additions. This is a phenomenal diy and something to be proud of. I personally hope you progress this idea into something more and even a business. Keep up the great work!
This is a wholesome comment but I'm not sure how you know the lathe was in their home. People like this will go to their friends or industrial shops to use the high end tools that they don't have.... well that's what I do anyways.
What an odd thing to do Mr. Dover - copying and pasting another person's comment word for word. Do your parents, Mrs. En Dover-End and Mr. Cliff Suv Dover know that you steal words?
he already have a business with his channel, over 10M views man! The income from this must be staggering! Else you might reach out to him and teach him what to do... 😅
dont see planetary gearing here
Never been to Vietnam. I'd be the last one to know.

*Very impressive build and result!* I love the choice of water cooled electric motor with planetary gearing, custom lathe work and practicality of the bike frame/seat. I personally hope you progress this idea into something more and even a business. _Keep up the great work!_
And to my untrained eyes, he seems to look like he knows a lot of tips and tricks in doing what he's doing...👌
Didn't he locked the gearing and made it direct drive?
Thank you very much, I will learn from you and do better!
If someone hasnt already picked up the young man for his talent...he will be...Excellent work and creativity.
@Jesus is coming. Read the Gospel. Delusion. The definition is - believing things which are not true.

A real genius and engineer!
That thing looked really stable in the water! It took off like a...spaceship! I really enjoyed watching you build it and you are clearly very smart at designing and building water-based vessels. Looks like a lot of fun!
This guy can build a speed boat with scrap, while NASA can't go back to the moon with all the billions and trillions of money they spend... Something is fishy in there...

O cara é foda!
Just love your planetary gearbox to high speed motor set up ! You seem to have a good match to your propeller . I think your power to weight ratio could get you up on hydrofoils. You are very clever and i think you could come up with something awesome ! keep up the good work.
ive seen a bunch of videos of guys like these building watercrafts on hydrofoil also
@@jeroekoe & did they weld without eye protection as well?
It doesn't seem like there would be much to gain from foils. He's pretty close to operating on a foil when he's on plane as it is.
@@teabagmcpick889 hahahaha yeah well i guess in some countries they are still behind conserning safety regulations. here in the netherlands you can not even get a job in construction if you dont have the basic safety certificate (called the VCA over here, that tell everything you need about personal protection equipments etc)
tho i must say i have worked with men that were vetarans in construction and among them also guys that grind whole blocks of stone without ear-caps or glasses either.... that like the most stupid thing to do because only the sound of that already hurts your ears, let alone you can feel the pieces of stone flying against your face
Плюсы видны.
Скажу о минусах:
That tiny wake left behind it shows it is very efficient and low drag.
Nice build.
Where did u get the motor from and whats it normally used for....and capicotors
Thank you very much, I will learn from you and do better!
👍👍👍💯 Крутая лодка! Только одно нужно добавить в конструкцию - мотор с редуктором на демпферы поставить, чтоб на всю конструкцию исключить вибрацию!
I’d have to spend a month under your tutelage to grasp the entire process and to actually feel comfortable doing this on my own. You’re brilliant.
It's not everyday that you'll see someone with a personal metal lathe in their home in Vietnam. Imagine what he can build if he has access to higher end tools!
Exactly, I'm in Croatia and I'm looking for a good lathe to buy. You need space and first of all electricity. This smells not total amateur but the glass fiber job was horrible, and you dont weld like that. Also need a table because of future health problems, knees, back everything. Also this is quite dangerous floater, a wave and your "boat" cracks and the cracks cut your lims. Really? Safety? Not? Lol.
i doubt that he has a lath of his own. look at where and how he propped up his canoe. probably get them done at a local machining shop.
this guy ia good 👍.
@@nokia5359 I agree 👍💯
@@martinavrdoljak6030 this guy is not at all well finan ed for what he is doing. Safety is not something he can afford, sadly. He does what he can.

hard to believe this small motor is so strong !
6 kW = about 10 hp. Obviously a brushless model plane or quad type motor and lithium ion battery. That is why human carrying quads are actually possible.

I just love the improvisation of tooling used in this build, as well as the shape!😁👌👍👍
Looks like fun. Reminds me of when I used to build R/C model boats as a teenager.
Muito bom, genial!!!
Parabéns!
Very nice little boat.

An excellent water craft for very low wave bodies of water. Very stable and comfortable ride with great visibility.

That's a great job putting this all together and a great boat. I starting watching thinking it was a DIY project, but very few of us DIYers have a lathe like the one used at the 6:15 mark. It's great engineering and skill putting this together!

Nice build. Pretty awesome seeing this on calm waters but now I want to see how it fair on ocean or sea with such waves.
That hull is not designed for waves. Water would flood the engine bay and/or flip the vessel.
That is sooo cool!! My friend 😎 👍
Thank you so much!
Bardzo fajny projekt :)
I'm very impressed by the way you built this one of a kind boat using basic tools. I especially like the way you used your welder as a way to carve the foam. Very smart guy. The bike frame was perfect for the build.🤙🤙. The performance was was awesome. Have you ever thought of using hydrofoil technology on one of your boats? That would be awesome to see you build. You are very smart and dedicated to your craftsmanship. Keep up the great work that you are doing. Love watching your videos 🤙🤙
A lathe is not a basic tool just saying
That boat is hydrofoil.

Твои руки из золота! С любовью из России.
I'm speechless seeing you build this amazing product. Awesome design and fun to use in the river or lake. I really enjoyed watching this video. Good luck bringing this boat to the market. I would buy it! 👍
Very good and excellenf.
Beautifully done. I've owned a boat for fifty of my 78 years. I once owned a Styrofoam sail boat. It was just a "play thing" for use on the nearby lake - fun. Worked well and I often thought about putting fiberglass on it but never got to it. In this case I would shield the pipe, prop and rudder and protect any point where water could get into the electronics. Small gets bigger so I would figure out how to make the wings removable and add more depth. I don't think that would be difficult to do. Not sure how long it runs but the longer the better. I could see these being used competitively on the lake by people everywhere. One becomes many and it doesn't take long for the enhancements to come. Next question, how can I use it to fish out of and troll with? I would have to be able to change the gear ratio of the prop as needed.... Thanks. Nice job!!!!!

Top demais, parabéns pelo seu ótimo projeto !!!!
What this boat needs in V2.0 is a short boom off the bottom, with a horizonal stabilizer/wing, so that once you're up to full speed you lean back and balance the boat up onto the hydroplane wing. Then you could go about twice the top speed, if you felt like it. That would be an exciting ride too since you've already got your body motion inputs figured out, because he's built this boat around a bicycle frame. That's perfect then all he has to do is consider front-to-back weight distribution, and he could actually turn this craft into a hydroplane craft.
I think the point here is not to have to spend 10K lol, and rather what you can do with a few household items!
@Dominic It would if you didn't make the prop shaft longer.
it just needs a cup holder and a ice chest.
fuck yea!!! A cup holder and an ice chest.

If the boat could be stored upright on the back of a US truck or car with 2 wheel carrier it could create a new market niche as Honda did with their early Scooters. Very nice!
