- In this video we are in my home town area in the north east of Scotland. Culbin forest is a wee hidden gem with a good mix of gravel to be explored.
Joining us is my Mum and Dad, taking us round the forest that I grew up exploring. We started out from Forres, and headed over the noisy Bridge of Muir (which was my favourite growing up!) and head out to the Culbin sands.
There are a few technical single track sections with some sand to keep you on your toes! You'll see a climb up to Hill 99 where there is a wooden walkway and tower you can walk up for some spectacular views over the Moray Firth.
If you have any questions please ask in the comments!
See you next time!

Yeah it’s a wee hidden gem. Great gravel and you can go down there in all weather to get some shelter. Lovely place.
