Plug your mp3 player or phone to the aux port in the head unit with a mini jack to mini jack cable. Choose aux from the AV menu. Play music from your mp3 player or phone.
michael mullings I had the same problem, but fortunately I have solved it personally. All you have to do is to run a CD you want to listen / record, then in the CD/DVD screen - press the upper top left button which will start recording the CD to the HDD. After finishing a single song come out of the CD/HDD screen simply by pressing FM or AM or any other button you desire. Then you will see the HDD button appeared. Hope it will help you
