Mike Tyson was 20 years old when he became world champion. These guys need to fight each other (AJ/Wilder/Fury), before they get much older and start going grey. If they don't they will regret it being asked about these fights that never happened and the 'Good old days'. Everyone still talks about Ali/Frazier/Foreman but there is nothing to say yet about this era until these guys fight. Stop worrying about losing fellas. Ali lost 5 times and is still considered the greatest, greater than Marciano.

The Algerian What's your reasoning for being so assured it's one way over the other? If you're not a fan boy then you can surely see that it's all conjecture from both sides, non of us fans know all the facts or details. There is no way to tell who is telling the truth.
For such a staunch independent thinker I would have thought you'd be looking at facts, rather than picking which side of the story you like more.
AJ called out Wilder after the Parker fight and it didn't happen, so surely from his point of view he gains absolutely nothing by calling him out again after this fight when all the negotiations dragged on for so long and it didn't happen. I've seen so many comments (not from you admittedly) saying that he's blatantly scared because he tried avoiding calling out Wilder last night, there are videos littered across RUclips of them both calling each other out, is it so hard to think that he's got to a point where he doesn't think it's worth it? The only person benefiting from the Wilder talk at the moment is Wilder, so it actually seems perfectly reasonable he didn't want to give him the satisfaction.
But as far as facts go, when you look at the rankings of past opponents in meaningful fights between Wilder and AJ, AJ has the better names (statistically) on his record. When you look at the belts held, AJ has more. When you look at the amount of unifications, AJ has more. Finally, you would think logically that all of that would be the other way round when you consider Wilder has had almost double the amount of fights as AJ, no?
When Wilder first won the WBC belt, AJ was only British and commonwealth champion. Wilder has never fought outside the WBC since he won it. AJ fought three different opponents to claim all the belts he currently holds.
If you can counter that with any facts aside from the conjecture between the two camps about who is ducking who then please do.
BTW - facts would exclude your opinion on who is ducking and your opinion on people choosing to not fight Wilder due to being 'scared', as there is no evidence to prove this.
He may well beat Joshua if they fight, he may well lose, but ultimately my point is that if you don't consider yourself a 'fanboy sheep' you can't say that it's AJ ducking Wilder without completely contradicting your own self assessment.

Good victory by AJ. Povetkin was a serious boxer who came ready to box and fight. He gave AJ real problems especially early rounds and did rock AJ. Credit to Joshua for coming back and of course winning but it wasn't a walk in the park. Despite the vitriol against Wilder, he will bring serious challenges and problems to Joshua if that bout ever happens. Respect to Povetkin and Anthony Joshua for the bout. I'd rather see Joshua fight Daniel Dubois. Debois is a strong talented up & coming boxer. Give him his shot. Whyte is a has been. What't the point? None.

Bit harsh on Whyte. He's actually improving with every fight and looked very impressive when he knocked down and beat Parker in his last fight.
Yes, Joshua, Wilder, Povetkin, and one or two others are above Whyte, but that's about it. Whyte is currently ranked in the 5th in the world by boxrec.com and ring magazine, which are two of the most respected independent ranking lists in boxing.
Dubois is up and coming, and looks to have a big future ahead of him, but it's way too early for him to be thinking about fighting Joshua.
Even Whyte would probably beat Dubois right now. Maybe Dubois will overtake him in future, but right now Dubois is ranked 56 in the world and has not fought anybody decent yet. Whereas Whyte is currently ranked 5th in the world and just beat Parker, the ex world champ who was also ranked around 5th before he lost to Whyte.

This was a pretty even fight before the stoppage. You could make an argument for either fighter. Povetkin showed he has great technical ability and can seriously crack. However, age got the better of him. His punch resistance has diminished. Not surprising considering his age. When approaching 40, a man’s balance has pretty much gone out the window.

Joshua barely threatened Povetkin at all until the final round of the fight. Povetkin was the better man on the night. I don't know why it would give wilder confidence. he was comprehensively outboxed by Ortiz and needed referees assistance before his stoppage. aj and povekin was close till the knockout and if anything it was aj who was turning the fight in his favour with body shots and adjustments and perhaps povetkin tiring a little. povetkin is far better and more experienced fighter than Ortiz.

If Wilder gets Whyte then who'd AJ fight in April??? Don't make sense man. You can see AJ wants the Wilder fight but Hearn is shitting his pants.

Not taking away the fact Fury can box, but Wilder will catch Fury and he'll go down like a ton of bricks.
