@ I agree. They focused too much on “showing” the magic stuff versus “telling.” Arcane is fundamentally a story about people and how they interact with others and the institutions that influence them. Plus, I’m a sucker for useless/ hopeless lesbians and bisexuals.
"Sometimes taking a leap forward means leaving a few things behind", there is reason episode 7 repeated that line several times. It's not just about Ekko leaving behind a timeline that was an objectively happier future, the theme of that episode was about letting go of the past and learning to forgive past transgressions. It's also not an accident that Jinx has the same hairstyle as her other self when Ekko meets her again and convinces her not to take her life. It's symbolic. Both versions of Jinx are taught by Ekko that the past does not need to dictate their future, but in order for that to be the case they need to be willing to let go of it. Episode 8 is called "Violence is a Cycle", where Jinx realizes that in order to escape her repeating patterns of self destruction she needs to learn to step away from it and that's the choice she makes. She tries to kill herself at first because she thinks that in order to break the cycle, she has to end her story, because she doesn't think she can take her future in a direction that doesn't lead her right back to making the same mistakes she made in the past. Ekko teaches her that she CAN in fact change, and I think Ekko succeeds here because unlike Silco and Vi, Ekko has known her pretty much her whole life and isn't telling Jinx she is perfect the way she is, and or trying to convince her that Jinx never changed in the first place, Ekko knows her past and her present but in spite of that ALL THAT still BELIEVES who she is today has the capacity to become someone better, and for the first time in her life Jinx is in a mental state where she is willing to try and take that "leap forward". That's why I think Jinx is alive but doesn't tell anyone, she is ending the cycle, she is leaving the past behind. She has died again, she is giving Vi a clean slate, in the same way she is giving herself a clean slate by leaving Piltover.
I literally can not get enough of the tiny detail that Vi is shown entirely without her usual defenses here. No gauntlets, no gloves, no bandages, no plated boots, no hood or jacket. Just Vi in all her vulnerable beauty. Safe, warm and keeping herself company with beautiful memories instead of crippling guilt and regret. Best of all: the woman she loves is there to share it all with her.

I think she is mulling it over, whether she should tell Vi that there is a possibility. False hope is dangerous and could hurt Vi. Also she is probably not so sure that Jinx wants to be searched for.
Jinx was on that airship. There was no reason to highlight that ship. Also, season 1 episode 1, one of the first shots shows Powder looking at an air ship saying "One day I'm going to fly one of those things". Final scene of the 2nd season shows that exact airship, flying in the same direction, with no context. All the clues are there if you look closely enough.
Although it's sad that Caitlyn lost her eye, she really does look cool with that eye patch. It's also sad that the Arcane is over now. I really enjoyed this show 💯🔥😥

"Are you still in this fight?" means "Are you still struggling with all that guilt and your inner fight?" and Vi's response is bittersweet and a little bit evasive but "I am the dirt under your nails. Nothing's gonna clean me out" means "Right now, all that matters is that I love you and I'll never gonna let you go".... I'm sobbing ....It's so poetic
@agnesinez1387 I was hoping for a lovely, "1 year later", and a picture of them two at their wedding looking cute with wedding rings on, but hey, Riot Games isn't with that yet. Although, one of them basically confirmed that they are both lesbian and are both in love with each other. And yeah, I saw her response of "I am the dirt under your nails, Cupcake. Nothings gonna clean me out." I thought was more along the lines of "All that matters to me right now is you and I will never let you go." Which either way is just as sweet and the first time, in a non-descript way, that Violet says what she really feels for Caitlyn after all that time. Caitlyn is shown beautifully allowing Vi to rest on her shoulder and has emotions in her eyes. It could be as simple as "Oh, she really really loves me." OR it means "I am going to marry this woman someday." Maybe if they did a season 3, it could be skipping about 2 years later, so at that point they'd be about 26 and 27. I don't know, I just have a vision of Vi surprising Caitlyn on her birthday with that classic top hat of hers and them being still together and happy, but before Vi can propose to her, some things have happened in their lives but are still going very strong, and they are then locked in saving the world again.

Also, I didn't pay enough attention to Cait's nonverbal response but your interpretation of that gaze seems super accurate to me, even though at the end I notice some sadness in her eyes. @@steinsgate514 i think vi would wear the wrappings cuz there was always uncertainty of her getting into fights and needed to punch her way to safety and survive everyday. so ig with the end of the war, the need for fighting diminished for vi and she could break free from that past and be happy with cait in the present and future.
Except Caitlyn was literally violent to Vi, showing she is violent and cruel when stressed. Caitlyn's character was a betrayal to who she was in Season 1. This is not a good ending, because why should we celebrate Vi being back with someone who hit her when upset? That's the language of abuse.

I truly like this final scene which is also really symbolic bc it might be the first time for Vi taking off her arm wrap and Cait finally having her personal cloth (Cait always wears uniform or what people have she wear since S1). I think it's quite precious that means they eventually can be "settled down" on each other, relieved, putting down their burden. Anyways, the show is absolutty my fav one in my entire life!
@patriciahsu4937 I would also say that Vi being on Caitlyn's shoulder and cuddling into her, physically and emotionally, means she trusts and cares about Caitlyn now more than ever. It's basically domestic bliss without the marriage part. Yet. They might eventually get there because the execs and writers have said that Cait and Vi are soulmates and are both lesbian, but don't outright ask each other the sexuality question because they just don't have time to care. I hope one or both of them make a special guest appearance in the spinoff. All has to do with where Hailee and Lucy are at by then with the characters because they both seem pretty happy with where the story ended. Now, if in a years time, they announce that there will be a season 3, and by the end Cait and Vi still don't wind up married, I AM going to be a bit pissed. I like this peace and quiet, and openness they show, and the comfort they have is beautifully shown. With Cait asking her, "Are you still in this fight, Violet?" Then Vi, so smooth now that she has her lesbian swag and is happy (possibly, partially because of all the hot sex and aftercare), says " I am the dirt under your nails. You never can get rid of me." Meaning, that she wants to both be in the search still AND assures that she indeed still wants to be with Caitlyn. Add to the fact one of the showrunners and writers basically said that they are lesbians and are in love with each other. I for one am for a third season as long as they don't do what they did here in season 2 again. They'd have to find a way to get them fully, you know, married.
One cute detail that I like is that in episode 8 when Vi and Caitlyn were talking, Cait only had one arm chair in that room, and now there’s two. She made sure that Vi can fit into every aspect of her life because that’s how much she loves her.
Notice Cait's eyes... from happiness to sadness. And then love, straight to pure anxiety, and then finally to determination. She's deep in love. Vi's eyes just go from sad straight to comfort and love. Comfort in just one phrase and movement. She's commited. Find me a better couple. I dare you. The guys/gals who wrote this scene have wounds on their heart. This felt way too real.
I think making Caitlyn a dictator for a while left a bad taste for many, now everybody is about Ekko and Jinx when they literally tried to kill each other , the "universe" Ekko went was too good to be true, and worst , everybody blamed Vi for everything because she was the only one dead in that universe, and JInx still have the stones with her, so sooner or later something would happened.
Definitively a turn of events that many of us didnt like, but Cait was basically forced into it because shes a Kiramman and had to lead a conflicted and broken council, but she also was blinded by her hate for Jinx at the moment, blaming her for everything. But feelings wise, she turned against Ambessa fast when Vi came back in her life, I think she realized pretty soon that she was being led into the dictator role pretty much since the beginning and just had no way out - or "with whom" precisely. Can't say much against the alternate universe episode, with what we have seen from it, Jinx did really change in that timeline, I think if something would happend, having Ekko by her side it would have been something good there. I really would love a spin off just seeing Jinx being happy and helping The Lanes. I think we all learned from this series that there are no bad or good guys, it's just a matter of perception and circumstances.
0:09 saw this from another comment in their argument scene but it’s such a nice detail that Cait gave Vi her own chair by the fireplace. Originally there was only one (hers) and far from the fireplace but now that Vi is back, there’s two and they’re both close to it. Almost as if Vi coming back gives her warmth and comfort. God I love this show and hidden symbolism
If I've learnt anything from watching shows and reading comics is that if I don't see a body, that character isn't dead. So in my brain Jinx escaped through the air ducts and is riding that ship to her happily ever after just like she said in season 1.
Well, now the CaitVi couple is official canon, and I congratulate everyone on that! This scene means even more to me than the 18+ scene in the cell, here it shows that they now live together and care about each other!
Yeahhhh! Someone pointed out on BlueSky that there's a reason why Cait is looking at the vent blueprints for the Hexgates while holding the monkey's head. My guess is they never found her body, and Cait being the amazing detective she is, has reason to believe she made it out alive. Plus, there's a scene with the crow finding the gemstone so maybe she was able to use it to protect herself from the blast somehow.

Think about it: from day one, Cait always called her Vi, even in situations where the full name would have been more appropriate, like when Cait introduced Vi to her parents or the council, or even to Ambessa in their betrayal scene. Even Maddie only knew her as Vi when she first found her and formally introduced herself. So Cait probably never knew Vi was short for Violet. Maybe because Vi is guarded about her full name. It's what her family called her, in a time when life was still beautiful, so she probably keeps her name close to her heart.

If you look closely at the explosion inside the hexgate tower, you'll notice a purple flash zipping into what is revealed to be the vents. Safe to say that Jinx zipped away as the grenade went off.
I actually had more anxiety about going into Act 3 for nothing more than what happened between Cait and Vi. Seeing the end of Episode 3, and then the whole Maddie issue at the start of Episode 4 affected me WAY more than I ever imagined it could. I literally spent a WEEK obsessing over it!!! Thank god for Episode 8, and knowing that they made it together!!!!!!!
I never had such heartpain. Like fck the Piltover, let Vi be happy for second :-D she was the only one who had to bear loss after loss after loss. Everybody had their fair time of happyness after S1 act I. (jinx with silco, jayce, mel etc.) And Vi? she was cca 7 years in prison then 4 days happy - kinda, then S1 E9 happens 3 -7 days (funneral, memorial, hunt with enforcers ) and then? 1 kiss, break up and 7 months in Pit :-D gotta make appointmen for cardiac screening after this 14 days before Ep 8 :-D
@@Kozioooo I believe it's actually 5 days of happy, and them being chased around, then Selco dead and Jinx destroying the Counsel building as well as her mother, a few days go by with the funeral, her vowing to get Jinx for that, and then the breakup happens about 2 months into their search for Jinx, since Cait knows she can't be with Vi and be distracted by her influence. THEN, it's another 4-5 months they are apart before they, in part thanks to Vi's dad, Vanter, get back together. I was laughing when they showed that Caitlyn was NOT handling the breakup from Vi well at ALL and was using Maddie as a distraction. I did like her honesty toward Vi and then Vi saying she didn't give an f. I think she would definitely care about her love from before seeing someone else, even if only for a month or two. Vi saying to her "I am the dirt under your nails, Cupcake. Nothings gonna clean me out." Meaning to me, "I know you are in love with me and that's okay because I am with you too. You can't ever get rid of me because we are here to stay." That's what I think about that and I like the idea of a third season, but maybe this one stretched out to 10 episodes so we can have a two-part conclusion and that we all the bases would be covered in a honest and slower way. Also, the title song for the intro "Enemy" by Imagine Dragons so fits for Caitlyn, Jinx, and Vi's dynamic. The whole shows soundtrack got me back into a few new, great punk and rock bands. Season 1, Jinx is mad and jealous and sees Caitlyn as a monster and trickster, trying to get her sister from her, then season 2, we see Jinx become something of a rally cry for most of the underground and her being depressed about her sister. With isha gone, she has nothing left to live for. Ironically Jinx is first to call Caitlyn Vi's "little girlfriend" in season 1 and a monster. Not so far from the monster Caitlyn eventually becomes in season 2 midway through, she takes up this leadership position and distracts herself from Vi with Maddie. I wonder if she was calling out someone else's name while with Maddie. That would've been awkward. And then it turns Cait into a monster when Jinx kills her mother. We see her balancing her family legacy and wanting more than just being royalty. Being seen as an equal to Vi and the underground. I think she finds that at the end with Vi, who is basically saying "I know you love me and I love you, so don't you worry because I am not going anywhere." Vi is that one who gives her that balance of family and love and acceptance for all of her new scars and old. This would be a possible vision for a Season 3, it has been 3 years since the ending events, Cait and Vi are still happily together, but that soon changes when Vi wants to talk about making it "real", it already is official and real, but this making it a real marriage. I see it as, they have some attacks and some real bad guys show up stirring up trouble. Maybe that vampire, whatever his name is, comes in and stirs up some trouble. They have to investigate, but then they get separated along the way from each other before they reunite with each other and face the threats together. While balancing their expectations in themselves and their relationship, for possibly more progression to something even better (i.e. marriage), they are also struggling to figure out how to save the world and make Piltover/ Zaun better when the bad guys come in. That's how they could play a third season. That's at least my fan vision of that season 3. Different faces, and different obstacles that Vi and Caitlyn have to get through, before getting out the other side together. Or, really truly leave it at this ending and have this being the beginning of their happiness and working together to solve crimes and beat bad guys. Fine by me, I like this happy ending. On-screen, after this scene, it does say "the end' which means it probably is the end of this Arcane chapter for us, but like Caitlyn said, it is not the end for all of them. I think they could've totally planned for a third season, but they ran behind schedule in this season so they probably all feel a bit burned out.

The sisters' arc is far from finished and will likely be completed in the next project. For this reason, the wait becomes even more agonizing. Caitlyn says, "Our story is not over," as she continues searching for Jinx. Meanwhile, Jinx survives and heads toward Ionia (this can be inferred from her morning flight, with the clouds illuminated on the right side). The next major event in the storyline will likely be the war between Noxus and Ionia. It’s also worth noting that Swain's raven takes the hex crystal from Jayce's hammer. The only person in the region who could potentially understand hextech technology is Jinx. Swain’s ravens have been following Jinx throughout the entire Arcane storyline, subtly hinting at a deeper connection to her fate. I’m certain Swain is deliberately directing Jinx to a location where capturing her will be easier.
Have you noticed that in the alternative universe Powder/Jinx is happy, but without Vi. In canon Vi, she lived happily with Caitlyn, but without Jinx. It turns out that sisters can only be happy apart...
Episode 7 is pretty messed up, when you think about it. The writers seem to love torturing Vi. Her father dies, she is imprisoned for years, her sister is mentally scarred, her partner is abusive and smacks her with a gun when she pleads for help, she is beaten up in pit fighting and then, to cap it all, episode 7 says, "Hey, if Violet LITERALLY DIES then every single other person is happy and the war is over and all is well."
@@HorizonOfHope Somewhat yes, but in other ways, the sisters are more like fire and ice, and the lovebirds are more like sunshine and rain at first, then in season 2, the roles are reversed, Cait is rain and lightening, we see this budding romance but then is cut by Cait because she believes being away from Vi means she doesn't worry about the influence of her, but then falls into bed with Maddie. This time, though, Maddie is the one being used by Cait except she doesn't mind unlike Vi. Cait knows that. And it makes her also wonder how and where Vi is. It's a long 4-5 months apart, but when they get back to each other, they are CaitVi again instant that Vi calls her cupcake. Maybe she loves Vi because of her good heart and pretty face, or her muscles and tattoos, or her hard-headedness, or even her love for those she cares about. Maybe she loves her because of her natural talents in bed, sex can help a relationship. All of those could be truths and are true, we know those are reasons why Cait falls hard, but she has this wall early-on due to the pain of losing her mother and doesn't heal right. Being apart was necessary and even needed for both of them to realize how much they love each other. They are weaker apart than together, and when they work together I was hoping Cait would get ripped into about how much Vi still cared and loved her even when she tried to not. But I like the later conversation between them in the office where Cait admits that Vi was right about Abessa. Then they have makeup sex. And this scene finalizes their calmness and comfort around each other. Vi responding to Cait's question by basically saying "I know you are in love with me, and I feel the same way. You can't get rid of me ever." Finally, they are both in a place together, literally and metaphorically, where they are happy with each other and have found a safe place and space with one another. I just wish they would fast-forward in time again and had them "tie the knot" so to speak.
Vi literally went from rags to riches. She grew up in poverty and now she gets to rest in a mansion that belongs to one of the most powerful women in piltover
i just got an arcane marathon from season 1 today. and i have to say, it make the final 3 eps 10 times better. I think the 2 seasons were meant to watched continuely
@@Rul12 It is all over the place, and Cait and Vi are especially all over the place, but you have so many characters you have to zero on that makes it hard to follow. But, when I was able to focus on Vi and Caitlyn more than the others, that means they did something right because they got me invested for the relationship and ending. They are both in a happier place than when they first found each other. With scars, new and old, they are able move past all that. I like the ending, but I would love to see a third, trilogy chapter, added to this specifically for Vi and Caitlyn to be more well written, not because of a breakup but because of the bad guys that break them up, and then it becomes about Caitlyn, with her fancy new top hat she receives as a birthday gift from Vi, goes to hunt down her new fiancée.
She’s 100% going to end up in whatever region the next show focuses on. Imagine having a punk bomber character in somewhere like Demacia, it’d be hilarious.
I was thinking Bilgewater? We see a lot of water in the final scene. If i’m correct Bilgewater is an island so… Also she would fit in with the pirate themed guys there.
I wish Ekko and Vi had a conversation at the end. Maybe Ekko telling her the alternate version he saw. Poor Ekko mourned by himself. Him and Vi were close so suprised they had no scenes together in act 3.
@AutumnRose1397 Yeah I heard that they tried, and while they wanted to make it an hour long for the finale, I do hope at some point that they bring back at least Caitlyn if not both of them. Maybe have them have a wedding scene where they get married. That would be really sweet.
Jinx, you really are one persistent girl. I'm glad that she survived that explosion, but you know what, she deserves this. It is better for everyone to believe that she is gone and she can start a new life.
Caitlyn has been shown to act violently in moments of anger or stress. What happens if vi were to make her angry again? Would you let someone you love stay in a relationship after finding out their “lover” hit them in their stab wound when they got in an argument? I would hate to see how Caitlyn acts towards vi after returning from a stressful day of work.
The prison vision of Silco said to Jinx that the cycle ends when she finds a will to walk away. Right before the explosion you can see pink shimmer trail at the top right corner, Cait obviously looking at Hexgates airducts whilst holding monkey bomb head, an airship flying somewhere far away - Powder said she will ride in one of those things. Too many hints that Jinx is alive, just walked away
@anabrans2 That's a lot to unpack in only 3 minutes. I love how content, after all the stuff they dealt with this season (and in the last year together in the timeline) with the breakup and fallout and makeup sex in the bunker that housed her little sister not even 20 minutes earlier, lol. Oh, and saving Piltover and Zaun again. Then acknowledging their affections together. Basically, it's a double-edged question, and a double-edged answer by Vi. One asking if she is okay with Caitlyn. And the other saying how happy she is and that she knows she won't ever leave Caitlyn behind. Cait here is looking like a badass warrior survivor. I wish they would continue this series but I like the ending they gave them. I'm just selfishly wanting Riot Games to pull it together for one last series with these two and have it be more about Vi wanting Caitlyn and wanting to marry her but not taking it too fast. Then by the end of it, after another super bad threat to their lives that has them yet again separated from each other for a few weeks, and then brought back together with some new and some familiar faces. Then they ride off into the sunset together with a marriage. I am all for a happily ever after ending. I guess this is as close as I'll be able to get to seeing them, one day, get married.

@@thatoneguy6315 I agree, also watching a watch show with Amanda Overton (Co-director) and she was answering Q&A questions, one of them asked if these characters would make a showing in any other shows they're gonna do and she said she couldn't share that information but Katy Townsend (Maddie Voice actor) said she knew that answer to that question as she heard people talking about it during the after party of the live premiere of the finale. She was smiling while saying that... so that gives a pretty big hint we might see these characters again.

Caitlyns suspicious that Jinx may have survived and escaped through the air ducts. However, she withholds this information from Vi. She's too tired of hating her to arrest her, and she can't confirm her survival without being absolutely sure. She's probably letting her go, even though she may never really forgive her. As broken as Vi is (losing Vander and her sister for good), she's choosing to live her life with Caitlyn. Even without specifically saying "I love you," she confirms her love for Caitlyn and is in it for the longhaul. Finally, I forgot in s1e1, powder said she wanted to fly in the flying ship. And the ending is showing a flying ship going out to some far away land, indicates that Jinx is alive. Likely has left Piltover/Zaun to find her peace and discover her real purpose for her life. She won't find it in Piltover/Zaun and she and Vi can't be a family unit. As much as they love each other, there's too much damage and most likely will be tension with Caitlyn. Even though she's letting Vi and Caitlyn be together, she believes she can't be in the picture due to the damage she has done. I know Arcane is over, and they're expanding with the story with Mel returning to Noxus, we probably won't see much of Vi, Jinx and Caitlyn in that particular continuation. I do hope, however, the more they continue, maybe we will see something regarding them. Also, hope to see Jace again. I know he's in some cosmic realm with Viktor, but I hope he returns.
I think Jinx's alive 100%. It's like Schrodinger's cat. The creaters wanted us to experience an epic heartbreaking moment but they left little hints of her survival like that pink flash. So they could hook us for the future projects about the most popular character.

Cait is looking at the schematics of the gate while playing with Jinx’s bomb because she knows she escaped and wants to understand how. Jinx is probably in the airship that flies away at the end, because in season 1, she said that she wanted to fly in one. The flash of Jinx’s drawing adds to that. All scenes have a purpose in this show.

Before the explosion goes out in ep 9 (where jinx is falling with warwick) , you can see for a split moment pink lightning, while the other lightnings of the bomb are blue, which means that she probably ran fast (cause of shimmer) and survived. Otherwise why is cait looking at vents in the hexgates?
We've seen multiple times, how her eyes leave a light trail when she speeds up with power of shimmer. I hope she gets to explore entire world with her mighty new ride.

Jinx's "death" was a serious blow for Vi. She hums her mother's song and drinks away the pain. Caitlyn, tries to help her with the search. The last scene shows that Vi doesn't believe her sister is dead. This is demonstrated in the dialogue between Vi and Caitlyn. Caitlyn asks, "Are you still in this fight?" (trying to find sister), and Vi replies, "Nothing gonna clean me out" (I can't change - I'll keep looking, like before). And of course, it’s no coincidence that Caitlyn is looking over ventilation schematics and fiddling with the head of the monkey grenade that Jinx detonated. It’s the same monkey, as one of the nails hammered into it has the same red mark.
Actually, the discussion can be interpreted slightly differently. In the French version, for instance, Caitlyn asks "are you still with me in this?" (whatever "this" is : rebuilding Piltover and Zaun? Surviving grief?) and Vi gives the same "dirt under your nails" answer. I believe that Caitlyn suspects that Jinx is alive, and she holding that info back for the moment so to not give false hopes to Vi. But I really think that Vi is just processing life without her sister, without the constant quest to rescue her, save her, protect her. Now, she focuses on Caitlin, because she chose to, and not out of guilt or a sense of responsability.
@@Arallax This is pretty close to how I saw it too, except with the last part it could be interpreted in a multitude of ways. We see them both fully comfortable and calm with each other here. Like Jinx said, don't feel guilty over loving her just do it. I know they've said it is almost unlikely they will do another season, I do wish they had a third season coming in 2-3 years, where they really build up off of scenes like this one and the softer moments, between all the fast-paced, action-packed fighting. Maybe if they did a season 3, not likely even, but just saying if they did and they were serious about the two of them, maybe they have that season build off these peaceful moments and then have Vi seriously going to propose to Caitlyn, and by the end of it, they close off with Vi and Caitlyn getting married. This is how I envision the fictional season 3: First episode establishes that about two years have passed since the events of the war, Caitlyn and Vi are still working together and solving crimes. Vi is wanting to propose but doesn't know if she should or if Caitlyn would even accept. She gets her dad's permission, and is about to do it but then stops herself and hides the ring in her pocket. That becomes important later on. I'd like it to be her internal debate, while Caitlyn wrestles with her own inner struggles. That Jinx is alive elsewhere and will come back when she is ready to. That could all be taking place in the first two episodes. Also establishing where the others are at. They celebrate Vi's birthday with a nice little party that gets interrupted by a, at first, seemingly random attack on Vi and Caitlyn, but after dispatching them, they then realize might be more serious then some rogues. They decide to investigate the next day who might be behind the attack. Meanwhile, you've got Sevika dealing with her own issues in the underground and being a member of the counsel now. Ekko is off moping around because Jinx is gone. Vi also doubting if she should propose to Caitlyn and not knowing if she'll say yes, but just when she's about to, they have an unwelcomed guest from the underground. That could be anyone they could think of who has a vendetta against Cait and Vi. It could be Briar who is introduced. Giving them all a warning. Then, at the end of arc one, it could be revealed that Vi was their target and they, with the aid of some beasts, take her away. Leaving Caitlyn to have to find her. The city is attacked and Caitlyn is off to look for her girl, while the city is overrun by criminals being led by revealed to be Camille behind it in a want for more bodies and control. A pursuit of perfection. As I selfishly want to see Rengar show up in Zaun hunting a monster, I'd stick him in the thick of it and since he is a monster hunter, he encounters Vi when she has been tortured and withheld any food or water, and Vi has been taken by this monster and a few other bad guys stirring up trouble. Rengar dispatches them and the beast very quickly. They form a reluctant team and have to fight their way out of the hell hole they find themselves in. Final arc could be them all rallying once more to stop a large threat and one that pushes them all to their limits. In Camille and her cybernetically enhanced monsters trying to bring down the establishment. To create chaos and disassemble the establishment. They have a big fight with all sides involved. At the end, the ring that was in Vi's pocket this whole time falls out and Caitlyn sees it. She then confesses her unwavering love for Caitlyn. THEN the end. Of course, it's implied that they are forever, but who knows without the wedding scene.
Arcane is all about being subtle and for character's thoughts and feeling to be represented by the animation -- facial expressions, cinematography, lighting, setting. We knew that Jinx was devastated by Isha's passing so what would a mention have added?
Well atleast it ended on neutral...it doesn't end good or bad. 10/10 ending...it foreshadows that there might be another series that is slightly connected on Arcane (Maybe a cameo of Jinx? We may never know).
Seeing that Jinx is everyone favourite character, in the ranking, it would be more than a cameo, and seeing there is another war in the horizon, it would be a lot work for mercenary Jinx and friends.
Jinx started the song and now Vi ends with this song...crazy cycle. I love this ending scene so much. vi and Cait finally safe with each other. No battle uniform only a hot turtleneck and vi even barefooted, no bandages around her hand. Means so much to see them just cuddling and giving love and warmth to each other after all the shit they have been through. Sad that Cait has lost one of her beautiful eyes but she is alive, already happy with it ❤ also with violin (Violin 😜) background sound makes everything so emotional. Now that arcane is finished...all there left is a whole...and I'm supposed to fill it? 😂 Thank god people are making fan videos😂
The last scene, where Vi puts her head on Cailyn's shoulder on 0:56, looks like Caitlyn has a parrot on her shoulder. Caitlyn looks like a pirate with the eye patch. Anf then I had to laugh again when that flying ship came at the end. Oh wow, I've never had such a flash of laughter😂😂 I think it has something to do with what LOL character the next series is about.

"Sometimes taking a leap forward means leaving a few things behind", there is reason episode 7 repeated that line several times. It's not just about Ekko leaving behind a timeline that was an objectively happier future, the theme of that episode was about letting go of the past and learning to forgive past transgressions. It's also not an accident that Jinx has the same hairstyle as her other self when Ekko meets her again and convinces her not to take her life. It's symbolic. Both versions of Jinx are taught by Ekko that the past does not need to dictate their future, but in order for that to be the case they need to be willing to let go of it. Episode 8 is called "Violence is a Cycle", where Jinx realizes that in order to escape her repeating patterns of self destruction she needs to learn to step away from it and that's the choice she makes. She tries to kill herself at first because she thinks that in order to break the cycle, she has to end her story, because she doesn't think she can take her future in a direction that doesn't lead her right back to making the same mistakes she made in the past. Ekko teaches her that she CAN in fact change, and I think Ekko succeeds here because unlike Silco and Vi, Ekko has known her pretty much her whole life and isn't telling Jinx she is perfect the way she is, and or trying to convince her that Jinx never changed in the first place, Ekko knows her past and her present but in spite of that ALL THAT still BELIEVES who she is today has the capacity to become someone better, and for the first time in her life Jinx is in a mental state where she is willing to try and take that "leap forward". That's why I think Jinx is alive but doesn't tell anyone, she is ending the cycle, she is leaving the past behind. She has died again, she is giving Vi a clean slate, in the same way she is giving herself a clean slate by leaving Piltover.

I literally can not get enough of the tiny detail that Vi is shown entirely without her usual defenses here. No gauntlets, no gloves, no bandages, no plated boots, no hood or jacket. Just Vi in all her vulnerable beauty. Safe, warm and keeping herself company with beautiful memories instead of crippling guilt and regret. Best of all: the woman she loves is there to share it all with her.

Jinx was on that airship. There was no reason to highlight that ship. Also, season 1 episode 1, one of the first shots shows Powder looking at an air ship saying "One day I'm going to fly one of those things". Final scene of the 2nd season shows that exact airship, flying in the same direction, with no context. All the clues are there if you look closely enough.

I thought was more along the lines of "All that matters to me right now is you and I will never let you go." Which either way is just as sweet and the first time, in a non-descript way, that Violet says what she really feels for Caitlyn after all that time. Caitlyn is shown beautifully allowing Vi to rest on her shoulder and has emotions in her eyes.

I don't know, I just have a vision of Vi surprising Caitlyn on her birthday with that classic top hat of hers and them being still together and happy, but before Vi can propose to her, some things have happened in their lives but are still going very strong, and they are then locked in saving the world again.

Except Caitlyn was literally violent to Vi, showing she is violent and cruel when stressed. Caitlyn's character was a betrayal to who she was in Season 1. This is not a good ending, because why should we celebrate Vi being back with someone who hit her when upset? That's the language of abuse.

I truly like this final scene which is also really symbolic bc it might be the first time for Vi taking off her arm wrap and Cait finally having her personal cloth (Cait always wears uniform or what people have she wear since S1).
I think it's quite precious that means they eventually can be "settled down" on each other, relieved, putting down their burden. Anyways, the show is absolutty my fav one in my entire life!
@patriciahsu4937 I would also say that Vi being on Caitlyn's shoulder and cuddling into her, physically and emotionally, means she trusts and cares about Caitlyn now more than ever. It's basically domestic bliss without the marriage part. Yet.
They might eventually get there because the execs and writers have said that Cait and Vi are soulmates and are both lesbian, but don't outright ask each other the sexuality question because they just don't have time to care.
I hope one or both of them make a special guest appearance in the spinoff. All has to do with where Hailee and Lucy are at by then with the characters because they both seem pretty happy with where the story ended.
Now, if in a years time, they announce that there will be a season 3, and by the end Cait and Vi still don't wind up married, I AM going to be a bit pissed.

Meaning, that she wants to both be in the search still AND assures that she indeed still wants to be with Caitlyn.
Add to the fact one of the showrunners and writers basically said that they are lesbians and are in love with each other.
I for one am for a third season as long as they don't do what they did here in season 2 again. They'd have to find a way to get them fully, you know, married.

One cute detail that I like is that in episode 8 when Vi and Caitlyn were talking, Cait only had one arm chair in that room, and now there’s two. She made sure that Vi can fit into every aspect of her life because that’s how much she loves her.

The guys/gals who wrote this scene have wounds on their heart. This felt way too real.
I think making Caitlyn a dictator for a while left a bad taste for many, now everybody is about Ekko and Jinx when they literally tried to kill each other , the "universe" Ekko went was too good to be true, and worst , everybody blamed Vi for everything because she was the only one dead in that universe, and JInx still have the stones with her, so sooner or later something would happened.
Definitively a turn of events that many of us didnt like, but Cait was basically forced into it because shes a Kiramman and had to lead a conflicted and broken council, but she also was blinded by her hate for Jinx at the moment, blaming her for everything. But feelings wise, she turned against Ambessa fast when Vi came back in her life, I think she realized pretty soon that she was being led into the dictator role pretty much since the beginning and just had no way out - or "with whom" precisely.
Can't say much against the alternate universe episode, with what we have seen from it, Jinx did really change in that timeline, I think if something would happend, having Ekko by her side it would have been something good there. I really would love a spin off just seeing Jinx being happy and helping The Lanes.
I think we all learned from this series that there are no bad or good guys, it's just a matter of perception and circumstances.

Originally there was only one (hers) and far from the fireplace but now that Vi is back, there’s two and they’re both close to it. Almost as if Vi coming back gives her warmth and comfort. If I've learnt anything from watching shows and reading comics is that if I don't see a body, that character isn't dead. So in my brain Jinx escaped through the air ducts and is riding that ship to her happily ever after just like she said in season 1.
You're not off the mark. During Jinx's supposed death scene, you can catch a glimpse of a small shimmer line dashing away from the explosion.

Yeahhhh! Someone pointed out on BlueSky that there's a reason why Cait is looking at the vent blueprints for the Hexgates while holding the monkey's head. My guess is they never found her body, and Cait being the amazing detective she is, has reason to believe she made it out alive. Plus, there's a scene with the crow finding the gemstone so maybe she was able to use it to protect herself from the blast somehow.

Think about it: from day one, Cait always called her Vi, even in situations where the full name would have been more appropriate, like when Cait introduced Vi to her parents or the council, or even to Ambessa in their betrayal scene. Even Maddie only knew her as Vi when she first found her and formally introduced herself. So Cait probably never knew Vi was short for Violet. Maybe because Vi is guarded about her full name. It's what her family called her, in a time when life was still beautiful, so she probably keeps her name close to her heart.

I will take comfort in the belief that there is a universe out there where Powder and vi live happily with all their loved ones.
SHE HIT US WITH THE VIOLET! Ugh, I love this scene. What a banger of an ending line.
If you look closely at the explosion inside the hexgate tower, you'll notice a purple flash zipping into what is revealed to be the vents.
Safe to say that Jinx zipped away as the grenade went off.
I actually had more anxiety about going into Act 3 for nothing more than what happened between Cait and Vi. Seeing the end of Episode 3, and then the whole Maddie issue at the start of Episode 4 affected me WAY more than I ever imagined it could. I literally spent a WEEK obsessing over it!!!
Thank god for Episode 8, and knowing that they made it together!!!!!!!

I never had such heartpain. Like fck the Piltover, let Vi be happy for second :-D she was the only one who had to bear loss after loss after loss. Everybody had their fair time of happyness after S1 act I. (jinx with silco, jayce, mel etc.) And Vi? she was cca 7 years in prison then 4 days happy - kinda, then S1 E9 happens 3 -7 days (funneral, memorial, hunt with enforcers ) and then? 1 kiss, break up and 7 months in Pit :-D gotta make appointmen for cardiac screening after this 14 days before Ep 8 :-D
@@Kozioooo I believe it's actually 5 days of happy, and them being chased around, then Selco dead and Jinx destroying the Counsel building as well as her mother, a few days go by with the funeral, her vowing to get Jinx for that, and then the breakup happens about 2 months into their search for Jinx, since Cait knows she can't be with Vi and be distracted by her influence. THEN, it's another 4-5 months they are apart before they, in part thanks to Vi's dad, Vanter, get back together. I was laughing when they showed that Caitlyn was NOT handling the breakup from Vi well at ALL and was using Maddie as a distraction. I did like her honesty toward Vi and then Vi saying she didn't give an f. I think she would definitely care about her love from before seeing someone else, even if only for a month or two.
Vi saying to her "I am the dirt under your nails, Cupcake. Nothings gonna clean me out." Meaning to me, "I know you are in love with me and that's okay because I am with you too. You can't ever get rid of me because we are here to stay."
That's what I think about that and I like the idea of a third season, but maybe this one stretched out to 10 episodes so we can have a two-part conclusion and that we all the bases would be covered in a honest and slower way.
Also, the title song for the intro "Enemy" by Imagine Dragons so fits for Caitlyn, Jinx, and Vi's dynamic. The whole shows soundtrack got me back into a few new, great punk and rock bands.
Season 1, Jinx is mad and jealous and sees Caitlyn as a monster and trickster, trying to get her sister from her, then season 2, we see Jinx become something of a rally cry for most of the underground and her being depressed about her sister. With isha gone, she has nothing left to live for.
Ironically Jinx is first to call Caitlyn Vi's "little girlfriend" in season 1 and a monster.
Not so far from the monster Caitlyn eventually becomes in season 2 midway through, she takes up this leadership position and distracts herself from Vi with Maddie. I wonder if she was calling out someone else's name while with Maddie. That would've been awkward.
And then it turns Cait into a monster when Jinx kills her mother. We see her balancing her family legacy and wanting more than just being royalty. Being seen as an equal to Vi and the underground.
I think she finds that at the end with Vi, who is basically saying "I know you love me and I love you, so don't you worry because I am not going anywhere." Vi is that one who gives her that balance of family and love and acceptance for all of her new scars and old.
This would be a possible vision for a Season 3, it has been 3 years since the ending events, Cait and Vi are still happily together, but that soon changes when Vi wants to talk about making it "real", it already is official and real, but this making it a real marriage. I see it as, they have some attacks and some real bad guys show up stirring up trouble. Maybe that vampire, whatever his name is, comes in and stirs up some trouble.
They have to investigate, but then they get separated along the way from each other before they reunite with each other and face the threats together.
While balancing their expectations in themselves and their relationship, for possibly more progression to something even better (i.e. marriage), they are also struggling to figure out how to save the world and make Piltover/ Zaun better when the bad guys come in.
That's how they could play a third season. That's at least my fan vision of that season 3. Different faces, and different obstacles that Vi and Caitlyn have to get through, before getting out the other side together.
Or, really truly leave it at this ending and have this being the beginning of their happiness and working together to solve crimes and beat bad guys. Fine by me, I like this happy ending.
On-screen, after this scene, it does say "the end' which means it probably is the end of this Arcane chapter for us, but like Caitlyn said, it is not the end for all of them.
I think they could've totally planned for a third season, but they ran behind schedule in this season so they probably all feel a bit burned out.
I love how VI is humming the song "dear friend across the river", the same song Powder was singing in the first scene of season 1.
For all of you who said she smiled because of the vents (thinking Jinx escaped) you can now clearly see she smiled after she heard Vi humming.
You know it is a shame there won't be a season 3. But look on the bright side we won't have to endure three long agonizing years waiting for it
it's true, and then riot games lets us know that other series are planned in their program,
and who knows, maybe we'll see jinx or vi and cait again in passing.
The sisters' arc is far from finished and will likely be completed in the next project.
For this reason, the wait becomes even more agonizing. Caitlyn says, "Our story is not over," as she continues searching for Jinx. Meanwhile, Jinx survives and heads toward Ionia (this can be inferred from her morning flight, with the clouds illuminated on the right side). The next major event in the storyline will likely be the war between Noxus and Ionia.
It’s also worth noting that Swain's raven takes the hex crystal from Jayce's hammer. The only person in the region who could potentially understand hextech technology is Jinx. Swain’s ravens have been following Jinx throughout the entire Arcane storyline, subtly hinting at a deeper connection to her fate. I’m certain Swain is deliberately directing Jinx to a location where capturing her will be easier.
Have you noticed that in the alternative universe Powder/Jinx is happy, but without Vi. In canon Vi, she lived happily with Caitlyn, but without Jinx. It turns out that sisters can only be happy apart...
Episode 7 is pretty messed up, when you think about it. The writers seem to love torturing Vi. Her father dies, she is imprisoned for years, her sister is mentally scarred, her partner is abusive and smacks her with a gun when she pleads for help, she is beaten up in pit fighting and then, to cap it all, episode 7 says, "Hey, if Violet LITERALLY DIES then every single other person is happy and the war is over and all is well."

@@HorizonOfHope Somewhat yes, but in other ways, the sisters are more like fire and ice, and the lovebirds are more like sunshine and rain at first, then in season 2, the roles are reversed, Cait is rain and lightening, we see this budding romance but then is cut by Cait because she believes being away from Vi means she doesn't worry about the influence of her, but then falls into bed with Maddie.
This time, though, Maddie is the one being used by Cait except she doesn't mind unlike Vi. Cait knows that. And it makes her also wonder how and where Vi is.
It's a long 4-5 months apart, but when they get back to each other, they are CaitVi again instant that Vi calls her cupcake.
Maybe she loves Vi because of her good heart and pretty face, or her muscles and tattoos, or her hard-headedness, or even her love for those she cares about. Maybe she loves her because of her natural talents in bed, sex can help a relationship.
All of those could be truths and are true, we know those are reasons why Cait falls hard, but she has this wall early-on due to the pain of losing her mother and doesn't heal right.
Being apart was necessary and even needed for both of them to realize how much they love each other. They are weaker apart than together, and when they work together I was hoping Cait would get ripped into about how much Vi still cared and loved her even when she tried to not. But I like the later conversation between them in the office where Cait admits that Vi was right about Abessa. Then they have makeup sex.
And this scene finalizes their calmness and comfort around each other. Vi responding to Cait's question by basically saying "I know you are in love with me, and I feel the same way. You can't get rid of me ever."
Finally, they are both in a place together, literally and metaphorically, where they are happy with each other and have found a safe place and space with one another. I just wish they would fast-forward in time again and had them "tie the knot" so to speak.
Jinx is alive. She escaped through the vent.
It broke my heart the way Vi was humming the tune of the opening scene in s1

Vi literally went from rags to riches. She grew up in poverty and now she gets to rest in a mansion that belongs to one of the most powerful women in piltover
this scene being the ending was honestly relieving, because i thought that the very last scene was going to be miserable but thank god it wasn’t

@@Rul12 It is all over the place, and Cait and Vi are especially all over the place, but you have so many characters you have to zero on that makes it hard to follow. But, when I was able to focus on Vi and Caitlyn more than the others, that means they did something right because they got me invested for the relationship and ending.
They are both in a happier place than when they first found each other. With scars, new and old, they are able move past all that. I like the ending, but I would love to see a third, trilogy chapter, added to this specifically for Vi and Caitlyn to be more well written, not because of a breakup but because of the bad guys that break them up, and then it becomes about Caitlyn, with her fancy new top hat she receives as a birthday gift from Vi, goes to hunt down her new fiancée.

@AutumnRose1397 Yeah I heard that they tried, and while they wanted to make it an hour long for the finale, I do hope at some point that they bring back at least Caitlyn if not both of them. Maybe have them have a wedding scene where they get married. That would be really sweet.
I think in that moment, Caitlyn saw why Vi loved her sister so much when she saw her save her life.

Caitlyn has been shown to act violently in moments of anger or stress. What happens if vi were to make her angry again? Would you let someone you love stay in a relationship after finding out their “lover” hit them in their stab wound when they got in an argument? I would hate to see how Caitlyn acts towards vi after returning from a stressful day of work.
The prison vision of Silco said to Jinx that the cycle ends when she finds a will to walk away. Right before the explosion you can see pink shimmer trail at the top right corner, Cait obviously looking at Hexgates airducts whilst holding monkey bomb head, an airship flying somewhere far away - Powder said she will ride in one of those things. Too many hints that Jinx is alive, just walked away
@anabrans2 That's a lot to unpack in only 3 minutes. I love how content, after all the stuff they dealt with this season (and in the last year together in the timeline) with the breakup and fallout and makeup sex in the bunker that housed her little sister not even 20 minutes earlier, lol. Oh, and saving Piltover and Zaun again. Then acknowledging their affections together.
Basically, it's a double-edged question, and a double-edged answer by Vi. One asking if she is okay with Caitlyn. And the other saying how happy she is and that she knows she won't ever leave Caitlyn behind.
Cait here is looking like a badass warrior survivor. I wish they would continue this series but I like the ending they gave them. I'm just selfishly wanting Riot Games to pull it together for one last series with these two and have it be more about Vi wanting Caitlyn and wanting to marry her but not taking it too fast. Then by the end of it, after another super bad threat to their lives that has them yet again separated from each other for a few weeks, and then brought back together with some new and some familiar faces.
Then they ride off into the sunset together with a marriage. I am all for a happily ever after ending. I guess this is as close as I'll be able to get to seeing them, one day, get married.

@@thatoneguy6315 I agree, also watching a watch show with Amanda Overton (Co-director) and she was answering Q&A questions, one of them asked if these characters would make a showing in any other shows they're gonna do and she said she couldn't share that information but Katy Townsend (Maddie Voice actor) said she knew that answer to that question as she heard people talking about it during the after party of the live premiere of the finale. She was smiling while saying that... so that gives a pretty big hint we might see these characters again.

Caitlyns suspicious that Jinx may have survived and escaped through the air ducts. However, she withholds this information from Vi. She's too tired of hating her to arrest her, and she can't confirm her survival without being absolutely sure. She's probably letting her go, even though she may never really forgive her.
As broken as Vi is (losing Vander and her sister for good), she's choosing to live her life with Caitlyn. Even without specifically saying "I love you," she confirms her love for Caitlyn and is in it for the longhaul.
Finally, I forgot in s1e1, powder said she wanted to fly in the flying ship. And the ending is showing a flying ship going out to some far away land, indicates that Jinx is alive. Likely has left Piltover/Zaun to find her peace and discover her real purpose for her life. She won't find it in Piltover/Zaun and she and Vi can't be a family unit. As much as they love each other, there's too much damage and most likely will be tension with Caitlyn. Even though she's letting Vi and Caitlyn be together, she believes she can't be in the picture due to the damage she has done.
I know Arcane is over, and they're expanding with the story with Mel returning to Noxus, we probably won't see much of Vi, Jinx and Caitlyn in that particular continuation. I do hope, however, the more they continue, maybe we will see something regarding them.
Also, hope to see Jace again. I know he's in some cosmic realm with Viktor, but I hope he returns.

I think Jinx's alive 100%. It's like Schrodinger's cat. The creaters wanted us to experience an epic heartbreaking moment but they left little hints of her survival like that pink flash. So they could hook us for the future projects about the most popular character.

When there is no Jinx, the series is not interesting for me at all That scene where Vi was falling down with Warwick, my heart was racing, I would have preferred Vi to die but Jinx not to be hurt, but bravo to the producers who gave it the best ending. Both sisters lived and started a new life
@aPerson78A I have to say that Ella Purnell has done incredible job to make us fall in love with Jinx. I just hope they continue the series. They said Arcane's story has ended but League of Legends has many storylines, they will surely adapt another and Jinx will be back. Besides, the show has a massive audience and Netflix wouldn't wanna lose that

@@PujaMccyol Jinx ? She isn’t. It’s heavily implied in the last scenes. Cait is looking at the schematics of the gate while playing with Jinx’s bomb because she knows she escaped and wants to understand how. Jinx is probably in the airship that flies away at the end, because in season 1, she said that she wanted to fly in one. The flash of Jinx’s drawing adds to that. All scenes have a purpose in this show.
@@PujaMccyol , Jinx did not die in the end and survived. Based on the scenes shown at the end, I guess this and I am sure that Jinx escaped and the points shown show this, otherwise why would Caitlin look at that monitor and the ways Possible escape of Jinx

Before the explosion goes out in ep 9 (where jinx is falling with warwick) , you can see for a split moment pink lightning, while the other lightnings of the bomb are blue, which means that she probably ran fast (cause of shimmer) and survived. Otherwise why is cait looking at vents in the hexgates?

We've seen multiple times, how her eyes leave a light trail when she speeds up with power of shimmer. I hope she gets to explore entire world with her mighty new ride.

Jinx's "death" was a serious blow for Vi. She hums her mother's song and drinks away the pain. Caitlyn, tries to help her with the search.
The last scene shows that Vi doesn't believe her sister is dead. This is demonstrated in the dialogue between Vi and Caitlyn. Caitlyn asks, "Are you still in this fight?" (trying to find sister), and Vi replies, "Nothing gonna clean me out" (I can't change - I'll keep looking, like before).
And of course, it’s no coincidence that Caitlyn is looking over ventilation schematics and fiddling with the head of the monkey grenade that Jinx detonated. It’s the same monkey, as one of the nails hammered into it has the same red mark.
Actually, the discussion can be interpreted slightly differently. In the French version, for instance, Caitlyn asks "are you still with me in this?" (whatever "this" is : rebuilding Piltover and Zaun? Surviving grief?) and Vi gives the same "dirt under your nails" answer.
I believe that Caitlyn suspects that Jinx is alive, and she holding that info back for the moment so to not give false hopes to Vi. But I really think that Vi is just processing life without her sister, without the constant quest to rescue her, save her, protect her. Now, she focuses on Caitlin, because she chose to, and not out of guilt or a sense of responsability.

@@Arallax This is pretty close to how I saw it too, except with the last part it could be interpreted in a multitude of ways. We see them both fully comfortable and calm with each other here. Like Jinx said, don't feel guilty over loving her just do it.
I know they've said it is almost unlikely they will do another season, I do wish they had a third season coming in 2-3 years, where they really build up off of scenes like this one and the softer moments, between all the fast-paced, action-packed fighting.
Maybe if they did a season 3, not likely even, but just saying if they did and they were serious about the two of them, maybe they have that season build off these peaceful moments and then have Vi seriously going to propose to Caitlyn, and by the end of it, they close off with Vi and Caitlyn getting married.
This is how I envision the fictional season 3:
First episode establishes that about two years have passed since the events of the war, Caitlyn and Vi are still working together and solving crimes. Vi is wanting to propose but doesn't know if she should or if Caitlyn would even accept.
She gets her dad's permission, and is about to do it but then stops herself and hides the ring in her pocket. That becomes important later on.
I'd like it to be her internal debate, while Caitlyn wrestles with her own inner struggles. That Jinx is alive elsewhere and will come back when she is ready to.
That could all be taking place in the first two episodes. Also establishing where the others are at.
They celebrate Vi's birthday with a nice little party that gets interrupted by a, at first, seemingly random attack on Vi and Caitlyn, but after dispatching them, they then realize might be more serious then some rogues. They decide to investigate the next day who might be behind the attack.
Meanwhile, you've got Sevika dealing with her own issues in the underground and being a member of the counsel now. Ekko is off moping around because Jinx is gone.
Vi also doubting if she should propose to Caitlyn and not knowing if she'll say yes, but just when she's about to, they have an unwelcomed guest from the underground.
That could be anyone they could think of who has a vendetta against Cait and Vi.
It could be Briar who is introduced. Giving them all a warning.
Then, at the end of arc one, it could be revealed that Vi was their target and they, with the aid of some beasts, take her away. Leaving Caitlyn to have to find her.
The city is attacked and Caitlyn is off to look for her girl, while the city is overrun by criminals being led by revealed to be Camille behind it in a want for more bodies and control. A pursuit of perfection.
As I selfishly want to see Rengar show up in Zaun hunting a monster, I'd stick him in the thick of it and since he is a monster hunter, he encounters Vi when she has been tortured and withheld any food or water, and Vi has been taken by this monster and a few other bad guys stirring up trouble. Rengar dispatches them and the beast very quickly.
They form a reluctant team and have to fight their way out of the hell hole they find themselves in.
Final arc could be them all rallying once more to stop a large threat and one that pushes them all to their limits. In Camille and her cybernetically enhanced monsters trying to bring down the establishment. To create chaos and disassemble the establishment. They have a big fight with all sides involved.
At the end, the ring that was in Vi's pocket this whole time falls out and Caitlyn sees it. She then confesses her unwavering love for Caitlyn. THEN the end. Of course, it's implied that they are forever, but who knows without the wedding scene.
The way isha wasnt even mentioned once in the arc😭
Arcane is all about being subtle and for character's thoughts and feeling to be represented by the animation -- facial expressions, cinematography, lighting, setting. We knew that Jinx was devastated by Isha's passing so what would a mention have added?

Isha was all over Jinx blimp and makeup. She was the hero of Zaun Isha wanted.
Well atleast it ended on neutral...it doesn't end good or bad. 10/10 ending...it foreshadows that there might be another series that is slightly connected on Arcane (Maybe a cameo of Jinx? We may never know).
Seeing that Jinx is everyone favourite character, in the ranking, it would be more than a cameo, and seeing there is another war in the horizon, it would be a lot work for mercenary Jinx and friends.

Jinx started the song and now Vi ends with this song...crazy cycle. I love this ending scene so much. vi and Cait finally safe with each other. No battle uniform only a hot turtleneck and vi even barefooted, no bandages around her hand. Means so much to see them just cuddling and giving love and warmth to each other after all the shit they have been through. Sad that Cait has lost one of her beautiful eyes but she is alive, already happy with it ❤ also with violin (Violin 😜) background sound makes everything so emotional. Now that arcane is finished...all there left is a whole...and I'm supposed to fill it? 😂 Thank god people are making fan videos😂

The last scene, where Vi puts her head on Cailyn's shoulder on 0:56, looks like Caitlyn has a parrot on her shoulder. Caitlyn looks like a pirate with the eye patch. Anf then I had to laugh again when that flying ship came at the end. Oh wow, I've never had such a flash of laughter😂😂
I think it has something to do with what LOL character the next series is about.
