The vlog was born to introduce beme, it died as beme as we know it died. He just used RUclips and his vlogs to generate interest in him and his product and as interest became unimportant, his interest in producing regular content for RUclips decreased. I think his RUclips account has never been about his subscribers in the way a lot of other vlogging accounts are, because it wasn't about generating income for him.
I'm sad he stopped vlogging but glad where he is and what he earned

I have saw allot of hate for Casey after selling his company, calling him a "sell out". I don't see how doing well for yourself is selling out, just sounds like jealous individuals trying to make themselves feel better. As a 24 year old seeing a guy like Casey who had nothing and go on to make something of himself due to hard work, I find that inspiring. So congratulations Casey, keep going dude :)
