Well I'm glad to know you've not been in the hospital or laying in a ditch somewhere! Just teasing, that's what my mom tells me when I've not checked in with her in awhile, glad you're back! And I had an American Bully who was deaf, in fact she was the reason I started watching you so I could command her, and now I even have the neighborhood kids signing so they can control her too!

I really am enjoying your channel and learning ASL. I currently have a rescue greyhound. Although I have loved all my dogs, my grey is just the best and most unique dog of all of them. Loving, loyal, low maintenance, doesn't shed, couch potato, etc. Best dog ever!

Congrats on your new pet! There's A LOT of words on here that I would benefit from, probably most of them. :) I slowed it down and watched several times but I'm a slow learner. One big one I get confused on is how "figure out" and "right" and other words that look similar are done. I've slowed it down on here and I'll keep watching and maybe I'll eventually get the hang of some of the other words. I'm happy you're back and can't wait to see what you have coming up. Maybe eventually you'll show us your pet!

Glad to see you back. I've been away from your channel for awhile due to personal and family health reasons. I need to refocus on my asl learning to strengthen my memory and give me purpose and something to do, work on everyday. Going thru some stuff now and focusing on your channel always helps .

It’s so good to see you again, and to spark my interest in learning ASL again. I’d had classes at the local Deaf Community Center a couple of years ago, but apparently they aren’t teaching again. My hearing is getting worse all the time. Without my aids, I can’t hear myself talk. I also have a new pup, an English Cream Golden Retriever. She just turned one on Oct. 27. I hope to teach her to respond to signs, too.

Hi, thanks for the kind comment ! YES I keep meaning to do a video with. food signs. There are just SO MANY WORDS! If it helps, here's a VERY old video in which I use pictures to teach many food signs. Note that it's kind of hard to see, which is why I took this video down. I'd love to know if there is a sign for guinea pig and if so what concepts are part of the sign as most languages' name for them do not easily connect with: small, rodent, from South America.

I have a dog and four cats. Today I had to rescue a frog from one of them that had gotten in the house somehow. I never let the cats outside (indoor only) but... frog?
Apparently frogs can be little ninjas.

If you're hearing, why don't you just talk while signing?
Hi Hailee, good question! I don' speak while signing because that'd be like speaking English AND Spanish at the same time. It wouldn't work! Speaking while signing (known as simultaneous communication, or sim-com) often results in one or both languages not being fully and grammatically expressed.

I just recently got 3 tarantulas as pets and still cant find out the sign for tarantula.
OMG. Yikes! Not for me, but hope they make you happy. You'd use the sign SPIDER, or if you want to be really specific, fingerspell.
