I have one mrp m500 push Older Alpine woofer just one woofer's model number SWR 154D2 in Dodge Charger @2.9 cube feet the little man be able push sooo hard with stock head thanks to New Dodge Charger (2019) I can't change the stupid head unit everything hook up to the head unit 🙈🙉🙊🐝🍯🍯🍯👀💯💯💯💯💯
They pretty much the same spec except for the powers wire.. the new one mrv 500 just have bigger wires terminals the old models have small wire terminals (I used 12-14 gauges) are you need just solder bigger wires onto 12-14 gauges wires just heat sinking it's... Best of luck....

I have the predecessor, the mrp m450. I've been using it since 2007, and it's now 2024, and it works like a champ.
I'm surprised they never made a 1 ohm version but this amp is so popular why mess with such a successful amp series.
I had this amp and it does seriously more power then rated.
Most underrated Audio company out never get their respect.
Them Alpines tend to do rated and are very reliable amps great video and keepem coming 👍🏽👌🏽✌🏽💯
Ive got this same amp running 2 12s at 1 ohm daily works fine so far
I'm about to run 2 old-school Rockford hx2 at 1 ohm.

Shoulda tried 1.33 ohm these love that ohm load and do about 1k rms
U can wire this to a reactive 1 ohm load and it does around 850 u have to use 2 40 amp fuses or they pop.

Can u redyno using 1.33 ohm it will run that ohm no issue use 40 amp fuses
These amps will run 1.33 ohm will suggest running a cooling fan I suggest using 1 30 amp 1 40 or 2 30 amp fuses if planning on runnin below 2 ohm.

The new version the a 60 full bridge is a tad more powerful by 25%

These amps are pre-2010, so they're pretty old. I have the predecessor, the 450, built in 2006, and it's still running in my truck now, in 2024.
