That was very inspiring, thank you very much for sharing ❤️. I use my travel journal also in advance to my trip as a preparation e.g. for museums or special places, to have all relevant information like addresses, opening hours and so on. I also love to learn at least some words of their language beforehand or which food/craft/plant/architecture/habit is typical for the region I visit and maybe why this is special. I enjoy this process very much, this way I will be even more excited before my upcoming trip.

Very informative, thank you. I always keep a travel journal. It is seldom as neat as I want but it is a moment in time. I like to add a page in the front for expenditures as a reminder of what things cost, where I spent money. At the end of a trip, I stick in the extras at home then tie it up with a ribbon & it goes on a shelf with the others ...

During Trip - I log (as much as I can) the main content and the essence of my what I want to retain about how I felt or what I learned
