Interesting flight. Great time of day. The play of light at times was stunning. I look forward to seeing more of your productions. Cheers from Wisconsin, Drew.
Wow thanks my friend I really appreciate that! I just got serious here on RUclips but so far having a lot of fun sharing these videos. Thanks for supporting!
I've see a few videos of these being put up in windy conditions. For some, like me, being able to handle wind, within reason, is a BIG issue. I'm also interested in range and the pan features. Not only am I impressed with the pan features, but am amazed that the internal software stitches it all together without additional software required. Great video.
Isn’t it an impressive little drone! Which one do you have? And what do you like photographing most? Always like seeing new comments here. Thanks for watching!
@@kodak_jack I’m just using my phone and flying the drone with standard gimbal maneuvers. When you fly fpv the gimbal tilts with the drone , I believe this can still be fine without goggle but goggles are the most common method to fly. Does they answer the question I hope?
Got this as my first drone and I had been considering returning this drone and dropping another $500 on the air 3s but this video changed my mind. I'm really impressed with it's image quality only being 2.7k.
Almost lost the drone I was 1000m away from it and kept ignoring wind warnings and it started to drift away and I lost signal, after 16 minutes I started to see it come back with a minute battery left, never fly in high winds
Yes the wind can really be tough, and is most dangerous on your flight home on low battery as you experienced. But it only takes that one chance to learn a valuable lesson and become and better dronie. Enjoy! 🙏🚁
i just flew in high winds 2 days ago with over 30mph gusts and was only 500 feet away. was flying forward and was watching it fly backwards. yea dont fly on windy days.
Great video now I will make sure the wind isn’t over 20-25 miles per hour before flying thank you for this also that one picture of the sunset was amazing just one small question what do u use to color ur pictures after u take them or edit them I guess
Yes that would be my recommendation, unless you don’t plan on going very high or far. I use Lightroom mostly and occasionally photoshop if I need to do more advanced edits
Are you editing your pics on another app? Or is this all with the drone? That sun pic was amazing. Im super new to this stuff.. this is my first drone, and just got it today lol.
Hey! Wow so happy you found my channel. It can’t be more exciting than to get a new drone. But can also be nerve racking! I use a variety of programs to edit. My most basic being snapseed on my phone or iPad to my more advance adobe lightroom + photoshop I’ll be doing a photo editing tutorial soon! Where you flying from?? 🙏🚁
Awesome, thank you. That snapseed app seems pretty "newbie" friendly lol. I'll try messing around with that one first. A tutorial would be great, I'll definitely keep an eye out for that. I'm on the oregon coast, so I'll be doing alot of light house and coastline shots.
So far I have just bracketed and HDR edit in the images. The gimbal mechanism is already very weak and adding any ND filter isn’t something I see as a necessity- great question! My phantom 4 and mavic 3 have UV filters
@@The-Drone-Guy Thanks for your reply, I'm debating between the mini 2 se and the 3. I just don't want to spend too much to start Incase I don't get much use out of it..

Mine is arriving today from Amazon! When you had the low battery warning at the end, how did you cancel the "take over" of a RTH situation? Also in the top right corner of the screen between the battery percent indicator and the signal strength meter, there are numbers like ' and '' (Feet and inches?) . What are they indicating and they vary up and down while you fly.
Hey! Thats so exciting it is arriving today - When the drone initiates the auto RTH feature it will ask you to confirm or cancel. So I selected cancel. You can adjust the RTH feature to initiate at different battery percentages. Those other numbers you are referring to indicate an estimated battery life time in Minutes ' and Seconds " - I hope this helps happy flying!
I recently bought 1. It's my first drone. Very powerful and responsive. Just need to buy an iphone for my android isn't compatible. Hooked up my mothers iphone x and it connected with no problem. Great flight
@john niziurski i have an a71 samsung. It downloaded the app via dji website. It just wont connect to the controller. I'm running android 13. It says on the mini 2se box made for iphone. But also has a section which shows compatible with ios and android
Hey! Great question, in this case that didn’t apply as I was close enough to still return on my own with battery left. I have it set to automatically return home no matter how close once battery is 20% - which I believe is DJI default If I was further away and the drone knew it only had enough battery to return home it would have started that automatically, just not in this case. Hope that helps clarify the two!
Great question! I normally always do but this was one of my first videos with the new drone and also one of my first RUclips videos so wasn’t totally paying attention to every detail 😂
I have a question. I bought an Apple IPad Air it’s an older refurbished one. Well when I started flying I noticed my screen was freezing up on me while still having good RC connection Then in the top left corner of my controller a warning popped up and said my CPU were loaded up.
