Hi everyone, I was back in Doha for just a couple hours last day. Fell free to join me walking in the Hamad International Airport this year 2023 in Doha, Qatar.
Hamad International Airport (IATA: DOH, ICAO: OTHH) (Arabic: مطار حمد الدولي, Maṭār Ḥamad al-Duwalī) is an international airport in the state of Qatar, and the home of Qatar’s flag carrier airline, Qatar Airways. Located south of its capital, Doha, it replaced the nearby Doha International Airport as Qatar's principal airport.
The airport is named after the previous Emir of Qatar, Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani. Hamad International Airport became the first Middle Eastern airport to be awarded the Skytrax's World Best Airport for 2021 in the 2021 World Airport Awards, ending the 7-year dominance of Singapore's Changi Airport.
A new central lobby, The Orchard, was opened at Hamad Airport in Doha for the World Cup. It is a huge 5,000 m² covered garden. There are around 300 trees and 25,000 plants from all over the world. The green oasis is illuminated by sunlight, which runs through a large glass dome. Stores and restaurants are located among the trees on two levels, and there is an artificial waterfall in the center of the rainforest. There are walkways, stairs, and escalators for passengers.

The most magnificent Airport I ever visited. What a beautiful place!!! It was extra special for me because my Husband bought me a beautiful and very expensive Swiss watch there and we were traveling Business Class. I hope to travel back to Qatar soon.
Agree with you 100%!! Been often here because I usually fly with qatar airways, this airport is definitely beautiful and works perfectly fine. Would love to fly business also someday, too bad am always on budget 😂

Yes, i think so too! I fly almost exclusively with qatar airways, so at very least once or twice a year make transit in this comfortable airport.
