you prolly dont care but if you are bored like me atm you can stream pretty much all of the latest movies on InstaFlixxer. Have been streaming with my girlfriend these days xD
This is amazing! Such an beautiful piece - and the Hauser sounds gorgeous under Andy's hands. I hear hints of ancient harps and fairies singing in the glades. There is an otherworldly quality to this piece in particular, and to the entire suite. Thank you very much GSI and Andy for this musical wonder.
Does anyone know the significance of the letters that are spelled out by the 6 movements??? I would love to know, also someone should interview York about this suite!
The letters are extremely important constants that show up all over the place in physics and math. h is the Planck constant which is everywhere in quantum theories (physics of things the size of atoms or smaller)
that guitar is listed as bream's "Hauser" but can the guitar as a vocation be considered a "houser" in a colloquial sense. maybe for Peter Yates now holding York's previous position at UCLA but even as a scholarly study, the guitar fails as a viable university on many levels, leading to this aberration of the arts, a bohemian York performing on his last whim of superior performance, stretching the verneer of the dialect while barefoot, unshaven, & clinging to some anthemic ghost of the past wearing a tie-dye shirt, maybe a guitar teacher can get by in this culture hoarding the secrets of the V.I.P. of the strip club S from the pimple-piercing, generally under-informed genitalia at large but unlike many people interested in the guitar who dislike being told how much better other guitar students are than them and how they should Pat for them from the explicatory exoneration of their charity, consider the consequence of genius without patron as demonstrated by York, the literati presented in this video, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart committed suicide because he was too proud to beg.
not good. some technique, about a 3.5/10. composition 2/10. I enjoy that tuning, i play for hours in that. effort/ conviction: 6.5/10 overall, 4/10. keep up the effort. maybe try to learn a few more styles.
alone66666 I believe its E, C#, G#, C#, G#, C# (tune the b and g strings up, the rest down ) it may be a variation of that tuning, but I didn't listen too carefully.
Joaquin Odriozola i don't make videos. Also, what do you mean by my stuff? my works or my ability to play others? if you have constructive criticism I could possibly send you audio, though if you aren't being friendly I don't see the point in the effort. I do however like to collaborate, so if that is an honest (friendly ribbing) gesture sure. What genre? I don't do death metal (scale work/shredding) or flamenco. other than that I dabble in a bit of everything. most recently ive been playing a lot of barrios
I love Andrew York’s playing and videos. He captures SO much of the guitar’s sound potential. So delightful and amazing.
Maybe he did but youtube butchers sound quality

Not that whoops.
Beautifully performed piece...but, holy smokes. Do they need that many mics to record one audio source?
Its difficult to record a classical guitar, very difficult...

All the people who say "Andrew York's music is slow and easy" have not listened to Andrew York, and certainly not this piece!
Will this be released on iTunes or vinyl or cd?
Yes, it is released on CD, iTunes, Spotify and all the other streaming services, and it will be released on vinyl probably in October 2018.
This is frickin' sweet! Death to metal!
You cheated on the Torres?
Awesome, but he is a mago in the violon guitar!
that guitar....
👍
*Voidman is coming
Andrew York: H
quite unusual
put some damn shoes on!!!!
i wonder, does he play better barefoot?
Ram dass is good
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ That's all I can say...
All of Andrew York's pieces are just the same things repeating over and over again. Just my opinion.
What's wrong with that?
The thing is that it never gets repetitive...
Play the video until 0:35 and then press 0 thank me later
that is one way to misrepresent the sound of decent guitar, play wanky fast free stroke rubbish with a capo on the 5th fret.

Fake intellectualism. If you are going to try, at least learn how to write. Were you on controlled substances when writing this nonsense?

Would you be so kind to let me know whats the tuning here?
man! you really made me laugh!!!😂😂😂😂

Sam Waldorf hey now we are in this. could u plz show some of your stuff? to see how it really must be done

beautiful
what is the brand of your classical guitar??
+khaeruddin ahmad
It's a $159 Yamaha..
that's nice low budget classical guitar
+khaeruddin ahmad
It's Hauser guitar. It is expensive. $150 guitar will never sound like that.
One hundred dollars, one million dollars, it's all the same. No difference. You can't buy love.
+LuckyLicks yea sure keep on dreaming, if the guitar sucks the sound will suck no matter how passionate the player is.
