@@maplenutsreact Hey Shondra how many months are you. Since you guys are expecting, There is a movie called Baby's Day Out that you have to watch. It is hilarious.
You have to see Bill Paxton in "TRUE LIES" (1994)! Fantastic performance on this character! As for tornados, I'm a Kansan. In my 60 years, I've only seen three. They are absolutely mesmerizing... so long as they don't kill you. Terrific reaction, guys! Loved revisiting this classic film with you.
One unusual aspect of the plot concerns the romantic triangle. Instead of the stereotype where the "other woman" is a monster, here she is a normal, kind, goodhearted soul who bows out gracefully as she realizes that this isn't the life for her but is for him and that he still loves his estranged wife. It adds some dimension to the central relationship that the competition isn't portrayed as a shrew. I really appreciated this twist on what we generally see in similar plots. 👍
She’s possibly my favourite part about this movie because it’s such a refreshing change. The acting is fantastic. And she’s a great stand-in for the audience as they keep explaining things to ‘her.’
Exactly. They stayed away from the lazy, tired stereotype of the new love interest. It would have been easy to have Joe and Melissa fighting the whole movie, instead Melissa is extremely human and relatable. She's a therapist and very self aware, so she quickly figures out the situation and leaves gracefully.
Melissa came there (into Jo's environment, no less) talking sh*t to her at the diner and got her a$$ humbled, that's all. She doesn't get a gold star for that.
I remember reading somewhere that like 70% of Philip Seymour Hoffman's lines were ad libbed. Apparently he kept modifying his lines that Jan De Bont basically just shot different takes with whatever he came up with. He became a character that in the beginning you went "How is this guy even part of this science team?".... then by the end your going "I LOVE THAT GUY!!!" Was a great movie on so many level. This was my favorite movie and have no shame saying I saw this 3 times in theaters when it first came out back in '96. Also made me want to purchase my first truck which was a '98 Ram 1500 Quad Cab. The cultural impact of this film is astounding. They filmed most of this movie in and around my hometown (Ponca City, OK). We had no idea just how huge this film would be. It's quite surreal. When they weren't filming, the actors and crew stayed at the hotel across the street from me and all the vehicles were parked at the grocery store behind my house. I used to walk over and look and touch the vehicles all the time. So crazy... So personal. I can't wait to see the new one.
Such a great cast. This film really gets the emotional punches right. Helen Hunt is incredible, I recommend As Good As It Gets with Jack Nicholson which won Oscars. This is my fave Philip Seymour Hoffman performance, and I hope that some of his own real character was in Dusty somewhere. I also adore Lois Smith (Aunt Meg) in absolutely everything she does (Minority Report). Seeing this at the cinema at release was incredible. I'm from Iowa, where we get quite a few tornados. When I was much younger, late 70's early 80's, my parents and I were home when our house was hit by a tornado. We were all okay, but it was a crazy experience.
Here in Edmonton, we had a notable storm in 1987 that included a series of tornadoes that hit multiple neighborhoods in town. That storm had the hardest rain, the strongest wind and the scariest and most beautiful clouds I've ever seen. And my grandmother in Oklahoma had a tornado cellar in the front yard of her farm. On visits there in the summer, we always half-expected to see one but we never did.
I don't think many people understand the power and devastation of a tornado. In that regard, they get surprised by Twister (not that it is 100% accurate, but close enough). And thank goodness people don't know, because I've never been more terrified than when one went through our house. Fortunately, we were safe in the basement. Its also quite surreal in how they move, destroying one home and weaving around your neighbors next door.

@@neilgriffiths6427I mean, on rare occasions there actually HAS been a tornado in the mountains. But certain areas rarely have them and if they have one, it’s a weak one.
Frailty with Bill Paxton is a trip, Weird Science has a really young Bill as one of the main character's older brothers and A Simple Plan and Trespass are pretty intense.
I grew up in "tornado alley". I've never actually saw a tornado...but did hear one going overhead in the dark. In 2011 I did go to Joplin MO to assist with cleanup the weekend after the F5 that hit that city. Finger of God indeed! At ground zero there was a path almost a mile wide that went for several miles where there was NOTHIING higher than 3 feet. I've never seen destruction like that and hope to never see the like again. I have always enjoyed this movie even though there are a few things that stretch the imagination. I will say it's the greatest advertisement ever for Dodge trucks (they hug the road while massive combines and semi-trucks fly through the air). Nice review.
This is where I say that the UK has more tornadoes per square inch than any other country - except they never last and are never bad. Except the two worst (not even close in scale to the ones in the US) in the last twenty years both happened near me. I was on the motorway near Birmingham in 2005, I saw the sky and the weird way the wind was blowing, and went "oh shit" and drove away as fast as I could. (Thank goodness for this movie.) It destroyed a small area of houses. Then just last year one went through my local area at night. A fair track of damage but it missed us by a couple of hundred yards. Honestly I love this movie, and it's endlessly rewatchable.
I live in Iowa, and this movie was huge here when it came out! I believe the house that survives at the end was shot in Iowa, and my uncle worked with the film crew when they were scouting special effects locations in the county fairgrounds in my city were under consideration. we get tornadoes every year mainly in spring and summer. Most of the time they just take out some trees or an old barn but unreal occasions they do more damage. There is a small town that was devastated about 15 years ago by a tornadoes. A lot of houses in the high school in town were destroyed. I saw a tornado from about a mile and a half away when I was a small boy before running downstairs to the basement
As much as I love this movie, it's nothing like going through the real thing. This past May, the town I live in here in Ohio was hit by an EF1 tornado with winds of 111 MPH. I was working from home and upstairs in my home office. About a half hour before the storm hit, it started to get dark outside with almost constant rumbling of thunder. About 4PM, the rain started to come down hard, and the wind picked up. I realized it was getting bad as the call I was on dropped when my internet/cable went out followed by the power. At that point, the house was shaking so bad that my computer displays were literally moving. The sirens hadn't gone off yet. I looked out my one window facing the west, and there was a wall of horizontal rain a couple houses away from my house, and the trees were leaning about a third of the way over. Realizing I needed to head to the basement, I grabbed my cat's carrier, ran downstairs, got him in it, and texted my manager down in Columbus that I was heading to the basement for shelter from the storm. It was at that point that it suddenly got quiet as the storm was past us. Then the sirens came on. As for how close I was to the actual tornado, about five houses up the street from my house was where the south edge of the damage path started. My neighbor across the street from me has a flagpole in her front yard that is still bent over at an angle from the wind. Amazingly no damage to my place. Fortunately, I have a backup generator that kept my refrigerator running, and power came back on about 13 hours after the storm.
This movie holds up surprisingly well, if you can overlook a few minor details. It is clear to see why there are still so many fans today and why there's a sequel coming after 28 years.
Yes Michael Crichton always did massive research so it's hard to tell where the science ends and the fiction begins . Interesting story about his book on climate change was that he went into it believing the concept was bollocks and the bad guys would be the ones claiming it existed. Then he did his research and went "oh shit", completely reversing the good guys and the bad guys.
The drive-in scene is based on a real event that happened about 5 miles from were I live. The drive-in was Spotlight 88. My family went to see some movies there. Evening of May 31, 1985 in North Sewickley Township. There were deaths and injuries.
Near Dark, I'm pretty sure was mentioned before. It not only brings Bill Paxton but also Lance Henricksen and Jenette Goldstein, a trio from the cast of Aliens.
27:42 Not gonna lie, the scene they pulled up into is incredibly lucky. A tornado of that strength can leave multiple blocks unrecognizable. They could still navigate and find Aunt Meg’s, in time to rescue her. Nobody thinks about how important street signs and other landmarks (trees, houses, etc.) are until they’re not there anymore.
One of the Guitar Player was Trevor Rabin he composed since 1996 Movie Scores too. Famous Works are Armageddon, Con Air, Enemy at the State, Bad Boys 2, National Treasure, Deep Blue Sea...
I worked at Silicon Graphics when this film came out. SGI did a lot of work on the digital effects and supplied computer gear for both teams of storm chasers, which is why we all got a free screening. We loved a little inside joke: Jonas's team had beautiful new SGI computers and monitors; Jo's team's gear was all beat up, and the Silicon Graphics logos were broken off and replaced with the company name in masking tape. Still makes me laugh to this day.
Ooh, ooh! With Halloween approaching, I MUST suggest "Near Dark"! Young *vampire* Bill Paxton! I look forward to it. Hah! 😉👍 Otherwise, I'm from Nebraska, so this us stylized, but accurate. Earlier this year, we had an outbreak that wiped out buildings and ran over a train, all on video! And then there's the story of the two brothers near Omaha who got sucked out of their crumbling house and tossed! They wound up hurt, but surprisingly ok. 😬
Cameron actor is in "Star Trek: Generations" as well. Don't know about a semi-truck picked up that high, but a tornado threw one of our semi-trailers on the farm about 20'. We actually measured from the pads it was set on to where it landed.
For more Bill Paxton recommend Predator 2, Weird Science, Mighty Joe Young, Titanic, Apollo 13 and Monolith. He also had one or two lines in Schwarzeneggers Commando
That was an amazing reaction! Thank you so much for watching this icon! Believe it or not, they actually interviewed 2 people who actually were in the middle of the tornado and survived. So everything Bill and Jo saw were exactly as the survivors described it. Helen Hunt has also been in these films: Quarterback Princess, based on true story about a girl being a kicker on all boys football team, and Soul Surfer, which based on the true story of Bethany Hamilton’s shark attack and overcoming her obstacles to get back in the water. If you loved Phillip Seymour as Dusty, you’ve got to see him in The Hunger Games film series. If you want more natural disaster films I recommend Dante’s Peak and Volcano. 👩🏼👨🏻🌪
I understand the hype, ever since I saw this back in '96 in theaters, it's been a blast ever since to go cruising out in the country in a heavy rain or thunderstorm with this soundtrack blaring in the car. Hey, It's the little things in life..🤣
I'm so glad I was a teen in the 90's and got to see all these movies in the theater (some at a drive in). Glad I found your channel. Excited to see what else you react to.
Northern Illinois was hit with 11 tornadoes last night. Thankfully, they passed us by. One was spotted on camera at O'Hare Airport. They had to evacuate the control tower.
They had a stacked cast indeed. Hello, Jeremy Davies too?! He's been in so many amazing movies since Twister. I remember seeing this movie at the theater with my Mom. I loved it, and was 13 turning 14. I can't wait to see Twisters and I read that Bill's son James makes a cameo. ❤️
This was written and created by Michael Crichton, writer and creator of Jurassic Park. He was a well-educated man with a few degrees. He loved writing sci-fi thrillers around cutting edge scientific theories (for the time). That same approach is why they made a requel called "Twisters." It's both a remake and a sequel that updates the science aspect to modern day. It's just as fun as the original.
One False Move is an underrated Bill Paxton movie with Billy Bob Thornton. An intense thriller with a few comedic moments. He did a lot of films in his career.
Remember this was 97 so almost all effects were practical with only the tornadoes and some smaller effects are digital. So cool. There is a great making of feature on yt very cool
I love this movie it's 28 years old and still looks incredible lol Fun fact this was the first movie to be put onto DVD That little girl in the beginning is Alexa Vega The is basically a 2 hour commercial for Ram Trucks and I love it lol 10:44 great line lol 12:04 I love that line too "are you mad?" "I'll be mad later right now I'm trying not to kill us" lol 12:54 "wheres my truck?" "There it is" lol 15:52 there was an idea to make that cow a zebra instead to tie it into Jumanji which came out a year before this but they decided against it lol 33:05 easily my favorite part and they did that for real lol 34:50 those are actually fence posts going into the barn, and that actually happens I've seen pictures of one that went through a concrete curb it's insane You can actually see the path the tornado took at the end
I live in Michigan now but when I was a kid, my family and I lived in Oklahoma for 3 years from 1988 until 1991 when we came back to Michigan. My father had a job offer in the Tulsa area. Oklahoma is in 2nd place as far as number of tornadoes per season. Texas is number 1. When we moved to Oklahoma it was in the Spring, (March);right at the start of tornado season, and 1988 was a year that saw some epic storms that dropped DOZENS of tornadoes just in Tulsa county alone. It was scary but exciting at the same time as I have always been fascinated by powerful storms.
First movie I ever got on DVD! - the late, great Bill Paxton has been in some major releases - among my favorites if you've not seen them are Apollo 13, Vertical limit & Tombstone!
my wife and I saw this at the theater when it first came out, and to this day when we get storms in our area I'll ask her if she wants to watch Twister! she says, "No!"😆 and Phillip Seymore Hoffman plays my favorite character. I have known people like him (and others would say I'm like him), and they are the best people to be friends with. loves to laugh, loyal to friends, an interesting point of view and sense of humor!
1:28 One of Bill Paxton's early roles include a co-starring part in the film "Streets of Fire" (A Rock & Roll Fable). It's a great movie from the early 80's starring Michael Paré, Diane Lane, and fellow Canadian, Rick Moranis.
As soon as the final F5 tornado starts to dissipate, watch the piece of wood that falls down towards the left side of the screen. If you look closely, you can see the director's last name "de Bont" on it. Jan de Bont directed this as well as Speed (Keanu Reeves, Sandra Bullock.) And Allen Ruck "Cameron" is in it, too.
I miss Bill Paxton. I really enjoy movies like this where he gets to be front and center. Always memorable in his roles. And I'm glad you enjoy him too. Apollo 13 is another great film of his and a little horror film called Near Dark is one of my personal favorites.
The thing about rescue is you're dealing with unstable piles of wreckage containing broken glass, possible live electric lines, broken tree limbs, exposed nails, broken natural gas lines, and maybe raw sewage, among other things...
37:45 "we live in the mountains where you can not get tornados" So did I, I lived in Billings Montana in 2010 we had one that hit the arena plus multiple others across the state that day lol
The widest tornado in history was the 2.6 miles or 4.18 kilometers wide El Reno tornado...it took the lives of the twistex team. The first storm chasers to be killed by a tornado...rip twistex ❤
I was also obsessed with tornadoes as a kid. My mom took me to see this in theatres when I was 10. From Southern Ontario and we get Tornadoes sometimes
Depending on the location mountains can have tornados, I remember one that touched down briefly in Golden, Colorado which has mountains going up on the west side of town and 400-600 foot tall mesas on the other three sides. There have been a couple in Salt Lake City, Utah, and Billings, Montana. There have been some in broken/mountainous terrain from Western Tennessee, across Southern Kentucky, West Virginia, Western Virginia, Western North Carolina, and Northern Georgia. These are usually smaller and short-lived but can still do some damage.
the scene with the cow is a series of multivortex tornadoes. basically where a storm will drop several funnels within a short time usually in close proximity
I experienced one tornado in 2006 (in Florida during a hurricane). Your comment "it sounds like a monster" is quite accurate. I was safely hunkered down in my condo, but the sound was almost exactly like a locomotive outside my window. This movie did a great job simulating it.
That's EXACTLY the description I've heard, is that it sounds like what you think a train is driving straight to your house would sound like. That's terrifying.
I am also a Canadian (Hamilton, Ontario) so I would never think we would have a twister problem...That being said...About 3 months after this film was released, I was a taxi driver who pulled into Tim Horton's to grab what was probably my 5th coffee of the day when a tornado caused the wooden fence on the passenger side of my car to be lifted right out of the ground and dumped it on the other side of the gas station's parking lot about 30 yards away. There was also three phone booths cemented into the ground about 100 feet away from me...the MIDDLE one (go figure) got knocked over. Pretty scary stuff.
Yep, Canadian as well, grew up near Windsor, now in the GTA, and we've always kind of been at the "top" of Tornado Alley, but with climate change they're definitely becoming more frequent as some weather patterns like to converge here.
Fun Fact: Dorothy is based on the TOtable Tornado Observatory, abbreviated as TOTO, which was developed by the National Severe Storms Laboratory. Sadly they never got one into a tornado to collect data.
Great movie great reaction guys😊 the cast is next level.... when you quote SW Ep 4 you know it's awesomeness "That's no.planet.. IT'S A SPACE STATION!!!!"...
Growing up in Miami, I've been through several hurricanes, one being a Category 4. I was visiting my mother when Hurricane 🌀 Andrew hit. It felt like it wanted to get into our house. My sister's best friend's husband was killed. Andrew was tearing their house apart and they had to get out. He was hit by flying debris. Hurricanes are known to spawn tornadoes. A new community called Country Walk was totally destroyed. The only house left standing was a nearby farm house that was built in the 1920s.
One Paxton role no one seems to know about is Patrick Swayze and Liam Neeson little brother in "NEXT of KIN" !!! Edge of your seat action from beginning to end.
Watch Bill Paxton in Near Dark (1987). My fave character of his, and the best vampire movie of the 1980s. Also stars some other familiar faces from the James Cameron stable of actors.
A really underrated thriller not only starring but directed by Bill Paxton is "Frailty." The budget was kind of low, but the story and acting is amazing. Best to go in completely blind, so I will just say that it will surprise you.
When Bill Paxton died a bunch of storm chasers who loved this movie used their locators to spell out his name, because to them he was an honorary storm chaser.
Hey guys, great movie choice. Shondra, those mini tornados are what we call "Dust Devils" because they are a whirlwind of dirt/sand.😊 Living in California, we don't usually get tornados, but they do happen once in a great big while. In fact, we had an EF0 tornado (winds 75mph) touch down in Carpinteria in Santa Barbara County which damaged about 25 mobile homes & an EF 1 tornado (winds 110mph) touch down the very next day in Montebello, California which is in Los Angeles County which tore the roofs off several commercial buildings & injured 1 person in March 2023. Most of the time, we just get what they call "Water Spouts" which are tornados just off the coast in the water. - Movies w/Bill Paxton: WEIRD SCIENCE, THE LAST SUPPER, LORDS OF DISCIPLINE, TOMBSTONE, TRUE LIES, APOLLO 13, TITANIC, MIGHTY JOE YOUNG & VERTICAL LIMIT. There's more, but these are ones I have seen & remember off the top of my head. - I liked how sucked in u got w/this one.😊 Great reaction!👍

A Bill Paxton, Matthew McConaughey movie that doesn't seem to get as much love as I think it should is Frailty (2001).
Definitely doesn't get the love it deserves.
Perhaps Paxton's best film.
@@adamscott7354 I think you posted a reply in the wrong thread.
@@adamscott7354 who are you talking to? Matthew Modine was not in Frailty. And he doesn't look like Cary Elwes.
@@Tateorsomething my bad
Near Dark, I'm pretty sure was mentioned before. It not only brings Bill Paxton but also Lance Henricksen and Jenette Goldstein, a trio from the cast of Aliens.
27:42 Not gonna lie, the scene they pulled up into is incredibly lucky. A tornado of that strength can leave multiple blocks unrecognizable. They could still navigate and find Aunt Meg’s, in time to rescue her. Nobody thinks about how important street signs and other landmarks (trees, houses, etc.) are until they’re not there anymore.
I live in Oklahoma and have seen two F5's in my lifetime. 1999 and 2013. The 1999 tornado got up to over 2 miles wide.
Hah! 😉👍
Otherwise, I'm from Nebraska, so this us stylized, but accurate. Earlier this year, we had an outbreak that wiped out buildings and ran over a train, all on video! And then there's the story of the two brothers near Omaha who got sucked out of their crumbling house and tossed! They wound up hurt, but surprisingly ok. 😬
The best Bill Paxton movie is a chilling suspense movie he directed called Frailty
Tombstone with Bill Paxton, and a whole bunch of great actors is a must see!
Weird Science. The first movie I saw Bill Paxton in it
My 2nd favorite movie of all time!! Love this movie so much!! Nice reaction!
Frailty is Bill Paxton in a truly horrifying role. An amazing and under rated gem.
I see Bill Paxton First time on weird science what a fun movie from the 80s and i still Love it!🎉
One False Move is an underrated Bill Paxton movie with Billy Bob Thornton. An intense thriller with a few comedic moments. He did a lot of films in his career.
Remember this was 97 so almost all effects were practical with only the tornadoes and some smaller effects are digital. So cool. There is a great making of feature on yt very cool
I love this movie it's 28 years old and still looks incredible lol
Fun fact this was the first movie to be put onto DVD
That little girl in the beginning is Alexa Vega
The is basically a 2 hour commercial for Ram Trucks and I love it lol
10:44 great line lol
12:04 I love that line too "are you mad?" "I'll be mad later right now I'm trying not to kill us" lol
12:54 "wheres my truck?" "There it is" lol
15:52 there was an idea to make that cow a zebra instead to tie it into Jumanji which came out a year before this but they decided against it lol
33:05 easily my favorite part and they did that for real lol
34:50 those are actually fence posts going into the barn, and that actually happens I've seen pictures of one that went through a concrete curb it's insane
You can actually see the path the tornado took at the end
- the late, great Bill Paxton has been in some major releases - among my favorites if you've not seen them are Apollo 13, Vertical limit & Tombstone!
my wife and I saw this at the theater when it first came out, and to this day when we get storms in our area I'll ask her if she wants to watch Twister! she says, "No!"😆
and Phillip Seymore Hoffman plays my favorite character. I have known people like him (and others would say I'm like him), and they are the best people to be friends with. loves to laugh, loyal to friends, an interesting point of view and sense of humor!
Frailty is a great and underrated movie. Bill Paxton not only stars in in, but he also directed it.
1:28 One of Bill Paxton's early roles include a co-starring part in the film "Streets of Fire" (A Rock & Roll Fable). It's a great movie from the early 80's starring Michael Paré, Diane Lane, and fellow Canadian, Rick Moranis.
Those twisters over the lake were probably waterspouts, not as powerful as a tornado, but can still be lethal in the right setting.
Fun fact, my mother was driving through Edmonton on Black Friday in 1987. I was under a year old
Bill paxton in “near dark”one of the best of his earlier career 🥰🙏
As soon as the final F5 tornado starts to dissipate, watch the piece of wood that falls down towards the left side of the screen. If you look closely, you can see the director's last name "de Bont" on it. Jan de Bont directed this as well as Speed (Keanu Reeves, Sandra Bullock.) And Allen Ruck "Cameron" is in it, too.
Bill Paxton as Coconut Pete in "Club Dread" is one of the funniest movies I've remembered seeing him in
I miss Bill Paxton. I really enjoy movies like this where he gets to be front and center. Always memorable in his roles. And I'm glad you enjoy him too. Apollo 13 is another great film of his and a little horror film called Near Dark is one of my personal favorites.
I saw this in the theater with my mom & we LOVED it!! Such a great action movie.
What’s funny: the scariest part watching this as a kid, was the drive-in cinema showing the Shining.
The thing about rescue is you're dealing with unstable piles of wreckage containing broken glass, possible live electric lines, broken tree limbs, exposed nails, broken natural gas lines, and maybe raw sewage, among other things...
I saw this in the cinema when I was little. I loved it. It’s still great today.
Frailty , An amazing Bill Paxton movie
One of my favorite action movies! It holds up so well! The tornadoes are terrifying!! Loved your reactions!! Hope you're feeling well!!
I've already got my tickets for Twisters on Friday and cannot wait. I saw this one in theaters when it was released and I loved it!
The film I grew up with more than 20 years ago right here. Became a trained spotter for the NWS after being inspired because of it.
37:45 "we live in the mountains where you can not get tornados"
So did I, I lived in Billings Montana in 2010 we had one that hit the arena plus multiple others across the state that day lol
I know others have recommended Frailty as a Bill Paxton movie (he directed it, too) but I'll add my voice to that chorus. A truly terrifying film.
Love that you loved this movie - still in my top ten for sheer enjoyment after all these years..,.
the scene with the cow is a series of multivortex tornadoes. basically where a storm will drop several funnels within a short time usually in close proximity
This was the first VHS I bought from Sun Coast that had the THX Deepnote.
As a kid, this movie changed the way I looked at simple things like like wind or lightning!
Didn't an F3 or something tear through a drive-in movie theater while this film was out in Ontario?
Edmonton’s been hit by a couple of bad ones before. They’ve got a siren system now just in case.
This was my mom's favorite movie, she watched it at least once a week as soon as she bought the VHS
The big screen gave this a boost just from the tracking shots - so much detail.
Fun Fact: Dorothy is based on the TOtable Tornado Observatory, abbreviated as TOTO, which was developed by the National Severe Storms Laboratory. Sadly they never got one into a tornado to collect data.
I remember A Simple Plan being really good
Suspenseful and good acting.
The movie that introduced me to Bill Paxton, and made me an instant fan is Weird Science. A classic 80s comedy
One of my favorite movies. Rest In Peace Bill Paxton and Philip Seymour Hoffman.
Frailty is another excellent Bill Paxton film.
Bill Paxton - Apollo 13. Also has Ton Hanks, and Kevin Bacon.
Great movie great reaction guys😊 the cast is next level.... when you quote SW Ep 4 you know it's awesomeness "That's no.planet.. IT'S A SPACE STATION!!!!"...
This movie did inspire a whole new generation of storm chasers and meteorologists.
I see Frailty is up here already so going for the double down. Bill
Paxton directed it as well. Seriously underrated.
Frailty is a good choice. Are you familiar with One False Move? That's one that should get more recognition.
@@Justin0807 Haven’t seen that in ages. Quality film that flies way under the radar.
Bill Paxton and Billy Bob Thornton in A Simple Plan
A really underrated thriller not only starring but directed by Bill Paxton is "Frailty."
The budget was kind of low, but the story and acting is amazing. Best to go in completely blind, so I will just say that it will surprise you.
When Bill Paxton died a bunch of storm chasers who loved this movie used their locators to spell out his name, because to them he was an honorary storm chaser.
I wanted to be a storm chaser too. I’ve been through 3 tornadoes one of them I was a child. I still remember the sound it made.
I remember the twister ride at universal studios! Felt like I was engulfed in the flame! 😂
Can we just take a moment to discuss Jordan's mustache ??... that is a thing of beauty
