Hey Gerry, remember me? 1980 Sports Illustrated cover story. You taught this journalist the meaning of "soul surfer," or soul anything. Lived in Hood River 30 years, missed you when you came to Big Winds. Now I live in an eco village on the southwest coast of Lombok, Serengan is my wave; at 76, goal for the final 20 years is to be a flexible fit bodyboarder. Finally time to settle down and learn about waves.
I started doing Hatha yoga( and meditation) back in 1976 when I was 18 living and surfing on Maui. At 65 im still doing it just like my former surfing idol does!

Hey Gerry, Long time no see! I remember Hoõkipa & Honomanu days back in the 80s, Maxed out Middles & doing Yoga with Souki at the Old Maui High bfore the Gym burned down. Looking God Braddah. I need to get back on the Yoga, fitness program... been slacking for almost a year.
