i have one of these stoves best stove i have ever had nothing slides around or falls over like the round ones do. there is one warning to people tho that are thinking of getting one do dont shake the gas bottle to much or turn it upside down or you will end up with a fireball out the stove so BE CAREFUL guys bivvys are not fire proof and neither are you stay safe

Yea very true mate. That's the only thing I've found with it. But great stove and havin the double version opens up more stuff for cookin on the bank

Great stove love mine takes up no room
The stove looks big which means more stuff to take. On the plus side the big stove head might be beneficial in the winter ?
icarp angler be more beneficial if had a pre heat system for winter use
It’s bigger for sure, but more stable I’ve found, I haven’t noticed the extra weight this spring/summer since using it but do tend to leave the other head in the van until needed, the double head will come into its own in thplace winter when making those big meals when you need stability and power for the pans
If there’s one thing I would have liked it would have been a pre heat for sure

Hi Leon good review, what was the price of it all in ,quite expensive I'd think ,tho I'm well happy with the terra hiker u put me on too ,thanks mate 😀
its i believe £39.99 for the single head and £89.99 for the dual head, its at the upper end cost wise for a stove, the Terra Hiker and the Bulin which i have both of are briliiant little gas stoves, wouldnt be without mine although havent used either for a while as wanted to give the ridgemnonkey one a proper testing

How about the size in these days of scaling everything down?
Yes it’s quite big and a lot heavier than a normal stove but I personally like the stability
Doesn't look as good as the colemans! don't think i use another one after buying a coleman after watching your review 👍🏻
Coleman’s are the daddy of all stoves for sure! But for gas then this is an option
Had dual stoves main stove leaked gas after four uses. Ridgemonkey very disappointed with after sales service

Yes for sure, only had it a few month so far so good but want to test it in the winter
Just debating getting 1 myself just looking for a long term review
That was back in March from memory and still been using it, it’s done well, not had any issues with it and quite like it because so sturdy, I’ll do a long term review in the winter

How much and is it worth the money?
It’s £39.99 to £89.99 and is it worth the money that all depends on the user and his experience with it, so far I quite like it, I’ve yet to test properly in winter but looking forward to not having my pans slip off when it’s -3 outside and loosing my dinner and the ability to cook a proper meal from one gas bottle

It’s an honest review, I’m still using it now, but I take your point, if someone who works for Ridgemonkey or is a sponsored/team angler then I’d agree
