Even though i stopped watching arsenal in 2002
I can appreciate that ian wright biggest regret was not beating man utd that day in 1990
You had them, as you wright scored two great goals, and i have no problem with ian saying that was his biggest regret. Being at palace and what he did in that final was amazing, never saw him before, and i was a kid back then, having no idea who he was, but he just exploded out of nowhere in that game.
Ian is right they should of won that game, and fergie probably would of been sacked for losing. People forget that in 1990 alex ferguson was hanging by a thread to his job at man utd.
So i have no problem with ian wright having his heart on his sleeve, and saying his biggest regret was that day at palace
For me, the favorite goal that ian wright scored for arsenal was against psg in semi of cup winners cup in there stadium
He was a big time player for us, and a deadly striker
Scored a hat trick on his league debut for us at southampton, and did not stop.
    Class
I have no problem with him saying that his biggest regret was 1990 cup final, when palace due to him had man utd on the ropes, and alex ferguson must of seen sacking coming, as if man utd lost to crystal palace in that final, fergie surely would of been sacked, and no one would of heard of what alex ferguson did with man utd after that.
Fine lines decide history, and i have no problem with ian wright having that as his biggest regret
Just glad he got to play in front of a standing north bank at highbury, and even though i stopped watching arsenal in 2002, he was great for us
I have no problem with him saying he regrets that moment at crystal palace the most, crystal palace made him, and found him, and he must of had an amazing connection with the fans at selhurst park
You do not get players like ian wright and stuart pearce anymore who come into the game late, and really enjoy it, as it came late for them.
Just a shame that george graham got sacked in that dumb way, who knows what george graham could of done with arsenal, the best manager arsenal ever had.
