I've got the Classic with the alox scales. I do miss having the tweezers like with my large Swiss Army knives, but the slimmer profile on my keyring is worth it.
These things are great my all time favorite i just used mine last night with a saw mod I made for it and cut up some thick branches then used the blade to make a wedge and split some wood with it as well
They do Classic SD in Alox aswell. But then you loose the Tweezers and Toothpick. Side note. You an replace the Toothpick with a ferrocerium rod. The Toothpick can be used for cleaning the tool to push a small ball of Cotton. Thanks for the vid.
You can use the tweezers for almost everything the toothpick can do. Obviously just be aware they are made from different materials and could cause damage if used aggressively. I replace all the toothpicks with ferro rods in my SAKs.
Thank you for a good video. And yes it exist in alox, in many colours. I have several Classic SD. One of them lives on my car keys, on my keychain i carry a Victorinox Rally and a Leatherman Style PS for the pliers. I could change it for a Minichamp or a Classic SD.
@@dads88 Ja, der Rambler ist besser als das Classic. Er hat einen Flaschenöffner mit Philips-Kreuzschlitzdreher an der Spitze. Der Kreuzschlitz passt in verschiedene Schraubengrößen.
I always have my non-SD Classic in my trousers pocket, sometimes I will have a Compact or Alox Cadet in a jacket pocket, but the classic is the important one.
The toothpick is great. It’s also useful for many other uses, like gently cleaning the charging port of your cell phone.
I also replaced the toothpick in my Rambler for a ferro rod.

Great little SAK have 23 of them.
None of the reviews talk about how well the SD tip of the nail file works on Phillips screws.

Do invest in the alox version. Yes, you do lose the toothpick and tweezers but the slim profile is much better on a key chain.
Of course there is an alox version, but no toothpick nor twizers. It looks really nice

Thank you, I'll look into it!

Classic SD Alox is what you're looking for.
Calssic SD does come in the Alox and it is SW~E~E~T!
What is ALOX?
@@dads88 It's what Victorinox calls their Aluminum Oxide models. They have metal scales and slightly thicker tools.
The scissors. Once you experience the scissors, there's not much better.
I have the minichamp which happens to be the best tool to make maintenance to an Harmonica.

Where do you buy these knives
WHERE DO YOU BUY THESE ITEMS?
@@dads88 In diffrent kind of local hardware or out door equipment stores.
Good little knife, but I much prefer my Rambler (although it’s much more expensive).
