Super cool tutorial thank you. Is there any way to show the options when in Design/UI Builder mode? It's hard to get into the groove of designing things when all I see is a repetition of Current Cell's SidebarMenu. I'd love to have a way to even put in some placeholder text when in design mode only, then pull the actual option at runtime. Maybe that's a limitation of Bubble?

Thank you for sharing! Quick question, would I be able to do permission control on the sub pages? e.g. Under main page "CRM", managers can see both "clients" and "invoices" sub pages, but emplyoees can only see "clients". Appreciate it.

Thanks for this great tutorial - one question though remains for me unanswered: how can I automatically collapse the submenu, once I am moving (hovering) to another main menu item? Taking your example: I have the submenu open for the Dashboard and I move with the cursor to the main menu item "Profile" - the submenu Dashboard should automatically close. I have tried all sorts of logic behind it - without success though. Any idea?

Ive been looking for this solution... did you find a way around this?

@@samuelogogo1663 Nope, I was hoping to get an answer and tried out variations myself, no success, though. For the time being, I avoided I avoided submenus - not a good solution, though.

@@samuelogogo1663 Found it ä- I open the submenu via the toogle command. Of course, I have to toggle again, once I went to the page of the submenu. So toogle to show the submenu, toogle to close it ;)
