What is not clear is if the mi band needs to be connected via Bluetooth when you make the payment or not. This means you don't need your phone with you when you pay. Anybody knows?

Can anyone confirm if the global NFC version of the Mi Band supports copying RFID cards? I know the Chinese NFC version allows this, but I'm not sure if the global version has the same functionality. Any insights would be appreciated!

Does the payment only work if the band is connected to the phone
It works even the phone is not connected.

Considering I have left the phone at home and I go to pay with the band, will it ask for the 6 digit code on the band? Will it ask every time or never? How does that work
You can still use it to pay even if the phone is away or not connected. It will only ask for the code if the watch is locked but not every time you make a payment.

I think you misunderstood it. You have 1 min to pay then it closes and just open it again if you need to.
