This body sculpt is going to be reused for a Sasquatch figure in the Monster Force series. I think it would definitely fit that character better than a bear, but this figure is badass as well.
Best friends i ever made were while i was in the military, i even call them brothers. And like my actual brothers i love them, but we were constantly verbally vicious with each other, picking at each others weaknesses, breaking balls, the way you could tell if someone wasnt close or well liked was if nobody insulted them, lol! On another note, proportions aside, this guy looks great. Unfortunately, my ac just broke down and i have no idea how many hundreds ill be spending on that. Great review!
Yeah, the proportions look like a King Kong/Donkey Kong figure with non-ape feet. Definitely not a fan of all that for this kind of figure.
Excellent review, Hatter! This guy is fantastic. Someone on one of the FB groups I'm in was posting about 33toys offering the Panda as an option and showing off the one he just received a couple months ago from them so, I had to check it out. Altogether with shipping, it ended up being about $30 more than the standard brown and black versions (like you said around $115 total) but, that's the going rate for an exclusive of this figure. Big Bad's all white version is $110 plus their $4 shipping and it comes out to about the same. I like this guy so much that I ordered all 4 versions. Brown guy should be here next week. Thankfully I was able to space paying for them so far apart! I have to wait until next week to complete the preorder on the black version. And then Big Bads isn't supposed to be available until at least Sept. He doesn't fit well with the cartoon turtles but, he looks great with Last Ronin Mikey. I'm betting he's gonna look great with the other Last Ronin turtles they have coming out, too. And he looks great with the Monster mashup Turtles, too. I'm still waiting for my Veteran Willams from Big Bad and the alternate version that Bombusbee has. But he's gonna look great with them, too. Fury Toys, Memory Toys, Maestro Union - they are really rockin' it with these lines! Make sure you are paying attention to 5k as they are about to open preorders for the Fury Toys sharks any day now.

I've been waiting for this guy forever now, but now that he's here a couple of things are keeping me from pulling the trigger on him.
I picked up the black version recently and one of the things that I noticed with the proportions and articulation of this thing is that its basically the same as the Mezco Toys "Kong of Skull Island" figure that they made a few years back.
The armor was a pain in the ass lmao but for the belt at least, I popped off the legs to slide the belt on and found that was pretty easy.

@@madhatterreviews6705 It's pretty good. The skin is more silver and there's blood streaks painted onto the finger and toe nails along with the teeth. It also has blood on the teeth and red eyes so it has a demonic kind of feel to it.
From on oldschool WoW vet, these look pretty accurate to the Furbolg faction, now realized in bloody full detail. I ordered two, the white and black versions, just so they could face-off with some of the recent Mithril Action orcs that have been coming out around the same time. Very excited to have them in-hand.

I heard it's difficult to shove a small mushroom peg into a cold hole. You're bang on with the observations of the body proportions. Does look good though. Maybe a name using Bamboo or monochrome or Li Yang is khan's name. Cool fig.

I love the height discrepancies between this guy, the Furay stuff and the Fury Turtles. Mainly because it mirrors the difference in sizes between the base species. An actual Turtle would be dwarfed by an actual bear, especially one of the brown bear species. As far as proportion goes, the giant arms aren't too out of sorts to the shorter legs, a brown bear on two legs does have noticeably longer arms than legs. Stylistically, it also matches the proportions be used by most of these third party toy designers, which, of you're willing to spend the money, you'll be able to build a nice, consistent group of figures that work well as a single toyline.
I was thinking of putting the Veteran William with my 'Not 'Leo' figure and honesty, think about the real size difference between a panda & a turtle...this works well and authentically they look perfect together. Been on the fence but think i need to hit Ali Express for the Veteran Willam this weekend

Awesome figure! I'll probably have to pass on these as I am too heavily invested in Furay and Axy's dinosaurs. I just can't add another $100/fig line to my collection. Plus, I hate that you have to purchase a lot of there through sketchy sites.
Heat up the plastic! Not the peg, but heat up the hole, and it'll slide right in. Yes. I said what I said, lmao!

Glad you pointed that out. I noticed the same thing the eyes are too soft they should’ve been more aggressive. I’m one of the few who DOESNT want the panda. My preorder if for the brown bear he has white eyes and I like that waaaay more. Hopefully I get the brown bear instead of the panda 😓
