This was very useful. However, the use of the label "dropdown" as the descriptor for the option set created a lot of confusion and ambiguity. The Option Set IMO should be named after the type of options it offers -- something like "progress status". No data entity should be named after a UI control type - but rather after the unique and distinct business function for which it is associated and the specificity it provides.
