I have to say as someone who has been listening to this kind of music for 20+ years and being told by friends, family or anyone who finds out I listen to this music say "oh the screamers? There is no talent. It's just noise." Seeing people taking the time, energy and resources to put science behind primal vocals. Yes I'm using that now lol. It brought me so much joy I was tearing up. I can't wait for this to be in a written research document. This is so great. I hope you convince more vocalists to take part in this research like Dani Filth, Alex Terrible, Kyle from Brand of Sacrifice and Bryan Garris from Knocked Loose. Angela Gossow wrote theory articles about how she did her growls but it musty focused on how she used her diaphragm. So it is exciting that we are doing the theory about how to us your vocal chords, tongue and head space added on to how we know how to use breath control, posture and diaphragm. I'm so excited for this. Like I said I have been listening to this type of music for 20+ years and it makes me so happy that science is now backing what my ears and heart have been hearing.

I mean, Will's been all-in on the science since he crossed paths with Elizabeth. I really hope they've been able to consistently drag others into the pipeline for it. As amazing as the data Will's contributed has been, there's a *lot* to be learned from comparing and contrasting with others. If the only example of a building you ever saw was the leaning tower of Pisa, you might never realize that it was an anomaly. With Will being the baseline, more data's needed to find out if his techniques/methods/ability are consistent examples or anomalies. His eagerness to help find that out, and just general tendency to be an awesome person *are* a bit of an anomaly themselves, so it's hard to tell.

I can't believe what I just watched. This was the most incredible project I've seen in a RUclips video. The fact that the extraordinary talents of a metal singer were not only acknowledged but also cherished to the point of wanting to study them was already light years ahead of anything I would've expected as this type of music and singing are usually not valued at all outside of their fanbase. Then, on top of that, some remarkable science was done with it and I learned SO MUCH. Can't thank everyone involved enough. Will is a wild talent. This has blown my mind.
