SOMETHING ABOUT WAVES: Gerry Lopez and the Relationship between Surfing & Yoga

Brace yourself, this is a weird one.
Experimenting with AI animation tools lately. Fun, and chaotic.
I plugged in an old speech from my Patagonia film with Gerry Lopez that was too long for the final feature. My brilliant friend Matthew Hovell cooked up a lovely score. Then I started goofing with some used & unused footage from the film.
I love the way AI doesn’t fully understand our world (yet). Mountains in the sky. Secret galaxies underwater. The ambiguous sexuality and wandering facial features. It is at time glorious, and other times slightly disturbing.
Anyway…just an experiment here. Nothing to worry about. Move along.
