+iamyou 1972 If you had remove the battery terminals it happens some times.. there is a DVD with some kind of japanese installations.. you have to install that again. i do not have it.. but most of the repaire guys have it

I'm from Japan and I own Toyota car with original Navigation. all you need to do is push setting/option button, then, touch 共通設定, you can find it next to the question mark button of your screen at 0:38. Then find the button says 言語設定 and touch it. I think it is the 5th button from the top. It might be different order. Then you can select ENGLISH. I hope that helps. sorry for my bad English.
