Guitar: 1888 Antonio de Torres (SE 114) "La Italica" (www.guitarsalon.com/product-1...)
Here's Andrew York playing 'Knowing' (the third movement of his 'Glimmerings' suite) from his most recent CD Yamour - available here: tinyurl.com/kwhklbv) on a gorgeous 1888 Antonio de Torres that sounds fantastic with virtually any style of music. This guitar is also known as "La Italica" due to its headplate (which we removed for the recording). Read all about this historic guitar here (tinyurl.com/mvlygo5). Recorded in the Guitar Salon International showroom in Santa Monica, CA.

Dear mr York,I believe that the world keeps being a place worth living as long as there are musicians like you and your art. Thank you very much for your good performances.
I like how he tells an story through his guitar, his compositions are like little tales.
welcome to music

Light, delicate and sweet -- like sun reflecting on the wings of hummingbirds at dawn. What a beautiful tone Andrew York has. It might seem deceptively easy when listening to him play this piece, but his seeming effortlessness is something other guitarists spend their entire lives trying to achieve.
To be able to play that well and compose such beautiful music is a gift from God.
Please keep writing beautiful music that inspires those of us learning the guitar to hang in there. So much of what is written for the beginning intermediate player is often either quite complicated or so simplistic that one can lose the incentive to continue playing. Your music is just the opposite; it is a pleasure to hear, to play, and to learn. Thank you!
Not sure what kind of beginner would be able to play this...
I'd say its between intermediate and advanced for sure
Mr Andrew York one of the mazing guitar player and composer . what really get me is clear tune coming out of his style of playing. excellent Piece.
Andrew York when I first heard your song home I was thinking "What if I can play it?" I asked my guitar teacher to teach me and I know how to play the beginning but I will practice more keep up the good music!
I think this is the easiest piece from Andrew York. I learned how to play it on guitar by myself, without tabs or scores, only by ear. I love this piece.
How long did it take you to learn the song?

Saw this and immediately ordered the download of the suite off of Andrew York’s website.

Edmundo
Is it available somewhere?
David, it is part of his "Glimmerings" suite, which is available to purchase on his website.
the intro sounds like the argentinian anthem.
Booooo,molt joan, Catalonia free,💕💕❤️
Why the use of the capo which most classical guitarists dislike? Why not transpose down a tone? Is it to do with the sonority of his guitar?
Very cheesy piece, but all I want to hear is the guitar alone.

Exceptional.
